The Future of Chris Jericho?

Ok folks I've heard several rumors that Jericho may be leaving wrestling , but not " retiring " from it...I guess he may be taking a " leave of abscence " ???
I'm assuming this may have to do with the TV show he was working on and possibly that the guy needs a rest??? Maybe his band???

With that being said, I'm kinda disapointed...
Jericho is one of the best, if not THE best guy in the biz....

What are your thoughts???

f they lose Jericho just because they wont give him a lighter schedule, he is THE best in the world. I thought they would have learnt after losing Hardy for the same reason.

Fuck WWE.. He was one of the best talker and best inring worker.. a total package of entertainment.. If they screw him also means they are making the same mistake again..Any way right now he doesnt have much to do it in raw.. Once HHH come back in night of champions he wont be there in the title picture..So better let him go and come back later some time...Wish to see him back as a face Badass Y2J

Well, Chris Jericho did say last monday that if Chris Jericho didn't win the Title at NoC then Chris Jericho will quit. I actually found it interesting that he would say it in 3rd Person. It might be possible that if Jericho loses but is resigned with the company, that they might pull a Chris Daniels. What i mean is, they had Chris Daniels "fired" but had him return as Curry-Man, so perhaps if Jericho resigns with the company but loses at NoC, they might have Jericho return as someone else

The likelihood is that Jericho won't be on our TV after NightOfChampions, But I really can't blame him.

He's made his money in the past 20 years, Whether in WCW, ECW, Japan or WWE/F. His good wrestling skills along with his incredible gimmick (Which he performs perfectly) is always a highlight for me and without him, I would be less interested in the WWE product. Anyway, Jericho has made his money off pro-wrestling and I don't blame him for wanting to leave WWE since he's got no reason to stay there.

I've always been a fan of Jericho's run on Smackdown last year (As IC and then World champ). It was great to see his promos and wrestling matches on Smackdown and he soon came to be the focus of the Smackdown main event scene. Jericho also became the unified tag champ with Show in another classic part of his great year (Last year). I will be saddened when he leaves, but I respect his decision and can't blame him.

I can see why he would leave. I think one reason would be that he doesn't want to be a hulk hogan or ric flair or undertaker and stay longer then he should and leave on a high note and be like HBK. With the tv show and the band would be less work and would have more days off to see his family.

But still I am bit puzzled.. If i am not wrong one of his book is ready to be in the market.. So if he leaves he doesnt get a response for that if he is is the wwe.. And with WWE he can do proper marketing and even he can promote it in his promos..So i doubt!!!
