^^^The difference there is that Impact is the only TNA show (Xplosion doesn't count because of it's WEAK syndication) for people to watch. That's the show that going to showcase all of it's top talent & name brand stars. ECW is the "C" level show & WWE has made that clear. When they advertise something important on ECW, people do tune in more than would normally do like when Undertaker showed up to team with Kane. However, a majorty of the ECW advertising on RAW is matches that would be on Heat like Kofi Kingston vs. Shelton Benjamin...there's no appeal there so people won't tune in. That's the main difference there.

at least TNA is slowly going the right way by removing Black Reign & Rellik from impact (yes i noticed there absence) super eric, shark boy next and curry man and bring back the fallen angel! and fuck off to AJ's stupid prince gimmick he isn't even angle's buddy anymore thats getting old fast..
and get rid of BG james (he sucks now and damn his music is horrible) even Kip does a better job then him (see kip vs morgan match)

Every single week the ratings drop after the first quarter. People get sick of Impact after just watching 15 minutes.

Yah, and Im one of them. Here are some small things that make me wanna fast forward my downloads.
* The constant need for looking/celebrating towards the camera after they do a move. This goes for most of the X-division. Every time they do a decent move, they stop, look at the camera and wink or something. Its lame!
* The constant need for dancing while wrestling. What is up with that? If I want dancing, Ill put on a Michael Jackson movie. If I want wrestling, I want TNA.
This especially goes to BJ James, Creed and Curry Man. Its ghey!
* The constant need for lame gimmicks. Im talking about Super Eric, Black Reign of course. Its just not funny nor cool. TNAs primary viewers are young males, not kids. And those gimmicks certainly dont help increasing viewers.

The opening segment always does terrible because they don't start with anything exciting. They start like WWE do with a guy in the ring cutting a promo in future they should go straight into a match and see if it benefits them.
I remember back in 2006 when TNA was still airing at 11pm on Spike and immeadiately after UFC finished they went straight into iMPACT midway through a match between Daniels & Joe and Daniels was already bleeeding. I always thought that was a cool way to start the show as anyone who is already watching wants to find out how it's going to end. It stuff like that would help TNA live up to its name.

Yeah the problem is they have some ratings to start of the show and then it drops. What starts the show? Interview. I think this will be the big month. If KOTM is returning then we will have KOTM qualifiers. These will have big names in and if these dont draw then I could see the bet of Joe by Victory Road. You look at this rating it just seems that no one bothered turning in.
Shame cuase I enjoyed this show. LAX got some good time, good X division match, good knockouts match. Like I said a big month is coming for TNA.
Thanks
Phenomenal AJ for the awesome sig.

May 15th Impact Rating .... ( Its not getting better )
0.9 ( 0.87 ) according to PWInsider
This is down from last weeks 0.91.
I get that it was a NBA game and some season finales, but with the the announced card and a post PPV show then its nothing else then terrible. Must say im suprised, with two Knockout matches I thought that would atleast boost the ratings up a little.
Will post the quarter numbers when I get the chance. Or someone can post them when they see them.

TNA Impact Rating - Did They Finally Beat ECW?
This week's edition of TNA Impact did a 0.9 cable rating (rounded up from a 0.87). So, the war with ECW was won by WWE for another week.

This rating sucks. There is also very little excuse for it to be this low too.
On the other hand, WWE's ratings for ECW and RAW have not been at their best either. Maybe we are heading into another pro wrestling recession.
-
The facts are is that this new serious tone of TNA's Product doesn't sell. Back in January TNA was a growing company which was reaching its peak. TNA needs to do what they did in January because in this day and age wrestling isn't as important.

i thought impact was pretty solid, i really enjoyed it....i dont understand why its down other then ppl are watching series finales and end of sports seasons.....i gotta assume that ratings will go up during the summer.
