Well, as you all may know Chris (Cryonix) is a mod here in the FWA. He has been around for a long time and he has helped a majority with us with promos and such. He and Nash ran CrossFire and they both made it a great show. And it saddens me to say this Chris is stepping down from being a mod. I'm pretty damn sure he will stick around and be here once and awhile, but I wanted to make this thread for a Thank You for his dedication and hard work in the FWA. You'll be missed man, and thank you so much you have made me better in the FWA. Thanks Man hope to see you around.
I made a thread in the staffroom but I just want to say thankyou to Chris, he has worked as mod when going thru so much in his own life and I just want him to know that it is appreciated more than he knows
I'm not sure how to sum up how I feel about Chris without making too long of a statement but this man for those who don't know has been the lifeblood of the FWA for quite some time. When we started out making CrossFire people thought it would fail but Chris and Nash of course made it work, not only work for a good period of time CF clearly dominated as the superior brand in the FWA and thats due to Chris smart and well planned storylines and character arches. Chris is a creative genius both in the RP arena and outside of it in the management position. More important Chris is a fantastic person, who I have come to several times with personal issues and he has been able to supply wisdom that only comes when you are a man as kind hearted and strong willed as he is.
Cryonix, you are one of the best in both areas of the FWA EVER! You can't be duplicated nor imitated. You are on a whole other level and I can't tell you the amount of respect and gratitude that I have for you. Cryonix.
due to my many years on this forum, and i can say im happy to see you arrive here on pws, get modded, and now, depart from modding. and admittedly, thinking you were a girl for a few months, like lots of people did hahahah. yeah, you are one of the best promoers ive ever read. you are one of the best writers in general, that ive ever read here. accomplished a lot in fwa, and on pws as well since you were modded. congrats on everything, and huge props to modding and working to make the fwa better during some hard personal times that you had. thats commitment!
so all in all, thanks for everything you have done. and a special personal thank you for any reviews that you gave my promos. your opinions were always taken into consideration man.
i would salute you with a jager bomb, but its too early in the morning... perhaps just a beer...
I started this FWA thing in 2006 while JBL Republic and G-Rich were the mods. I came and went a lot and back then, the feeling of FWA was much different. The excitement wasn't there, the drive wasn't there. Well I took maybe a year off, came back as my former wrestler AJ Hart, and iMatt and Cryonix had taken over. From that moment on, a certain excitement, a certain mystique formed in the FWA. I knew that something about the duo changed everything. I'm not discrediting JBL Republic or G-Rich, it's just like things clicked with you two and you seemed like you pushed to make every show as exciting as it could possibly be. When and If iMatt ever leaves, there's going to be two giant sets of shoes to fill. I think Dr. Nash is a great fit and he seems like he's passionate about the FWA. All of you do a great job and I hope you stay around Chris, good luck!
Over my two, almost three years here in FWA, I have talked to Chris a couple of times, he is a great guy to talk to, but what will always be in my memory will be how he helped make FWA exciting and a place that I always want to come back to. Be it by writing matches, roleplays or giving advice the man has always shined. He has helped me evolve as a roleplayer and as a writer overall. Thanks for a job well done Chris.
Thanks to Cryonix, you will be missed

Chris was truly a gentleman. He raised us as if we were his own offspring. Parenting and leading every person that seeked guidance. I gotta say, without him, I wouldn't have been the promoter that I was. But, forget promos. Admit it. Without this guy (and of course, Matt, Nash and others!), who wouldn't have done so fucking well on essays?
Chris wasn't just a mod. He wasn't just a part-owner. He was a mentor. He took me under his wing. His phoenix wing. He pushed me. He pushed others.
(Don't worry, iMatt. You'll get credit when you retire :P )
It was amazing working with him, seeing him get modded, him winning championships, his promos, etc.
This isn't to sulk over his stepping down, it's to rejoice. This man had helped shaped the masterpiece that FWA has come to be.
Congratulations, Chris. I wish you luck in any other endeavours you partake in.
Much love to Mr. Stallings, definatly one of the best promo writers in the history of the FWA and a man who has helped alot of people out along the way and contributed so much to CrossFire and many excellent storylines.
RIP William Christopher 'Cryonix' Stallings, you'll never be forgotten
Bow to Blue Print for the amazing Maryse Ouellet, Gabrielle Ignito, Kate Upton and Veronique banners
nearly four years of running crossfire; producing and writing crossfire. we built crossfire up from the ground up. both knew we couldn't do what matt/neva was doing with fight night at the time. we came up with something alternative to fn in crossfire. had a great enviroment for the fwaers asking us question or vice versa; give advice and giving an honest opinion. the first real feud crossfire had that didn't come from the brandsplit was stu 'the snake' st.clair vs 'simply' shawn cortez over The FWA World Heavyweight title. that feud brought meaning to the title and helped really establish it. when i faced you i felt to myself i finally made it to the top. let not forget doing well with jenny ignito and jillian de silvia as well. you left FWA and moved while some of us haven't. it's like the hotel california syndrome. you can enter but never leave. your accomplishment and legacy in FWA will never leave. thank you
IT'S NOT A SMALL WORLD. IT'S A PAINFUL UGLY WORLD!
What to say about the legend that is Cryonix! That guy was unbeatable... believe me, I tried so many times... I remember tha my firsts matches and feud as Anyanka were with you and you helped me so much build myself to become a better promoer... Everytime, I read one of Cryonix's promo I was always out of words, he was and is always right on and one of the greatest that has been in FWA for the last few years. It's a sad day to see you actually really leave ('cuz your characters hung their boots before) but it's not the same, FWA without Chris wouldn't have been the same! Chris was one of those people that helped FWA build itself, but not alone. Chris highen the level of the game...
It's a sad day to see you leave, there are few words to say left than Thank you!
Chris,
While I'm not exactly active myself I say this from the bottom of my heart (with sweetly sugary sappiness for good measure if I can help it)
I've gotten to know you for six+ years. Which is amazing in itself.
I would be a damn dirty liar if I said you had zero impact on my role playing. By throwing me curve balls like Ashley kicking a pregnant Jillian it drove me to places I probably wouldn't have had explored (or had reason too).
Outside of the whole e-fed thing for a moment and into sappier territory. Sappy but damn honest.
Chris, dude, you might not realize it but you are inspirational. That's right, inspir-frickin'-ational. Don't believe me? Alright lets review. Now I'm not going to go on about health because well...you know it already. The point is, it doesn't stop you. It might put you out for a bit, but it doesn't stop you. Im not just talking about it stopping you from doing to online yadda yadda I mean things like your martial arts. Maybe its not a big thing to you. Just the cards you're dealt. But it's always impressed me.
Plus your one of those friends I know I can vent or spill my heart to or whatever (lord knows I've done it more then a few times) and get an honest response. Either before or after a Phil Ken Sebben joke or something along those lines...
Anyways, back on subject. Because that was sort of a semi-tangent. Okay a fairly big one. But hell it all started in the FWA. (Plus, I promised sap, did I not?)
With that said, you had to ruin it for everybody and become a guy, didn't you? Jerk. >>
In all honesty, its nice to see you getting the accolades you deserve. So very nice.
Kudos, good sir. Kudos.
