WWEDVDNews reports that there will be 1.5 hours of extra footage with exclusives on the Blu-ray version of WWE's "The Epic Journey of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson."
According to Australia’s official WWE DVD distributor, the new CM Punk DVD/Blu-ray (confirmed as going ahead by the man himself last week) is down on their schedule to be released to the region in October 2012, as of right now.
The title is expected to drop around about the same time in the United States, but most likely the domestic release will be slightly earlier, as is usually the case, in September.
Last year’s Randy Orton: The Evolution of a Predator, which was the same behind-the-scenes style format, was also released in September.
Stick with us for more details as and when we learn them.
We have a feeling two of the next news bits to break will be confirmation of which WWE DVD it is that Dusty Rhodes will be hosting (most likely WCW themed), and of course the cover artwork for April’s You Think You Know Me – The Story of Edge release
Jim Ross wrote on his Twitter account that he and Jerry Lawler worked on a "Top 50 Finishing Moves" DVD project for WWE yesterday, and that another Greatest Rivalries DVD in the vein of Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart is being planned for a future release. The Shawn vs. Bret won the 2011 DVD of the Year Award from PWInsider.com Readers. The most interesting sequel idea might be Steve Austin and Dwayne Johnson, although there are lots of other possibilities as well.
Upcoming announced WWE DVD/Blu-Ray releases set are The Epic Journey of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson on 2/10, You Think You Know Me: The Story of Edge on 4/10 as well as a CM Punk DVD now in the production phase.
I wish they still went ahead with the Austin v Rock DVD tbh
"We’re fighting because Anderson doesn’t want to fight me. Anderson trained with Munoz, he got destroyed by Munoz, he doesn’t want to fight Mark. Ed Soares, Anderson’s manager, worked diligently behind the scenes to make Mark and I fight each other. So I don’t have a big problem fighting Mark. my resentment is that Anderson got his way.”

According to FYE.com, they will be offering their own store exclusive 4-Disc edition of WWE’s The Epic Journey of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson DVD.
It will be released on February 21st, the same date as the standard 3-Disc DVD and Blu-ray versions hit stores in the US.
As for what is on the extra disc included in FYE’s exclusive, the product page on their website specifies “Free DVD (Wrestlemania XXVII)“. It can’t simply be the full WrestleMania 27 event because that was not released as a single disc, so at this point we can only assume the bonus disc will be The Rock’s appearances at the event, perhaps also with some footage from the build up to that Mania too.
Given that this exclusive is set to have it’s own unique UPC number (651191950386), we can decipher from this that it won’t simply be the standard version with a WrestleMania 27 DVD attached, but instead a different product.
UPDATE: It's the 2 disc version of last year's WrestleMania according to an advertisement in WWE magazine.

WWE confirmed that Lita will be appearing on the new Edge DVD that comes out soon by posting a video preview on their website. Lita wrote last year that she was filming some interviews for WWE and the Edge DVD appears to be what she was talking about.
What's the betting that the Atomic Legdrop and Figure Four Leglock are pushed way down the list?
Hogan's legdrop would but I doubt Flair's since they haven't shown a bias against him on their sets since he left the company.

WWE’s planned WCW themed DVD release for later in the year, which we previously reported will feature Dusty Rhodes as host, now looks to be confirmed.
Amazon have put up listings for a new Best of WCW Clash of the Champions set, revealing it will be produced on both DVD and Blu-ray formats, released on May 22nd.
The NWA/WCW Clash of the Champions show format was around from 1988 to 1997, and the main focus of this DVD compilation will most likely be match picks from World Championship Wrestling’s Clash events which ran from 1991 to 1997.
Pre-order Best of WCW Clash of the Champions DVD/BD on Amazon.
We expect to have some exclusive details on this title and the planned Home Video editions of WrestleMania 28 early next week.
With the new Amazon reveals the US schedule currently looks like this:
The Epic Journey of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson [DVD/Blu-ray] – February 21
Royal Rumble 2012 [DVD/Blu-ray] – February 28
Elimination Chamber 2012 [DVD] – March 20
You Think You Know Me – The Story of Edge [DVD/Blu-ray] – April 10
WrestleMania 28 [DVD/Blu-ray] – May 8
Best of WCW Clash of the Champions [DVD/Blu-ray] – May 22
Extreme Rules 2012 [DVD] – May 29
WWE is working on a "Best of the WCW Clash of Champions" DVD set, which will be hosted by Dusty Rhodes, who actually created the event.
Clash of Champions was a series of quarterly scheduled specials on TBS originally created in March 1988 to compete with WWF PPV events. The first was held on 3/27/88, taking place live and free on TBS opposite Wrestlemania IV, which was airing on PPV. The main event featuring Sting literally becoming a star overnight, going to a 45 minute draw against Ric Flair for the NWA World title.
The Clash concept was to put main event quality matches on the broadcast, a stark contrast from most weekly wrestling TV during that era which would usually feature enhancement matches, promos and angles and possibly one marquee match designed to build storylines for PPV and house show events.
The move to run the first Clash was actually retaliation against WWF, which ran the first Royal Rumble for free on the USA Network opposite Jim Crockett Promotions' first PPV, The 1988 Bunkhouse Stampede.
While only one other event would go head to head vs. a WWF PPV (Clash of Champions VI featuring a classic Best of Three Falls bout between Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat opposite Wrestlemania V), the Clash would remain a regular staple of the WCW calendar for years, presenting some great wrestling and angles over the years.
The Clash of Champions events would discontinue at the beginning of the WCW Monday Night Wars era where quality main event caliber wrestling began being presented weekly.
Here is the updated confirmed WWE DVD schedule for 2012:
* The Epic Journey of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson - February 21st, DVD & Blu-ray
* 2012 Royal Rumble - February 28th, DVD & Blu-ray
* 2012 Elimination Chamber - March 20th, DVD
* You Think You Know Me: The Story of Edge - April 10th, DVD & Blu-ray
* WrestleMania 28 - May 8th, DVD & Blu-ray
* Best of WCW Clash of the Champions - May 22nd, DVD & Blu-ray
* Extreme Rules 2012 - May 29th, DVD
- As noted, WWE will be releasing the WCW Clash of the Champions DVD on May 22nd. WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes was at WWE Headquarters a while back to do some work on a new DVD feature and WWEDVDNews reports that Dusty will be hosting the new Clash DVD.
