I hope upon hope that Mr Anderson doesnt turn heel and help Jeff win. Helping a guy who cheated you out of a heavyweight match at BFG, screwed you in like two number one contender matches, broke your arm, and gave you a consussion. Even Russo wouldnt do that. Jeff/Anderson is TNA's money match right now, Jeff/RVD has lost steam becasue of the EV2 crap, Anderson turning would just be.....wrong.

I reckon anderson will get a chair shot, so he is 'concussed' and then the jackson james ref guy runs down and counts the pin on morgan... i dont see any of the faces turning tonight, they need them too much because theres so many heels

however the faces have been winning alot of matches on impact so expect the heels to be winning at the ppv

Not a bad ppv. Could have been beter though. Didnt really like the casket match to much and the I couldnt tell if Morgan was legit hurt at some point during the main event or if that was a work. If looked like he was really injured to me but kept going on as best he could.

So Jeff Hardy shows up to the PPV "hammered" and TNA rewards him with a "successful title defense." Total BS.

Good show until the main. Sick of that formula they have been using for their entire existence. Ref bumps, run ins, etc

RESULTS FROM TNA WRESTLING'S FINAL RESOLUTION PAY-PER-VIEW: SCROLL DOWN FOR PICS FROM THE EVENT

If you missed Sunday's TNA Wrestling "Final Resolution" Pay-Per-View event, catch the replay all month long on Pay-Per-View! Check your programming guide for times and availability!

-In the opening bout for the #1 Contender to the TNA World Tag Team Championship, Beer Money defeated Ink Inc after Jesse Neal missed a running tackle into Roode, who sent Neal into a superkick by James Storm. Beer Money then hit their finisher on Neal for the pin and the win. Beer Money are now the #1 contenders to the TNA Tag Team Title.

    - In a chaotic Falls Count Anywhere Match that went all over the the iMPACT Zone and the backstage area of Universal Studios, Tara defeated Mickie James. The fight eventually spilled into a nearby men's room, where Madison Rayne appeared and sprayed a fire extinguisher in Mickie's Face, allowing Tara to get the win

    - In the X Division Championship match, Robbie E retained the gold over Jay Lethal. Prior to the match, Cookie had to be forced in the cage by Shark Boy, who made a surprise appearance! Jay Lethal looked to have Robbie E beat, but Cookie threw a spray bottle from the cage to Robbie. However, Lethal intercepted the spray and used it on Robbie E! The referee saw Lethal use the spray and disqualified him. As a result, Robbie E is still the champion.

    - In the First Blood No DQ match between former friends, Rob Van Dam defeated Rhino after hitting him with a flying Van Terminator with a garbage can covering Rhino's face. The impact opened up a cut on Rhino, allowing RVD to get the win

    - Douglas Williams became the NEW TNA Television Champion after beating Fortune member AJ Styles with his own "Styles Clash" finishing move! It was an amazing technical and high-flying bout by both superstars. After hitting a vicious rolling suplex on Styles on the outside, Williams used AJ's own move to beat him back in the ring to capture the title!

    - In a Full Metal Mayhem Match for the TNA World Tag Team Title, The Motor City Machine Guns retained over Generation Me! The bout was filled with plenty of ladders, chairs and tables! In the end, Chris Sabin and Max Buck fought on top of a triple ladder / table structure, with Sabin getting the better of Buck with a steel chair! After Buck feel down through a table, Sabin grabbed the hanging titles to get the win!

    - In a Casket Match, Abyss defeated The Pope. Both Abyss and Pope had each other stuffed in the casket during the bout, but neither could close the lid. In the end, as both superstars fought on the ring apron, Abyss hit a chokeslam on Dinero and threw him down into the casket and shut the lid to get the win!

    - Prior to the MMA Match between Samoa Joe and Jeff Jarrett, Gunner and Murphy attacked Joe backstage and injured his leg. Doctors tried to convince Joe not to go to the ring, but he wouldn't listen. Joe tried to fight Jarrett on the mat, but Jarrett wouldn't take the bait. Jarrett continued to work on Joe's injured ankle. At one point, Joe had Jarrett beat on the outside via submission, but the referee reminded Joe he had to win inside the ring. Gunner and Murphy once again interfered , allowing Jarret to put Joe in an ankle lock. Due to the pain, Joe was forced to tap out, giving Jarrett the win.

    - In the main event with Mr. Anderson as special referee, World Champion Jeff Hardy retained the title over Matt Morgan! Anderson called it fairly right down the middle. Morgan hit the Carbon Footprint on Hardy, but appeared to injure his knee on the move. Hardy then hit a Twist Of Hate, but Morgan kicked out. Hardy tried to leave the match and get counted out, but Anderson wouldn't let him and followed him up the ramp, which resulted in Anderson mauling Hardy and tossing him back in for Morgan. Hardy hit a third Twist Of Hate, but Anderson took his sweet time with the count, allowing Morgan to escape. Hardy went for another Twist, but this time Morgan sent Hardy flying into Anderson. Anderson flew to the outside, and Eric Bischoff came out with rookie referee Jackson James. Bischoff slammed Mr. Anderson into the steel ringside post, knocking him out. Back in the ring, Hardy hit a Twist Of Hate on Morgan on a steel chair for the pin and the win! After the match, as Hardy celebrated with the title, Anderson was bloodied on the outside.

Well with the exception of the concussion, the Main Event Mafia did all of those things to Samoa Joe but they still ended up having him turn & join the group so it was possible but glad they didn't even think about it...they're already down on the number of A level babyfaces that they can't lose another one. As for RVD/Jeff, they're doing the same formula they did last year with Kurt/AJ where they're stalling the feud for a few months.

Decent PPV but it really fell off after the TV and Tag Title matches

    - The casket match just wasn't exciting at all, not bad but nothing good either apart from Pope being thrown onto it from the corner
    - Joe vs JJ was a complete waste, it was probably the only way they could put JJ over in a match like that, Joe's contract is up and TNA pull that rubbish? not clever
    - ME was another letdown, some nice moves but as a match it was completely average at best

    - Best match for me was AJ vs Williams, I'm still in shock from the result, great match, Williams needs some backup and they should be British
    - Mickie vs Tara was pretty good, I wonder where they're going next with this fued, brilliant comment from Taz about the mens' room getting a pop, shame about the finish
    - Tag Title match was good too but felt a bit off for some reason, maybe the crowd, I'm not sure, Max took a huge bump at the end and will still be feeling it at Christmas

Too many gimmick matches, it was starting to hurt the PPV by the time of the Casket and Submission matches, I don't know what TNA was trying to do

I enjoyed what I saw which was only 4 matches. TV title match was brillant, I pray for a Williams vs Styles feud, that would really elevate Williams. But great booking there. Tag Title match was awesome. Some great use of weapons with the obvious cut down on them. Its a shame that there fued looks over now, that really has been a high point for me. Just watching them 2 guys wrestle. X division title match was nice, didnt mind the booking in that as long as they keep the storyline going. It makes sense because Lethal just cant beat him, no matter what. Great cameo by Sharkboy, actually brillant. And the main event was okay, but just hated that ending. Would just be nice to have a good clean finish. From what I can remeber thats since No Surender at least when we have a had a crappy finish, I cant remember Victory Road. Would be nice to just have a clean straight forward finish. But the crowd seem to hate Hardy and it now seems that Morgan has that Main Event 'aura'. From what I saw I would say good PPV, the only problem is does anyone care enough to watch anymore?

Thanks Phenomenal AJ for the awesome sig.

id give the PPV a 9/10.

every match was good. some better then others.

    the highlights of the nights:

-sharkboy coming out and stunning cookie....lol.
-tara fighting mickie james in the mens washroom and one guy runs out of a stall with his pants around his thighs after taking a crap.

-my favorite match was easily MCMG vs generation ME. that was an insane match. easily in the top 3 of the year.

-doug williams vs aj styles was a great match too. good wrestling shown off here. cant believe doug williams won though, but glad to see a change.

Ha! I knew Doug would score an upset victory. He'll make a great TV Champ - just look at his X Division Title reign. While he was a heel at the time, I bet he can make a good babyface champ as well.

By the way... Chaos Theory is just sublime. It grows to be my all time favourite finisher.
