Default A message from Matthew Robinson please Read

Alright guys there has been a lot of things said after the quite frankly disappointing performance or rather lack there of at Red, White and Bruised. So I am making this message to tell everyone of the status right now with the FWA. It is very hard to do this job when people don't make it fun.

We will not go to a break if people can start proving that we shouldn't. We need people to step up, write segments, write matches. On Fight Night each week I write about 70% of the matches and about 50-70% of the segments. That is simply too much for anyone to write. If you want a push you will need to pull your weight, obviously this means rping regularly. We know life happens sometimes but if you miss a week without a valid excuse the mods have the right to stop your push without warning. Also releases will be a lot more frequent, we have the three strike rule of course, but also missing a ppv promo will mean a kill of your push without valid excuse and missing a ppv title match can cause not only a kill of your push without valid excuse but means that you will also be eligible to be released. Now this doesn't mean we will release you, were nice guys here. But know your eligible for it. Also I'm not asking for each and every wrestler every week to write matches and segments but if about 4 weeks has gone by and you havent written a match and or a segment it'll be hard to recommend your wrestler getting a push. Now if you turn in your promos every week I honestly don't care if you dont write matches or segments. I'd prefer you did, but understand that all of this is just a strong suggestion not a change to the rules.

Real champions and championship contenders contribute. When you are a champion or #1 contender you are the focus of your division you need to be a leader. Were not asking you to do much except promo on time and once in a while just help out and contribute to the program. It makes our job easier AND it makes you better for pushes and hype as it will put you in the forefront and keep you relative. These suggestions arent just for us, they are for all of you.

Being straight up here, the FWA has died before and it has died because of similar situations like this. We don't want that happening again, I'm asking for your help. Now there are some of you that already contribute a lot, you guys are fine and doing what you need to do. You know who you are and we thank you for all your help. Again I know sometimes life happens and your just busy I've been there, trust me. First shows after RWB especially on FN will determine a lot.

P.S. This is not the WWE if we release you, you can always re-sign but as far as pushes go if you re-sign you are starting all over again and will have to gain our respect/trust back. We will no longer reward people who are flaky regardless if they are in the middle of a top storyline or have won big time matches. We will replace you. Don't think that you aren't replaceable.

i dont understand why you are doing over HALF of the work, matt, when you are supposed to have a partner who helps you with this stuff.

you claim you to write 50% of matches, and i know for fact that several members write matches every week, myself, and wolf included. yet, you are still doing half? that is not right.

and 70% of the segments? once again: where is your mod partner for all of this? i know members contribute segments as well, so there is your other 30%. it sounds to me like you run fight night all by yourself, matthew, with several regular members helping you out.

and an edit: as for the 3 strike rule, that has been ignored on more than one occassion. and what was the reason?: "if we release everybody who doesnt promo 3 times consecuitve weeks, we wont have a roster left."

and if it seems like i am attacking anybody here: meh. i am not, but perceive as you will. i just want a SOLUTION to the problems that have been happening.

I would much rather one show and one World title filled with a roster of guys who are going to promo every week and help out and be dedicated. If that means the Three strike rule is put into effect to cut dead weight, then so be it. We will roll with one weekly show, one roster, and one world champion. We have enough dedicated people in FWA to do this, we just don't have enough right now it seems for two shows and two rosters.

I guess that is the elephant in the room that no one wants to talk about.

now that right there is an idea, golden.

all 4 mods contributing to one show, and all pws members contributing to one show, would be beneficial all around, imo.
    - cut dead weight, and have ONE solid roster.
    - itll be more competitive.
    - all divisions, low/mid/upper/main would be covered, and covered well.

and theres many more benefits too. love the idea goldy

I agree with that. And who really cares if the show has like 10+ matches and a shit load of segments? We're not WWE or any REAL show. We're not limited by time constraints. We can make these shows as long and detailed as we want. There will be a lot of competition for the top title, and in terms of titles we could have one World Title, NA, TV, X, Tag Teams and Womens. Keep the YL Title and maybe have it defended primarily on Smash before the show for the new/lower card guys. Just to give them something to work for. Sure, the roster would be huge, and a lot of people won't get title opportunities, but I'm sure that there are just as many guys who wouldn't mind engaging themselves in a good storyline whenever they don't have a title feud going on. People need to be devoted to keeping their character busy.

One of the benefits of the idea (IMO) is that the midcard division would be so competitive, and the TV and NA titles...whether they are unified or seperate, would be extremely prestigious.

^^^NA has more prestige then World title on CF you fool. It is the top title there right now. Since I am a champion there was Ewan Edwards, who came got the belt over hard working people like cough me cough Moira who I beat to get the NA title in the first place and beat her after she lost the belt and Nemesis, who promoed three times since he won the belt in BIB The NA champion actually appears on the show weeklly and not once in a blue moon

you miss a week without a valid excuse
Hmmmm... this is internet and we do not know each other. This statement will only create crazier excuses from James Sync I can make up any story I want for missing a promo.

There's a shitload of hard working people on Crossfire. Not just you. Moira Crawford was a good world champion. She promo'd weekly and she gave a great promo at BIB against Nemesis (a promo that reading back on it a few weeks ago I thought should have won). Nemesis beat Stu St Clair straight up at Betrayal.

You've had a great feud with Princeton and Jackson, don't get me wrong. And I think they could definitely take a few notes on how to build a feud and how to carry a belt form what you have done as NA champion.

    HOWEVER,

You don't need to make your own case for you to get a World title shot. It's over, it happened, you're going to get your title match in the future no doubt and you are no doubt the best in the upper midcard on Crossfire right now. Everyone notices. You don't have to give a pitch.

i have to say, that if there was one brand, it would be dumb, very dumb, imo of course, to have a NA AND a tv title.

thatd defeat the purpose of competition. ONE midcard title. not 2. not a "uppercard" title. what the hell is that anyway? lol. a MID CAARD TITLE. one of them. one title for up and comers, and one for main eventers. and a tag team belt and womens.

any more defeats teh purpose of prestige, and compettiton. too many title is dumb.

    should be:
    world
    NA
TV/young lions (under ONE name. one belt)
    x
    tag
    womens

if u have 2 midcard/upper titles, you will run into the EXACT problem that we just got rid of, the porter/tv issue. someone will get it, and be stuck with it, if u have more than 1 mid title.

At the moment there are no plans to join the two brands together, its not off the table. There is always the possiblity of joining them like FN does with Smash to have super shows but I'm not rushing to that right now.

Killswitch does a good amount of work and I appreciate his help, due to his work schedule he's not always around when results need to be posted but he does write segments and matches and helps a good deal with designing storlyines, pushes and booking.

For now i'd just like people to pull their weight we can talk about more advanced things later. Let's see what happens within the next few weeks.
