I think this is his best chance of doing it again, but then again if Vince's concern for JR's health outweighs even HBK and Taker's requests then this might just be wishful thinking.

Even if it isn't him it'll be interesting to see the commentary lineup for the show, like will they have King and Cole commentate on the matches before their match then have people take over from their match onwards? I think if JR was to commentate that'd be the format, he calls from Cole/King onwards which will hopefully include the world title matches and the HHH/Taker match so that those get the big match feel associated with JR's legendary abilities.

id hate to sound like downer debbie, but ya'll dont stand a chance imho. petition shitition. i dont think wwe would care about what u want with JR. as gary referenced, its about his health these days, and a mania role may not be the wisest decision.

Commentating is such a small thing to me in wrestling i can care less if they have commentating or not. I say keep JR at home.

Swagger is stuck to manage Micheal Cole.......WHAT A GREAT WrestleMania for him. All of the middle carders look like they are going to be left out of WM, and they need a WM moment. The best thing so far for WM is that Micheal Cole will not be calling it.

Are you going to watch Mania this year? Just wanna know if you're pumped up to watch it this year.


I don't really have that much interest in seeing it to be honest.

Mania is not about dream cards, it's just about the spectacle itself. That is obvious if you look at the card. The force that is driving ticket sales is probably the fact that it's Wrestlemania. What are you excited about when it comes to Mania this year?

The card isn't very strong. Orton vs Punk is the highlight, but Punk doesn't seem like he has a chance. Orton took out almost all his flunkies, and Punk hasn't been booked as convincingly. Punk did well in the Elimination Chamber and he "defeated Cena" a couple times with a lot of help, but is that enough?

The Rock vs Cena is bigger than everything else going on, but the Rock is just the guest host. If the WWE doesn't make that a triple threat match, then the card doesn't really have a top draw.

HHH vs Taker...Taker isn't at 100% if the reports are true about his shoulder injury. Could be good, but it's a wait and see. I'm not a fan of either really, so you'll have to decide.

Lawler vs Cole has a great deal of attention...but does anyone see this as anything other than filler?

Alberto Del Rio and Edge have fought many times on SmackDown already (tag matches mostly though). Del Rio needs to win for it to have a lot of importance and not just be a throw away. I really wouldn't be surprised if this was the opening match with Edge winning.


Does the theme music pump you up? That listen to the stars song could put you to sleep. What happened to the classic WWF early 90s Mania theme?

I'll watch it, can't say I'll enjoy this years WrestleMania compared to others that I have been excited for.

I never miss Mania, to me it doesn't matter how good or bad the card is, been watching the product since I was a kid so it would feel weird if mania came and didn't watch it. (missed 17 in 2001 cause was on vacation)
Pumped up? sure, there's quite a few storylines to be resolved and want to see it play out, of course I'm intrigued about this rock/cena situation, plus want to see how the miz delivers as the champion on the big stage.
From a spectacle standpoint, find myself interested in the production, the stage, screen graphics, crowd reaction, lets be honest the wwe does amazing work with producing live events and making it feel special. You're right though SSA the music is very different from the 80's and 90's, still think that guitar mania theme from wm 6, 7, 8 is probably the best one ever.
I'm excited overall for this years.
