Default NBC Looking for Married Wrestling Fans

NBC television show looking for pro wrestling fans with marital issues

The NBC television show "The Marriage Ref" is looking for pro wrestling fans who have marital issues caused by their fandom. "Are you tired of having your wife or husband berate you for being a major wrestling fan?" asks Dot Net Member and NBC casting associate producer Joe Pinze.

"Do you want to be a wrestler, but your wife or husband doesn't want you to follow your dream? If you are tired of being judged or ignored, let us help you referee your issues.

We are casting for a comedy panel show where celebrities help squabbling couples make peace. We are searching the area for outgoing and opinionated married couples that have a long-standing argument or issue that must be resolved. No problem is too small or too strange!

"Tell us why you absolutely need us to weigh in and proclaim, for once and for all, who is RIGHT and who is WRONG. We want to hear what absolutely makes you nuts when it comes to your partner! Tell us your beef and you might just get the chance to state your case on TV in front of your favorite celebrities!"

Powell's POV: You can send your stories to Joe at joe@themarriageref.tv. The only requirement (at least on this end) is that if you end up being booked on the show, you must mention Prowrestling.net at least 200 times during the shoot!

from my personal experience, well, i'd rather hook up with a girl that doesnt know what Wrestling is, even if she hates the fact that i watch Wrestling, than a Wrestling fangirl.

i used to date one thinking "well, at least now i can watch TNA with my girl", but hell, discussions ignited for almost anything, the truth is Wrestling fangirls are more radical than any of us with their opinions.

after that experience, i'd rather go back to dating dumb goth chicks.

I can honestly say that I love it when my girlfriends are wrestling fans! Most of them haven't been, but that's okay. It's mainly a guy thing anyway.

This program sounds like a good idea.
