Official WWE Injury Thread: Sin Cara, Barrett, Dibiase, Bourne, Gabriel
Alicia Fox is believed to have suffered a shoulder injury, possibly a separation, from taking a stiff Kharma clothesline at last night's Smackdown taping. Fox landed rudely on her side taking the shot.
We hope to have a confirmation on the severity of the injury later today.
- In addition to what is already out there, Michelle McCool is said to be dealing with various injuries including a broken toe, torn joint capsules, and a torn MCL. The idea is, since her and Undertaker want to spend time together and they have enough money, there is no reason for her to continuing as a TV character.

Dunno why but something about that 1 word made me laugh so much.

From Skip Sheffield's twitter: "First and last update here since so many of you have been kind to ask. Things have been extremely complicated with the injury and it was Much more than just a broken ankle and leg. It has been the most positive experience of my life and I promise you I will return very soon Bigger and badder than anything you have ever seen. Nobody is going to stop me from achieving what I have set out to do."
John Morrison is expected to be sidelined for several months after undergoing surgery on his injured neck today.
WWE orchestrated an angle last Monday on RAW where R-Truth ambushed John Morrison just prior to their scheduled match. He attacked Morrison again, leaving him immobile on the entrance ramp. The angle was set up in case Morrison needed surgery or time off. He was pulled from this weekend’s tour so the severity of his injuries could be examined.
This is a massive shame for both Morrison and WWE. With the current state of the roster, I was hoping that stars like McIntyre, Rhodes, Morrison and Ziggler could rise up and take the top spots so we don't need to see Orton, Cena and Miz on top all the time. WWE needs new stars, so it makes you wonder who will replace Morrison as one of the lead babyfaces on Raw.. The only faces on Raw now are Cena and Mysterio, possibly Big Show and Kofi. Will Kofi get a push? Who should turn face?
-- John Morrison is reportedly suffering from an injury that could cause him to miss some time. It's not clear yet whether Morrison's neck or shoulder is injured. Morrison may be able to keep working through a shoulder injury but a neck injury will definitely put him out of action, right in the middle of a push on the RAW brand. We should know more about Morrison's status in the next few days.
-John Morrison stated on his Twitter account this morning that he's undergoing surgery to repair his neck. He wrote:
"I'm about to get an operation to fix my neck- I will return @RonKillings."
The Raw Superstar did not work this past weekend's Raw live events despite being advertised.
A WWE source informed us over the weekend that Morrison has been dealing with a bad neck for quite some time.
We'll keep you posted on his status - hopefully everything goes smoothly and he has a quick recovery.
-- As previously reported, RAW superstar John Morrison is undergoing neck surgery today. Morrison's girlfriend Melina wrote the following on Twitter regarding the procedure:
"I've been keeping family posted so I'm sorry for late responses. Regarding John's injuries, I waited 2see if Jomo wanted people to know ... yes John is having surgery right now for a neck injury. He went in positive and that made me smile. I will keep you all posted."
- WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels wrote the following on Twitter on Monday regarding John Morrison's procedure:
"Word is John Morrison has 2 undergo surgery. I wish him the best & a speedy recovery. Ur 1st injury is always the hardest... JoMo, take ur time & heal!! U WILL comeback!! Stronger & better. Best of luck & go gut's."
- John Morrison's injury has been revealed to be a pinched nerve in his neck.
- Brett DiBiase was not actually released from his WWE developmental deal. Instead, he was transferred from a wrestler to a referee as a result of a bad knee injury suffered last year.
- John Morrison wrote the following on Twitter yesterday after his surgery: “Surgery went well- the RN said I now hold the juice box record! I drank 14 tiny juice boxes be4 they said: “maybe u should drink water now”"

Jomo update: He's doing fine. He's milking this He gives me these Puss in Boots eyes! No1 give him a bell 2ring when he needs something!
Melina posted a blog on her official website, RealMelina.com, updating fans on John Morrison after he underwent surgery to correct a pinched nerve in his neck.
"The first week after surgery is the most painful," she wrote. "He hates not helping out and carrying his own weight. He stubbornly tries to do little things and I understand that I can't baby him but I worry. I want to do everything for him so he can just rest.
"I have taken him on mini walks so he can get out of the house… he can't stay out for very long because he starts to ache. I wish I could do more. During the day he has to sit, but he can’t sit for long because his neck starts to hurt… then he can't stand for too long either because the same thing happens. His body gets tired because its hard for him to rest. At night he wakes up every few hours and gets out of bed because his neck is sore. For some reason he thinks I sleep through him bumping into stuff in the dark, on his way to the kitchen. He says coconut gelato is the only thing that makes his neck feel better at 5am. Bless his heart."
She continued, "I hate to see him in pain. He won’t tell me a lot of the times but you can just see it. It breaks my heart because he’s my Honey, but he always tries to smile. I admire him for being so positive, being strong and making me laugh. I wouldn’t blame him if he just vegged and sulked a bit… but instead he keeps his chin up and Smiles… even if it hurts."
