FWA Promo Content Rules *FWA Wrestlers Required to Read*

To clear up some issues: FWA Promos must run on a basic cable primetime rules. This means that the "F" "C" and "N" word cannot be used. Also these words cannot be censored in promos either. This goes the same for segments on Fight Night or CrossFire. Now I know even TNA which is rated TV 14 is not allowed to use those words, so neither should we. Let me make something clear we are NOT going "PG". We're all mature people, besides it shows more creativity to be able to get your point across without using those words.

But it's not just foul language that must be kept in check, use of illegal drugs in any promo is not allowed. Any promotion of illegal drugs is not allowed either. Also there is a certain level that must be understood in promos, there is to be no killing of people in promos. If you guys remember Raw almost got cut from the USA network when Pillman pulled out a gun on Steve Austin. However deaths in promos there is a kind of gray area, people dying on their death beds, we had Amanda Lee die as well. These however were all cleared with the mods and an admin before use so please tell us well in advance if you are trying to do something of that nature. There is no way to carpet what crosses the line it's not fair to creative rights, but anything that suggests "over the top" violence is not allowed. If you are unsure if something "crosses the line" or not just ask me or a mod in a private message. We'd be more than happy to answer it for you. That's what we are here for. We are taking the Miller vs. California approach (if you don't know what that is look it up.)

Let me make this clear, I am not picking on anyone or singling out anyone. The promo I had to win the X title broke one of these rules, so I am guilty of this! I'd say 95% maybe even more of the promos posted each and every week don't even come close to breaking any of these rules. So don't start sweating about this, nothing major has changed with this. Really these have always been the rules so don't fret. We are going to be keeping a watchful eye, any promos that break these rules will be eligible for immediate disqualification. However if we feel it wasn't an intentional violation of the rules we will let you know via PM and you'll have a limited amount of time to edit that part/word in your promo with no penalty. But you can only edit that part, any further editing will result in immediate disqualification and we read your promos so we'll know if you change something. Now I understand sometimes things will slip past a mod, so if you as a user catch something you feel is questionable send us a pm you will remain anonymous and we will look into right away. But again let me stress that for the most part you guys have never violated these rules anyway so don't worry about it too much.

Okay guys this can be real smooth doesn't need to be a big deal just follow the rules. It won't be hard at all and actually it will probably help your promos. These are the forum rules and these are MY rules. If you have a problem with these new rules you can talk to ME. I will answer any competent question about these new rules. and there are two C words; but don't worry about it, Wolf... I don't even think it's in your vocabulary, and it's never been used in a promo, so it's not even an issue.

I used the "S" word in my last promo but that was before this announcement, so I assume my promo won't be disqualified. The only issue I have with this is the "no killing" rule. This forces me to make certain adjustments, especially since I had planned on keeping a kill score. lol.

Well the no killing rule is an easy work around. Just make it so their is a chance they survived, just have to be creative.

I'm going to assume we're going by what's illegal here in the US, because as we all know, there are drugs that are illiegal here in the US that are legal in other countries.

And i guess this means no more absinthe for Team T.D. since it's illegal here in the US.
