The Last Stand, - That’s not a Bad thing.. That’s a Good thing.

In the Epic line up for 1PW Road To Destiny & 1PW The Last Stand, 1PW is happy to announce another name for these shows. The former WCW World Champion DDP – Diamond Dallas Page is coming to 1PW.

a Special Q&A with DDP will be taking place and for the 1st time in a few years DDP will be stepping back into the square circle.

Set to appear so far on the massive weekend is:

Fight Clubs Agenda?
As fans know, 1PW Stripped every champion of there respected belts, however Fight Club have refused to hand the belts over stating possession is 9/10ths of the law. We have our very own MOB Fighting for 1PW @ The New Dawn on Feb 26th for the belts, but should they not win the belts back for 1PW. Fight Club have accepted an open offer from Pro Wrestling 4U to appear on there show in Keele on March 5th and if they are still champions they will defend the 1PW Tag Team Titles in someone else’s yard.

Along side Fight Club are 1PW Favourites at Pro Wrestling 4U March 5th is Lionheart, and El Ligero. In attendance to attempt to keep an eye on the 1PW Tag Title situation, 1PW Management have been invited a long to the show also. Maybe other promotions should take a step out of 1PW & PW4U and actually work together in the common goal of wrestling and not try to sabotage someone’s product.

I don't think the shows of recent years can really compare to the supershows of 2005/2006 in my opinion.

^ Not being biased, but the Supershow I went to last year was much better than (for example) A Twist Of Fate. Plus, they have much more UK talents now, which are a treat to watch. The only thing I miss about the old 1PW is Team S.H.A.G.

The U.K talents are very very good I think, I 100% agree with you there. However i still reckon the U.S ones are a cut above, maybe thats the reason I prefer the older shows. Each to there own I guess.

1PW only really went under one time.

then it was sold on, (still ran shows) then given to me (still ran shows) then i stopped doing shows until things were sorted out. never went under. :tomato:

Anyways, Yeah while the older shows had more American names on. that's what also led to its demise in the 1st place. you cant spent 70k + on shows. when the max you can make from the venue on ticket sales is 60k. if you increase ticket prices people moan, make them cheaper you can bring as many over.. catch 22 really.

so now since the take over from me. you get a lot names still. just a bit more controlled and sensible.
