well first off i feel bad that she got injured, i hope shes ok and recovers soon....with neck injuries, its never a quick thing, she will probally be out for a few monthes or longer, depending how bad it is...that puts the kibosh on her push, which is kinda good...

b/c honestly shes not ready to be a main eventer in the woman's division, you shouldnt ever push someone to the top right away when they are only learning how to wrestle and such....there are woman in TNA who are better wrestlers and should get the push......christy deserves to be in the womans division and wrestle but i wouldnt wanna see her as TNA womans champ, she needs to train for a year or 2 more and bulk up alit bit and develop her skills before she holds that title....

im not sure if they will cancel the match or switch it around somehow...who knows.

The press release says that Jim Cornette will name a replacement Sunday.

TNA's going to make everyone wait until the match to announce who is it.

Maybe someone new will face KONG.

Also if it was a work they wouldnt say a replacement would be made.

Update on the situation On wrestlingattitude.com:

TNA sources are reporting that Christy Hemme's reported neck injury is legit and not part of a storyline. Rumblings are that Taylor Wilde may be her replacement for tonight's Genesis pay-per-view in the Lumberjack match against Awesome Kong. For what it's worth, reports out of yesterday's K&S WrestleFest in New Jersey was that Christy appeared to be in good spirits and showing no sign of injury.

i hope they somehow make it a royal rumble, she will be the last one and steal it ,that way she will get the title even though she is injured, and it will be a good way for the divas to have a credible way to kick kong.

I hope the replacement is either Roxxi or ODB. If Cornette picks Taylor Wilde, again because of her Won-Loss record against Kong, then I'll be very disappointed.

Having said that, if they want someone new but technically under contract to TNA then how about Cheerleader Melissa if they can't get a one-off appearance from a well-known woman like a Trish Stratus or Nora Greenwald?

I dont even think Taylor had a title rematch with Kong and that reason is more than enough cause to make Taylor Wilde fight Kong again. I wont dispute Roxxi or ODB as replacements cause you got to look at the facts. Truth is that Christy doesn't deserve to be pushed like she has or be considered as a person who can fill the void in the TNA Womens division. Taylor, Roxxi and ODB are leaps and bounds better and more entertaining in the ring than Christy and Christy shaking of her ass taunts. Taylor, Roxxi and ODB could hold their own with Kong unlike Christy who would need Kong to carry her.

I am sorry to the Christy fans on this board who see improvement in Christy, but I rather see TNA eventually put the belt on a women that doesn't need to be carried and had no interest of taking wrestling seriously since WWE pushed her and released her. She joined training camps like the NJPW LA Dojo and dropped lessons. Rumors of her going to Japan for what reason people still dont know. And now that TNA wants her in a high spot, she is fully committed, but is unexperienced for the spot. If the injury is not a work, I hope she gets better.

    Injured Boooo!

So yes, it is true and unfortunately not a work... sorry, I really wish it was! I have two herniated disks in my neck. The doctors want me to have surgery right away but I found an alternative solution that could possibly get me back even quicker, woohoo! It is called NCR (neuro cranial realignment). I went to Seattle for a week to basically have rods shoved up my nose and into my head where they blew up a ballon to move my Sphenoid Bone (your temple bone) which apparently alines your entire body. Yeah, it was the weirdest feeling and grossest sounds I have ever felt and heard. My head moving and a lot of crunching... EWWWW! Anyways when all was said and done it made me an inch taller, straightened out my scoliosis and lordosis a ton and even my ears that were pretty crocked lol! My bones will continue to move for another month. The whole point to take all the pressure off those disks to let them heal on their own... come on lil guys heal hehe! To be honest this has been going on a while and I just didn't know what it was, my body would give me as many matches as I needed to get though and then sometimes my neck would completely lock up and I would get numbness in my arms and legs... but I kept going and refused to stop until after a day of some heavy training when AJ "caught" me in some pain and basically told me we wouldn't continue training until I got it checked out (thank you AJ, I can be a bit stubborn and invincible). So I went and got an MRI that revealed the little buggers! I desperately wanted to still wrestle and at least do my match at Genesis. It crushed me to be told no but I know that TNA is protecting me and I plan on having on hell of a career here... so if that means stopping for a millisecond then so be it... cuz Im coming back with more HEMME fire than EVER!! Thank you soooo much for all of your support XOXO, Christy

If anyone's still doubting the injury, if you google "neuro cranial restructuring" you'll find that procedure. It seems quite "holistic" and many medical websites are very critical of it.

I hope she's not going for a quick fix, like Kurt Angle did with his neck surgery a few years ago where the doctors went in from the front and not the back.

I cant talk for Christy, but it seems like she went with a quick fix to get back into her spot at TNA. I wonder if TNA promised her the title win for tonight. Anyways, injures like this happening to women who have no business in the ring is crazy.
