the #1 contenders match should of been on impact and the winner should of faced jeff hardy for the belt at genesis. that would of made more sense. a #1 contenders match as a main event for a ppv?

We don't know if that's the main event yet & they've done #1 contendors matches on PPV's numerious times...hell, they did it just last month with Beer Money vs. Ink Inc.
Having Morgan and Anderson fighting in the main event is just stupid.. RVD should be facing Hardy, unless they keep that for a few months down the line.. This PPV will receive 0 buys, if it's Morgan/Anderson in the main event.
they've had ppvs in the past that didnt have world title matches when there was a champion, im not opposed to it just as long as its got a really good main event, i agree i dont think morgan vs anderson is good enough to headline.. i just cannot see what would be the main event. Motor City Machine Guns vs. Beer Money is good enough on paper but its not going to drive up buyrates

Drive up buy rates or not, anything is worth a try at this point. I doubt TNA has good buy rates now (the dirt sheets "report" that sales are low). With proper build, the X match or the Tag Titles could main event the PPV and maintain the same level of buys.
Card looks dreadful so far with the exception of MCMG/Beer Money. Let's not kid ourselves, Morgan and Anderson are only good when they're in the ring with someone much better. Alone, both are below average workers so I'm not expecting much from this match. And the Jarrett/Angle thing is just awful tbh.

Morgan is a hell of a worker at times, Anderson is good but together they won't produce anything memorable.
"We’re fighting because Anderson doesn’t want to fight me. Anderson trained with Munoz, he got destroyed by Munoz, he doesn’t want to fight Mark. Ed Soares, Anderson’s manager, worked diligently behind the scenes to make Mark and I fight each other. So I don’t have a big problem fighting Mark. my resentment is that Anderson got his way.”

Imo, both of them fit in that solid if rather unspectular catergory. They excell against guys who are known as great workers (HBK, Angle, etc). Card is a prime example why TNA needs to an overhaul in their creative...when you have a roster like TNA does and it comes up with a disappointing card like this. Almost as if they are asking no one to buy it.
R.I.P Larry. You Will be missed. Ain't No Doubt About it!
Don't take the things I post too seriously. I am here for the LOLZ.

This was pretty much what I meant, Lainey. Both aren't that good on their own and when you put two workers who need to be carried against each other, it won't produce great results.
