    – It would appear that WWE has parted ways with developmental women’s wrestler Christina Crawford (a/k/a Caylee Turner) because her profile has been removed from the Florida Championship Wrestling website’s talent page. A profile removal generally indicates that a talent has parted ways with WWE.

Crawford is the younger sister of WWE Diva Alicia Fox. She signed a developmental contract with WWE over the summer, making her in-ring debut in November.

Several developmental talents were cut last week, including Kevin Hackman and Caylee Turner. There may have been 1-2 more but I haven't heard any confirmed names.

-- It has been confirmed that WWE released developmental wrestlers Caylee Turner and Kevin Hackman last week. It's being speculated that one or two additional developmental wrestlers were let go.

While reasons for their respective departures have yet to be disclosed, Turner's is not considered a surprise among those in Florida Championship Wrestling. It's said that she caused a great deal of drama during her time with the organization.

Turner is the younger sister of WWE Diva Alicia Fox while Hackman is a former collegiate football player.

    Default Upcoming Releases??

    - WWE is planning on releasing several mid-card talents after WrestleMania, sources have confirmed. The next round of releases are coming because of the recent disappointing financial results.

Officials are looking at firing several mid-card talents and replacing with them developmental talents from FCW, which come cheaper.

    Icon13 Finlay Fired?

World Wrestling Entertainment released their top Producer/Agent Dave Finlay yesterday, PWInsider.com has confirmed.

The story making the rounds is that The Miz was booked to come out and interrupt the national anthem during a house show in Champaign, IL over the weekend in order to cut a promo that would set up himself vs. Randy Orton to open the card. There were a number of representatives for the National Guard, who are a HUGE partner and sponsor for WWE, in attendance. Obviously, they were not pleased with the anthem being used to get heel heat.

When word made it's way back to WWE management, the decision was made to release Finlay, who as the top Producer of the show, "had to fall on the sword", as it was described to me.

There were a lot of shocked people within the company today as word began to make the rounds among the wrestlers and staff. Finlay was well liked and more than a few people I spoke to hoped that it was a situation where he was let go only to be brought back down the line.

Finlay, a third generation wrestler, had been with the company from 2001 and was considered the top Producer backstage, with Arn Anderson directly behind him in the line of command. Finlay had long been given credit for the rise and improvement of the WWE Divas division over the last decade.

Finlay worked for several years behind the scene for the company before returning as a wrestler in a full-time role as well in 2006, mostly to help introduce the Hornswoggle character and work with younger talents that needed help in the ring. WWE had quietly retired him as a wrestler last year when the decision was made to go with younger faces on the television product.

Finlay had been wrestling since 1974. He was considered one of the top heels in Europe in the 1990s and also toured New Japan Pro Wrestling. He finally made his way to the United States during the Monday Night Wars for WCW as the "Belfast Bruiser."

That's a cowardly way to run business. Is making someone lose their job really going to appease the National Guard?

Was if Finlay's idea? That's not the way the article describes it.

I can't beleive they released him for that. lets hope he does a few indy dates while hes off. Finlay in ROH!!!!!! Finlay vs Claudio or Finlay vs Hero!!!!! Im sure he will end up backin WWE later on. Even if it was his idea, i think it was a little drastic to fire him. Going public ruined WWE as far as product goes.

The "selfish" side of me is happy about this because if Finlay decides to keep wrestling then I'll have the opportunity to see him again because I've always respected the guy & loved his work. However the entire situation regarding this is bullshit, Bryan Danielson all over again.

he'll be bought back eventually. He's too good at his job. TNA should pick him up for a backstage role.

...i swear i remember a moment in history this happened not danielson. rather wcw. they were afriad of offending people and being sued. international object anyone? you make money by offending people if your a heel. how is a heel suppose to get over if they don't offend people or do things that may have them be sued. it's idoitic on so many levels. finlay if alleged did write that segment along with produce it. he did it for the sole purpose to get miz heat. just ridcolous. i can already see finlay going to roh as roh has brought in dave taylor. it would interesting if he did a shoot interview. the guy defended the company against marc mero and other on national televison durring the benoit incident. why don't they just fire the guy..what's his face kevin dunn. 'were not wrestling. i don't know why we are wrestling even though we wrestle in the ring. nobody is going to know who terry funk he hasn't been in madison square garden or wwe in over 10 years. sheamus ran like a school girl when i aprroved the segment so i'm not a fan of his. even though no real connection to having the inner knowings of wrestling. ' fire kevin dunn don't fire someone else who is an actual asset to the company. office staff don't draw money. office staff and creative team don't headline or work towns to get a gross. it's the wrestlers. finlay great wrestler along with trainer. the decline of women's wrestling i would blame more on johnny ace for hirring models or female body builders for hirring them being female wrestlers. i can see finlay doing very well doing training semiors, being a road agent or producer for a ring of honor or a tna or dragon gate usa, chikkara, evolve ect ect.

    – It was reported earlier that WWE planned on releasing several talents following WrestleMania XXVII. The latest word is that between 12 and 14 talents will be cut. More shortly.

Well now I wonder who is going to be gone. I'm pretty sure within the next few weeks we will start to see names.
