    Default Fantasy Wrestling

I started a Fantasy Wrestling competition at another website, but the site was taken down and the new site is not ready to have a competition like that. To be brief we had 8 guys and we drafted from all wrestlers and then went on to book with them. I thought I might continue with that booking here since you guys have a very active creative writing section. I will just post the roster I draft, and then post the shows I started on.

I couldn't be bothered coming up with my own company, so just based it in the WWF from around 1990. So I have the Winged Eagle belt, I.C and tag championships.

So here is the roster I drafted.

Hulk Hogan, Randy 'Macho Man' Savage w/ Elizabeth, 'Hot Stuff' Eddie Gilbert w/ Missy Hyatt, The Great Muta, Steiner Brothers, Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat, Doom w/ Slick, Terry Funk, Raven, Free Birds, Lance Storm, BrainBusters /w Bobby Heenan, Chris Candido w/Sunny, 'The Francise' Shane Douglas, The Islanders, One Man Gang, New Jack, Hart Dynasty, Rock N' Roll Express, Jeff Jarrett, Koke B.Ware.

I also put together a hype video.

    Default Wrestling Challenge Debut

Gorilla Monsoon: “Welcome Everybody, to the FIRST Wrestling Challenge or the NEW World Wrestling Federation! Tonight we will crowd our first ever WWF Tag Team Champions in a 4 team tournament.”

http://youtu.be/LIPc_pLvwkI (This is an intro to for this show that I made. Please have a watch of it on youtube!)

Jesse Venutra: “Rick and Scott the Steiner Brothers will face my favorites to win it all, managed by Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard of The Brain Busters!

Gorilla Monsoon: “Also in the other match-up the Rock N’ Roll Express will face the team of Ron Simmons and Butch Reed, managed by Slick, Doom! The winners of those two match-ups will face off in the Main Event to declare our first Tag Team Champions!”

Jesse Ventura: “Plus we will check in backstage with Mene Gene Okerlund who will interview some of the WWF Superstars! Let’s go down to the ring Monsoon!“

The Fink!: This will be the first match of the WWF Tag Team Championship Tournament…
    [Insert Steiner Brothers WCW theme]
The Fink: “Introducing first from Detroit Michigan, Rick and Scott, The Steiner Brothers!
Gorilla Monsoon: “Rick and Scott both look ready Jesse”

Jesse Ventura: “They sure look jacked Gorilla, but size and strength isn’t everything in wrestling, especially tag team wrestling.”

The Fink: “And there opponents lead to the ring by Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan. Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson…The Brain Busters!

    MATCH DESCRIPTION
Scott and Arn Anderson open things up as Scott demonstrates his power and strength throwing Arn around the ring. Arn quickly tags his partner, Tully Blanchard. Tully asks Scott to tag in his brother Rick.

Gorilla Monsoon: "If the Busters think Rick is the weaker brother they are kidding themselves!"
Jesse Ventura: "That isn't the plan of 'The Brain' Monsoon! The Busters are trying to get into the head of the Steiner Brothers, mess with their game plan"

Tully and Rick tie up, in the center of the ring and Rick sends Tully flying into his corner!

Gorilla Monsoon: "So much for getting in their head huh Jesse?!"

Tully gets some advice from Heenan, before locking up again. This time Tully goes behind Rick and they go back and forth with some chain wrestling.

The Steiner's rough up Tully for a few minutes, until Scott Steiner hits the ropes and Heenan grabs at his left. he turns to try and get at Heenan, as Arn Anderson grabs Steiners head and jumps to the floor sending Scott flying to his back.

The Brain Busters work over Scott in their corner and set him up for the Spike Piledriver finish...but Scott reverses it into a back body drop. He then slams Tully from the second rope into the ring! Scott crawls over to his corner and before the Brain Busters can stop him makes the hot tag to his brother Rick.

Monsoon: "He mad the tag! Rick Steiner is a house on fire!"
Jesse: "Even i will admit the Busters are in trouble now. Heenan needs to do something fast!"

Rick hits consecutive clotheslines and an array of suplex's and both members of the Brain Busters. he then climbs the ropes and hits a Bulldog on Arn and gets the 1, 2, 3.

The Fink: The winners of this match in a time of 14 minutes and 27 seconds, advancing to the Finals, Rick and Scott the Steiner Brothers!

    ------------Commercial------------

Monsoon: Welcome back fans. There is no messing around here, let's go back to The Fink!

The Fink: "This is the second bout in this Tag Team Championship tournament."
    [Insert Jive Soul Bro]
The Fink: "Being lead down the aisle by their manager Slick! Ron Simmons and Butch Reed...Doom!
Jesse Ventura: "If you thought the Steiner's were big boys Monsoon, just look at these monsters!"
Monsoon: "Credit where credit is due Jesse, they are big boys but how far can they go with someone like Slick is another issue!"

The Fink: "And there opponents from Memphis Tennessee, Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton the Rock N' Roll Express!"

Jesse Ventura: "A classic match up of speed vs. power Monsoon."
Monsoon: "Almost 30 minutes in and you finally say something accurate Jess!"
Ventura: "Hey! I'm always correct, even when I'm wrong."

    Match Description
Doom jump the Rock N' Roll Express before the bell and we are underway.

Monsoon: "What disgusting tactics by Doom. Surely from the devious mind of Slick"
Ventura: "Devious? I call that smarts Monsoon!"

Doom throw Ricky Morton out of the ring and go to work on Gibson in their corner. As they are working over Gibson with quick tags, Slick makes his way around to Morton and wakes him a few times with his cane!

Monsoon: "Look at that rat! This is why we need two referees out here for tag team matches"
Ventura: "You know what I say, win if you can, lose if you must but always CHEAT!"

Ron Simmons goes to hit a power-bomb on Gibson, but Gibson gets out over the back on the way up and tried to tag Morton...but he is still out on the floor! Simmons charges Gibson in the corner by he moves out of the way and as Simmons hits the turnbuckles chest first Gibson rolls him up for just a near fall. They get to their feet and wham...a huge clothesline by Simmons. He drags Gibson to his corner and tags in Butch Reed. They go back to work on Gibson as Ricky Morton crawls to the apron grabbing the tag rope.
After 5 minutes of Doom beating up Gibson they pose for the crowd. Reed goes to pick up Gibson who crawls through his legs and tags in Rocky Morton!

Monsoon: "Finally they make the tag!"
Ventura: "Yes but Morton got a beating by Slick and his cane, how effective can he be?"

Morton hits a bunch of drop kicks on Reed and Simmons. Then goes to climb the top rope. As the official is trying to get Simmons out of the ring, Slick takes out Morton leg's as he goes to attempt a drop kick from the top rope and he is crotched on the top rope.
Butch Reed slams Morton from the top rope to the middle of the ring. Reed goes to climb the top rope as Simmons set up Morton to slingshot him into the turnbuckles. As he sling shots Morton, Reed flies off the rope and shoulder tackles Ricky Morton.
Simmons goes over and covers Ricky Morton for the 1, 2 and 3!

Monsoon: "What a devastating move that is!"
Ventura: "That will put you out for a few days!"

The Fink: "The Winners of this match in 12 minutes 15 seconds and advancing to the finals...Doom!"

    -------------Commercial--------------

Monsoon: "We are back from the break and we have the new owner of the WWF, RasslingFanatic and he has the WWF Championship!

RasslingFanatic: "Ladies and Gentleman, I request someone comes down to the ring right now. My first draft pick...The Immortal 'Hulk Hogan!"
Ventura: "Oh no! I guess Pukeamania is still running wild!"
Monsoon: "Will you stop. In my opinion this is the great athlete in the world today!"
    [Insert Hulk Hogan Theme]
RasslingFanatic: "Mr. Hogan. As my first draft pick I would like to award you this belt to make you our first ever WWF Champion!"
Hulk Hogan: "Ya know something Brotha...I appreciate the..."
Voice from the back: "Wow, wow. Hold on a second"

Ventura: "Look Monsoon! It is Bobby Hennan to save the day!"
Monsoon: "What is this guy still doing here? His team lost already"

Bobby Heenan: "What do you two think you are doing? This is even below you Hogan. Accepting the Championship of the world without earning it! How about you be the great role model you are and fight for that Championship? At Summerslam! Earn it!"

Hulk Hogan: "Hold it brotha! Before you came out here and opened up your big weasel mouth I was about to say, I appreciate the offer RasslingFanatic, but I'd prefer to pin someone's shoulder to this mat for the 3 count and win the WWF Championship! Win it the Hulkamania way!"

Heenan: "If I may RasslingFanatic, I have an offer for you Hulk Hogan. I've tried for an entire decade to take that belt from you. I've used Andre, brought in Flair, Mr. Perfect, Bundy...you name it I've brought everyone in to take you out. This time however, I have an opponent for you...someone who I know you cannot beat."

Hogan: "Well bring him out then brotha. I will beat him like I have done every challenge. My Hulkamanics and I are ready for every obstacle you throw at u!"

Heenan: "Ahaha. He is not here this week, but I assure you next week on Wrestling Challenge my mystery man will be here! As you can see on RasslingFanatic's face, he knows who I am talking about."

RasslingFanatic whispers something into Hogan's ear. Hogan looks around unsure of himself, then smiles at Heenan. Hogan then rips his shirt off and poses for the fans!

Monsoon: "I don't like this one bit. That weasel has something up his sleeve and it can only be bad news!"
Ventura: "Who ever this mystery man is, I am backing The Brain all the way! And look at the ego of Hogan posing for the fans. He doesn't have a body like me, I tell ya that much Monsoon"
Monsoon: "He is giving the fans what they came to see Jesse. The greatest professional athlete in the world today"

    --------------Commercial-------------

Monsoon: Before we go to 'Mene' Gene we have a Video Package highlighting one of our more 'Hardcore' Wrestlers."
    [Insert New Jack Hype Video]

Mene Gene: "Welcome back folks. This has been one event packed filled night with The Steiner Brothers facing Doom in the finals of the Tag Team Championship Tournament yet to come. But before that I have with me right now with his manager, 'The First lady of Wrestling' Miss Elizabeth...Randy 'Macho Man' Savage! Randy, you are facing Jeff Jarrett next, what are your thoughts?

Savage: "Well I've been thinking, thinking, thinking real hard about what the future holds for the Macho Man! The future looks brighter than it ever has before. If anyone on this roster wants to take me down they have to walk into the Danger Zone! Not many people have stepped foot into the danger zone with the Macho Man and survived! Ohh Yeah!

Mene Gene: "That is a fired up Macho Man...back to you guys!"

The Fink: "In the ring at this time, Jeff Jarrett!
[Insert Randy Macho Man Savage Theme]
The Fink: "And his opponent, lead to the ring by the 'The First Lady of Wrestling', Elizabeth...Randy 'Macho Man' Savage!"

Monsoon: "Wow! Lead by Elizabeth and doens't she look great!?"
Ventura: "Come on Monsoon, you need to concentrate on wrestling. I know that is hard for you"
Monsoon: "I think you are just jealous everyone is on their feet watching Macho Man and Elizabeth rather than you!"

    Match Description
The bell rings and we are under way. Collar and Elbow tie up and Jeff Jarrett with the arm drag. Double J poses and does his strut as Randy shakes his head in disgust. Randy goes to shakes Jarrett's hand, but JJ kicks it away. They lock up again and this time randy with the arm drag. Randy goes go shake JJ hand again, and this time Jeff goes to shake. Randy doesn't let go and whips Jeff into the turnbuckle. JJ is meet with a back elbow from Macho Man!
Randy picks Jarrett up for what looks like a slam, but drops his throat across the top rope and Jarrett roles to the outside. Randy quickly climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits a flying double Ax Handle to the outside. Randy rolls Jarrett into the ring, climbs to the top again and hits the flying elbow drop for the 1, 2, 3.
The Fink: "The winner of this match at 5 minutes and 23 seconds...'Macho Man' Randy Savage!
Randy and Elizabeth celebrate in the ring as we go to commercial.

    ---------------Commercial-----------------

Monsoon: "We are back and it is time for the Finals of the Tag Team Tournament to crown our First Tag Team Champions. Let's waste not waste anymore time and send it down to the ring announcer, The
    Fink!
The Fink: "This bout is set for one fall and is for the World Wrestling Federation Tag Team Championships! Introducing first, lead down the aisle by their manager Slick! Ron Simmons and Butch Reed...Doom"

Ventura: "They look fresh Monsoon. I have my money on them for this one"
Monsoon: "Well to compete in the WWF you need to be in peak physical condition."

The Fink: "And their opponents, from Detroit Michigan...Rick and Scott, The Steiner Brothers!"

    Monsoon: "Don't they look pumped!?"
Ventura: "They certainly do Monsoon. One of these teams will be the Tag Team Champions of the world."

    Match Description
Scott and Simmons start this off with a test of strength.

Ventura: "Look it is a Roman Knuckle Lock!"

The test of strength starts 50/50, these guys equally as strong. Wait, Simmons brings Scottie down to a knee, now two knees. Stiener starts to come back and is now back up to one knee, now back up to his feet. Simmons delivers a kick to the midsection and whips Scott to the ropes. Scott ducks under a clothesline and executes a belly-to-back suplex perfectly! Simmons gets back up and charges at Scott, but Steiner hits an arm drag, then another arm drag sending Simmons into his corner and he quickly tags in his partner, Butch Reed. Reed then charges at Scott, but runs into a huge drop kick sending him through the ropes and out to the floor!

Doom are regrouping as Scott tags in his brother Rick! Doom are on the floor talking with Slick.

Monsoon: "I wonder what sneaky tactics are going through that mind!"
Ventura: "All's fair in love and war Monsoon!"

Butch Reed enters the ring as Simmons is at the corner, now holding the tag rope. Reed and Rick Steiner lock up and Reed brings him to their corner. The ref asks for a clean break and Simmons starts chocking Rick with the tag rope.

Doom, dominate Rick for the next 15 minutes hitting viscous double team moves and using that tag rope while Slick continues to distract the official.

Doom set up for the finisher as Simmons gets ready to slingshot Rick Steiner and Reed climbs to the top rope. Rick kicks Simmons in the chest, who flies into the turnbuckles knocking Reed off balance and he is crotched on the top rope. Rick crawls over to his corner and just before Simmons can get to Rick, he makes the tag. Scott runs in and hits a shoulder tackle, than a arm drag and he ducks behind Simmons and delivers a German Suplex which, send Simmons rolling to the floor.

Monsoon: "Butch Reed is the legal man Jess!"

Scott climbs to the top turnbuckle that Butch Reed is crotched on and delivers the famous Frankensteiner! 1, 2 and 3!

The Fink: "The winners of this bout at 32 minutes and our FIRST WWF Tag Team Champions. Rick and Scott...the Steiner Brothers!

Monsoon: "What a move, what a match. What a great night Jesse!"
Venutura: "Credit where credit is due that was a great move, but I swear Simmons was the legal man"
Monsoon: "Sour grapes Jesse! We will see you all next week on WWF Wrestling Challenge!"

Wow this is freaking awesome! I know you have written this a while ago so I am hopeful you have a lot of episodes made already and can just keep cranking them out because man I really enjoyed this. Lots of great tag team action, I enjoyed Savage VS Jarrett and Steiner Brothers as champs FTW!

I plan to wait a few days between each show, so everyone gets a chance to digest everything.

    I appreciate the positive comments!

Gorilla Monsoon: "Welcome Everybody! This is the Wrestling Challenge! I cannot promise you that the roof on this building can hold the electricity!"
Jesse Ventura: "Tonight we start our Double Elimination Tournament to crown our first ever Intercontinental Champion! Randy 'Macho Man' Savage takes on 'Hot Stuff' Eddie Gilbert and Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat takes on Lance Storm!
Monsoon: "In the Main Event we have Hulk Hogan taking on Arn Anderson of the Brain Buster and I can only assume Weasel Heenan will be in his corner!"
Ventura: "Don't forget my good friend Bobby 'THE BRAIN' Heenan, will introduce to the world and more importantly Hulk Hogan, his opponent at Summerslam for the World Heavyweight Championship! And Gorilla! I know who it is, but I won't tell you!"
Monsoon: "Enough time wasting, let's get things started!"

    Wrestling Challenge Intro
    http://youtu.be/LIPc_pLvwkI

The Fink: "The following tag team match-up is scheduled for one fall."
    [Insert Islanders Theme]
The Fink: "Being lead to the ring by Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan, Tama and Haku...The Islanders!"
Ventura: "Don't underestimate these guys because of their lack of size, they are some powerful boys"
    [Insert Hart Dynasty Theme]
The Fink: "And there opponents lead by Natalya, Harry Smith and T.J Wilson...The Hart Dynasty!"
Monsoon: "Smith and Wilson were both trained by the legendary Hart Family Jesse!"
Ventura: "I even heard Natalya was trained to wrestle in that Dungeon. Look 'The Brain' is going to join us for some commentary. How are you tonight Bobby?"
Monsoon: "What are you doing here Weasel?"
Heenan: "You have a bannana while I take over my show Gorilla!"
Monsoon: "Oh will you stop that!"

    Match Description
T.J Wilson and Tama go to lock-up in the center of the ring, but Tama throws a kick to the mid-section and quickly whips Wilson into his corner. Tama and Haku quickly go to work with quick tags and double team moves.

Monsoon: "Brain, your boys are doing a great job of cutting the ring in half"
Heenan: "Off course they are, I am not called The Brain for nothing"
Monsoon: "Your not called Weasel for nothing either"

Tama and Haku set up for a double headbutt from the top rope...but Wilson moves out of the way! T.J crawls to his corner and makes the hot tag for his partner Harry Smith. He is a house of fire right now!

Monsoon: "Heenan where do you think your going!?"
Ventura: "He is going to help his team Gorilla"
Monsoon: "He is going to cheat more likely"

Heenan goes to climb the apron but here comes Natalya...she pulls Heenan down and hits a nice clothesline. After a huge slam from Smith, Tama rolls to the outside and goes after Natalya. He grabs her by the hair, which, distracts Smith. Harry turns his attention to Tama, but Haku hits 3 headbutts to the back of Harry Smith's head.
Harry Smith is out! Here comes to official too count the 1, 2 and 3!

Monsoon: "What a miscarriage of justice! The Hart Dynasty were robbed!"
Ventura: "What are you on about? If Natalya did not put her hands on Heenan, they just may have won. This just shows a brain is more valuable than eye candy Monsoon!"
The Fink: "The winners of the match, but pinfall in 8 minutes...The Islanders!
Monsoon: "We will be back with Hulk Hogan!"

    -----------------Commercial----------------

Mene Gene: "Welcome back fans, my guest at this time 'The Immortal' Hulk Hogan! Hulkster, you have Arn Anderson tonight in the main event, how can you concentrate with the promise Bobby Heenan made last week?"
Hulkster: "Well ya know something brotha! I will have no problem concentrating tonight Mene Gene, you know why?"
    Mene Gene: "Why Hulk?"
Hulkster: "It is simple, I have 20,000 screaming, die hard Hulkamaniacs watching my back, the largest back in the world! So I think you need to get Bobby Heenan, Arn Anderson and the rest of the Heenan family and ask them one question brotha! What are they going to do when Hulk Hogan and 20,000 Hulkamaniacs run wild over them!?"

Monsoon: "Some strong words from the Hulkster. Let's head by to the ring"

The Fink: "This bout is a first round match of the Double Elimination Tournament to crown our first Intercontinental Champion. Introducing first..."
    [Insert Macho Man Theme]
The Fink: "Lead to the ring by his manager, 'The First Lady of Wrestling' Elizabeth. The 'Macho Man' Randy Savage!"

Ventura: "This is ridiculous Gorilla. Two weeks in a row now Elizabeth is incorrectly referred to as the First Lady of Wrestling!"
Monsoon: "Whats wrong with that Jesse?"
Ventura: "The TRUE First Lady of Wrestling will be out next."

    The Fink: "And his opponent..."
[Insert Dirty Deeds Eddie Gilbert Theme]
The Fink: 'Lead to the ring by his manager, Missy Hyatt...'Hot Stuff' Eddie Gilbert!"
Ventura: "That right there, is the First Lady of Wrestling Monsoon"
Monsoon: "You have the right to your opinion Jess, but that is what we call a Jezebel!"

    Match Description
The official clears the ring of Miss Elizabeth and Missy Hyatt as we are ready to get this tournament underway!
Gilbert and Savage lock up in the center of the ring and Randy after an exchange of holds gets a solid head lock take down! Eddie Gilbert, quickly is able to get his feet wrapped around the bottom rope for a clean break.
Both men start to circle before they lock up again, this time Randy hits a HUUGGEEE hip-toss, which sends Gilbert sliding under the bottom rope to the outside!
Eddie Gilbert goes to get some advice from Missy Hyatt on the outside while Randy asks Gilbert to get back in the ring! Randy Savage even holds the ropes for Eddie to enter the ring. Eddie takes him up on the offer and enters the ring.
Gilbert starts to trash talk Randy, but we can't quite hear what is being said. However Eddie points to Missy Hyatt, then points at Liz and Randy slaps Eddie Gilbert!
Randy charges at Gilbert who splits and jumps the top rope to the outside! The referee tried to stop Randy but he picks up the official and sits him on the opposite top turnbuckle. He the proceeed to chase Eddie Gilbert. They run around the ring, Eddie slides in and quickly gets up laying the boots to Randy Savage who slide under the bottom rope in pursuit.

Eddie Gilbert continues to beat down Randy Savage, working hard on Randy's leg taking some time to taunt the fans and Miss Elizabeth. Gilbert ascends to ropes to the middle turnbuckle pad and attempts to land a flying fist, but Randy moves out of the way! Randy uses to ropes to get to this feet. Eddie Gilbert charges at Randy Savage, but Randy pulls down the top rope and Eddie goes flying to the outside. The crowd goes nuts and Eddie Gilbert is in a frenzy.
Randy Savage climbs the top rope and goes to hit a double ax handle to Gilbert on the floor. He flies, but Eddie moves out of the way, hitting a punch to the mid-section.
Eddie Gilbert rolls back inside and insists the official lay a 10 count. The official stops his count at 9, as Randy gets half of his body back into the ring, BUT Eddie bounces off of the ropes and hits a sliding drop kick sending Randy back to the floor.
Savage gets to the apron by the count of 8 this time and Eddie signals to Missy Hyatt. Missy climbs the apron and calls over the official. Eddie Gilbert then goes outside to grab a chair. As Eddie brings the chair into the ring, Elizabeth made her way to the other side of the ring and pulls Missy Hyatt down to the floor. The referee turns around just in time to see Eddie Gilbert smash Randy Savage across the head with the chair. Instant Disqualification and this one is over at 15 minutes!

    Aftermath!
Eddie cannot believe it and starts to use the chair across Randy's left leg. Elizbath crawls into the ring and cover Randy with her body, begging Eddie Gilbert to stop. Gilbert goes to swing anyway, but stops. He signals to Missy Hyatt who gets into the ring and pulls Elizabeth off of randy by the hair and holds her there while Eddie Gilbert lodges Randy's leg into the steal fold up chair. He climbs the second rope and leaps, landing across the chair!

A group of road agents finally hit the ring and successfully get Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt to leave the ring as we go to a commercial break.

    ------------------COMMERCIAL----------------

Monsoon: "Here is some footage from the break, of Randy Savage being put on a stretcher. TO hopefully change the mood after that despicable act on the part of Eddie Gilbert and Missy Hyatt here is a video package of a Hardcore Legend.
    [Insert Terry Funk Hype Video]
The Fink: "This match is schedule for one fall...in the ring at this time Jeff Jarrett! His opponent...
    [Insert Koko B.Ware Theme]
    "The Birdman, Koko B.Ware!"

Monsoon: "Look at the people Jess, all doing the 'Birdman'!"
Ventura: "What a moronic dance, flapping their arms like a silly bird."
Monsoon: "Lighten up Jess, have some fun!"

    Match Description
Koko and Double J are about the lock up BUT...
    [Insert New Jack Theme]
Monsoon: "That is...that's New Jack from the hype video we played last week. What is he doing here?"
Ventura: "By the looks of that trolley he is here to clean the ring up"
New Jack has a Kendo Stick and starts smashing JJ and Koko! Now he grabs his guitar and is strumming it to his entrance music which, is still playing. JJ is getting up, oh wait, too late! New Jack destroys the guitar across JJ's head!

Monsoon: "Well this match has been thrown out, wait New Jack has a microphone"

New Jack: "I'm New Jack muthafuckas! The baddest ******** on the planet! As you jsut saw, I don't care about anyone in professional wrestling. I don't care if you the World Champion, work in the concession stands or some jobber. I will beat your ass down! There is one man, who can match hardcore with New Jack. The one man I respect in this industry. Oh yeah, that is Terry Funk. This man was won World Championship with wrist locks and arm drags, then won death matches. He defines hardcore, but I'm issuing a challenge. The Original Gangsta, New Jack against the Hardcore Legend Terry Funk. Hardcore rules at Summerslam! No arm locks and wrist locks, just kendo sticks, stable guns and a whole lotta blood! It is time for you to pass the torch, grandpa!"

    -----------------COMMERCIAL----------------

Mene Gene: "We are back once again, and this time I have Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan with me. I want to ask you, when or WILL you deliver the opponent for Hulk Hogan you promised last week?"
Heenan: "Who are you to doubt 'The Brain'? He will be here, don't you worry about that. I promise you, this man WILL defeat Hogan at Summerslam. That is if Hogan survive Arn Anderson tonight!
Mene Gene: "There you have it, back to Gorilla and Jesse!"

Ventura: "Gorilla, before we get back to business I have a special guest. All the way from Texas, to respond to the challenge from New Jack...Terry Funk!"
Monsoon: "Oh wow, good one Jesse. Welcome to Wrestling Challenge Terry!"
Funk: "Thanks Jesse and Gorilla. I want to make this quick. I have a heap of respect for New Jack. For all his faults he has heart and not only can he dish out a beating, he can take one as well. I will be here next week to confront New Jack, but will make it clear right now. At Summerslam New Jack...you are on!"
Monsoon: "You heard it here folks. Terry Funk vs. New Jack at Summerslam. Let go back to the ring with Mene Gene Okerlund!"

Mene Gene: "Ladies and Gentleman, my guest at this time. The NEW WWF Tag Team Champions, The Steiner Brothers!"
    [Insert Steiner Brothers Theme]
Mene Gene: "Last week you two men made history. You defeated The Brain Busters and then Doom to become our first WWF Tag Team Champions. That begs the question, who is next?"
Scott Steiner: "Well you know, we didn't come here for a easy ride Mene Gene. We are here to take on all comers, all competition."
Rick Steiner: "We may seem a bit over confident Gene, but that is only because we know what we are capable of as a team in the WWF"
    [Insert Fabulous FreeBirds Theme]
Monsoon: "What do we have here Jesse?"
Ventura: "Haha, here comes the Freebirds, Michael P.S Hayes, Terry 'Bam Bam' Gordy and Buddy 'Jack' Roberts."

Michael P.S. Hayes: "All comers huh? Well you wouldn't be offended if the Fabulous Freebirds, have a shot at those gold belts you have over your shoulders at Summerslam!? Freebird Rules off course"
Scott Steiner: "Freebird Rules, regular rules, we don't care. There may be three of you, but I have the largest peaks in the industry and my brother has the hardest head"
Rick Steiner: "At Summerslam boys, your wings are going to get clipped. Oof! Oof! Oof!

Monsoon: "Looks like we have another match set for Summerslam Jesse"
Ventura: "Rick has the entire crowd barking like a dog. I hope the Freebirds take those belts at Summerslam Monsoon!"

    ---------------COMMERCIAL--------------

The Fink: "It is time for the last match in the first round of the WWF Intercontinental Championship, Double Elimination Tournament. Introducing first, from Calgary...Alberta, Canada...Lance Storm.
    [Insert Lance Storm Theme]
Lance Storm: "If I can be serious for a minute..."
    [Insert Ricky Steamboat Theme]
The Fink: "His opponent, from Hawaii. Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat!"

    Match Description
Lance Storm and Ricky Steamboat lock up in the center of the ring and it is Steamboat with a classic, deep arm drag.

Monsoon: "Storm just hit his external occipital protuberance on the mat!"
    Ventura: "The external what?!"
Monsoon: "The back of his head Jess"

They lock up again and it is Storm who locks in a side headlock. Steamboat throws Storm into the ropes and another deep arm drag! Storm charges at Steamboat, but Ricky ducks down and hits a chop to the midsection.

Monsoon: "He hit him right in the breadbasket!"

Steamboat grabs a side headlock on Storm, but Storm slips out the back and trips Steamboat. He then dives onto a headlock of his own! Steamboat works his way to his feet and launches Storm off of the ropes. Storm hits a flying drop kick which, sends Steamboat to the outside and he hits his head on the floor!

Ventura: "That is great counter to the arm drag of Steamboat"

Steamboat gets back to the ring by the count of 7 and Lance Storm pounces. Storm dominated the match for the next 5 minute with an array of athletic moves and wearing The Dragon down with basic wrestling holds.

Ricky Steamboat starts to come back with some punches to the gut and some viscous karate chops. He hits a succession of arm drags and drop kicks. The Dragon climbs the top rope and laucnhes at Storm for an attempted flying cross-body but Storm ducks underneath. Both men get to their feet but Storm hits a Superkick! He then locks in his version of the Boston Crab, called 'The Maple Leaf' and Steamboat has no choice but to submit!

Ventura: "What an upset, Lance Storm has defeated Ricky Steamboat."
Monsoon: "Ricky is not out of the tournament however, this is double elimination rules."
Ventura: "Yes, he will face Eddie Gilbert next week on Wrestling Challenge, where the loser will be eliminated"
Monsoon: "While Lance Storm will fight Randy Savage"
Ventura: "If Macho can recover in time Gorilla!"
Monsoon: "Look at the respect shown by Lance Storm, shaking the hand of Steamboat"

    ----------------COMMERCIAL-------------

Mene Gene: "Welcome back, with me know is the man who just beat Ricky Steamboat, Lance Storm"
Lance Storm: "This is a new era, Okerlund! Ricky Steamboat is washed up, he doesn't have the tools anymore. I WILL be the I.C Champion when all is said and done!"
Mene Gene: "Looks like we got to see the true colors of Lance Storm, when Steamboat's back is turned. Back to you guys!"

The Fink: "Ladies and Gentleman. It is time for the MAIN EVENT of the evening. In the ring right now with his manager Bobby Heenan and his tag team partner, Tully Blanchard. 'The Enforcer' Arn Anderson.
    And his opponent..."

The Fink: "From Venice Beach, California. 'The Immortal' Hulk Hogan!"

Monsoon: "Here is the greatest professional athlete in the world today, and this place is going Bananas Jesse! They are hanging from the rafters!"
Ventura: "Scum Hogan is certainly over with the Pukeamaniacs Monsoon!"

    Match Description
Both men lock up and Hogan throws Arn across the ring like a rag doll! They lock up again, but it is Anderson witha go behind and he kicks Hogan in the back of the leg once, now he kicks him again and Hogan is down to one knee. Arn grabs Hogan's leg and attempts the figure four leg lock, but Hogan kicks Anderson into the turnbuckle pad! Hogan pops up and hits a huge suplex!

Monsoon: "Look at the entrance way Jess. That is The Islanders, Tama and Haku. What are they doing here?"
As The Islanders walk to the ring, Tully Blanchard jumps in the ring and unsuccessful attacks Hogan. The Islanders hit the ring and the numbers are too much. It is 1 vs. 4 in the ring! Heenan has pulled out a pair of handcuffs and the Heenan Family cuff Hogan to the top rope.

Monsoon: "What happened to the lights!? Jesse I can't see a thing."

The lights go out and a spotlight appears on the aisle.

Ventura: "This must be it Gorilla! Heenan promised it and he is here. Just wait Gorilla!"

We cannot tell who it is walking to the aisle, but there is a presence about him. The figure is hiding under a long robe and his face covered. The Heenan Family are smiling as this man enters the ring.

Ventura: "He is going to show his face Monsoon. Here it comes..."

Monsoon: "It that who I think it is?"
Ventura: "Yes, it is The Great Muta!"

The Great Muta walks over to Hogan and stares at him. Puts his hand to his throat and...
Monsoon: "What was that!? He just spit something into the face of The Hulkster!"
Ventura: "That is the green mist, Gorilla! Isn't it beautiful!"
Monsoon: "We are out of time, someone better get out there and help Hulk Hogan!"

    --------------------FIN-------------------

    Next Week on Wrestling Challenge...

Here is how the I.C Championship Tournament Bracket looks and hopefully this helps people understand how a double elimination format works.

Third show, something nobody has seen anywhere, will be post soon.

Another great episode. The matches were a little brief but the build up between them was great and you delivered here in a big way. I LOL'd so hard at that Hogan GIF and Hogans promo seemed very, very authentic. Loved Great Muta Green Misting Hogan, can not wait to see what this will lead up to. The IC title tournament has my interest peaked as well.

    Default Wrestling Challenge #3

Gorilla Monsoon: “Welcome Everybody to WWF Wrestling Challenge! They are hanging from the rafters Jesse!”
Jesse Ventura: “See what happens when you put all these people in a confined space with ‘The Body’?”
Gorilla Monsoon: “This place isn’t jammed packed for you Jesse, we have Ricky Steamboat taking on Eddie Gilbert where the loser is eliminated from the Intercontinental Championship Tournament!”
Jesse Ventura: “Last week we saw Bobby Heenan debut the man he claims will be crowded our First WWF Champion, The Great Muta. They are putting on a demonstration Monsoon!”
Gorilla Monsoon: “Yes Weasel Heenan is here and so much more so let’s get started…”

    Wrestling Challenge Intro
    http://youtu.be/LIPc_pLvwkI

The Fink: “This bout is scheduled for one fall and is the Winners Bracket of the Intercontinental Championship Tournament!

    Insert Lance Storm Theme

The Fink: “From Calgary…Alberta Canada. Lance Storm!”

Jesse Ventura: “Even I was shocked like everyone else when Lance Storm defeated Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat last week to get to this point”
Gorilla Monsoon: “It certainly was Jesse, but what disrespect he showed by bad-mouthing Steamboat after their match”
Jesse Ventura: “What do you mean? They shook hands, it was great sportsmanship”
Gorilla Monsoon: “Nooo, with Mene Gene later on, Lance Storm started saying Steamboat was washed up”
Jesse Ventura: “I must have dozed off, Mene Gene does that to me Monsoon”

    The Fink: “And his opponents…”

    RasslingFanatic’s music hits!

Gorilla Monsoon: “That isn’t the Macho Man’s music that is the music of our owner!”

RF: “I don’t mean to interrupt tonight’s show, but I have an urgent announcement regarding this match. I apologies for the short notice Lance, but Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage will not be able to continue on in this tournament due to the injuries suffered by the hands of Eddie Gilbert after Randy Savage’s victory over Eddie Gilbert last week. I know this decision is unpopular, but I gave Randy up to the last minute to prove healthy enough to compete... Why are you so happy Lance? Oh, you think you get a bye or something? Haha, no chance after the way you disrespected Ricky Steamboat last week. So allow me to introduce the replacement for ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage…well why don’t I let this person to the honors.”

    Insert Sunny’s WWF Theme Music

Sunny: “For those who don’t know…I am Sunny! It is my pleasure to introduce the NEXT Intercontinental Champion…my man, ‘No Gimmicks Needed’ Chris Candido.”

    Insert Chris Candido ECW Theme

Ventura: “This is ridiculous Monsoon! If ‘Macho Man’ Savage cannot compete, Lance Storm advances to the next round by no-contest!”
Monsoon: “I see nothing wrong with making Lance Storm earn his spot in the Finals!”

Chris Candido slides into the ring and quickly rolls-up Lance Storm who is complaining to the official! Storm kicks out after 1, then Candido sprints to the ropes, and Storm drops down causing Candido to jump over the top and he comes back off of the ropes again, but Storm leap-frogs Candido and then delivers a slap to Candido! Candido swings wild with a right hand, but Storm ducks underneath and grabs a waist lock, pushing Candido chest first into the ropes but Candido holds on and the momentum sends Storm flying onto his back, center ring and bouncing into the opposite ropes. Both men eye each other and bounce off of the ropes and they collide as both men attempt a flying cross body.
Candido and Storm get up quiet easily at the count of 5 and get ready to lock up again. Candido pulls Storm in for a side headlock and Storm immediately launches Candido off of the ropes. As Candido returns, Storm drops down, then quickly gets back up and lands a perfect super kick right on the chin.
Storm drags Candido to the middle of the ring and goes for a pinfall only getting a two count. Storm begins to aggressively work the leg of Chris Candido, taking over the next 5 minute of the match until,

Monsoon: “Looks like Storm is about to apply a variation of the Boston Crab”
Ventura: “He calls it The Maple Leaf, and it is game over for Candido”

Storm attempts to apply the hold but Candido has enough presence of mind to attempt s small package, for a 1 count. Candido uses the ropes to get to his feet and Storm waits on the opposite time of the ring. As Candido reaches his feet, Storm attempts the second Super Kick of the night, but Candido ducks and Storm is crotched on the top rope!

Monsoon: “He will be singing a little bit higher in the shower after that one!”

Storm steps over the ropes to the outside of the ring, as Candido recovers after taking a beating most of the match. Storm then catapults himself attempting a springboard clothesline, but misses as Candido falls to the ground selling his leg. Candido seems legitimately hurt and the referee checks on him, but Storm moves the official out of the way and goes to grab a leg, but Candido grabs his tights, pulls him in and clotheslines Storm over the top rope. Candido then school boys Storm and…1, 2, 3 that is it!

Ventura: “This is a miscarriage of justice Monsoon! Storm had no chance to prepare and it clearly cost him this match”
Monsoon: “Will you stop! Let’s get the official word”
The Fink: “Winner of this bout, advancing to the Finals, ‘No Gimmicks Needed’ Chris Candido!”
Monsoon: “While you continue crying over spilt milk, let’s see who is with Gene Okerlund!”

Gene: “Thank You Gorilla! With me right now, with his manager Missy Hyatt, ‘Hot Stuff’ Eddie Gilbert! Mr. Gilbert, what do you have to say for yourself after you put Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage out of action for who knows how long?”
Eddie Gilbert: “All I’ve got to say is if Randy Savage knows what is good for him, he will never return! However, I didn’t take out his knee because he beat me last week. Oh no! Honestly, I didn’t really want to hurt Randy Savage. What I did was defend Missy Hyatt, the true first lady of wrestling, making us the first true couple of wrestling.”
Missy Hyatt: “The best thing about last week was forcing the precious, Miss Elizabeth to watch your dirty work ‘Hot Stuff.’
Gene: “The fact remains you lost last week and if you cannot defeat Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat in tonight’s Main Event you are out of the tournament.”
Eddie Gilbert: “See last week was just a bad night for me. I let my emotions get the best out of me. Now that I let all of it out on Savage last week, I can pick apart the washed up Ricky Steamboat!”
Gene: “We will return with tag team action after this break!”

    ---------------------------COMMERCIAL--------------------------

Fink: “This is a tag team contest, scheduled for one-fall. Introducing first…”

    [Insert Jive Soul Bro]

“Lead to the ring by their manager, Slick! Ron Simmons and Butch Reed, Doom!”

Monsoon: “This team has really impressed me, especially considering how hard they pushed the Steiner Brothers in the Finals of the Tag Team Tournament”
Ventura: “Both of these guys are powerful and athletic, and with Slick in their corner it can’t be long for Doom to get a rematch against the Steiner’s!”
Fink: “And their opponents, lead to the ring by Nattie Neidhart. T.J Wilson and Harry Smith, the Hart Dynasty!”

    [Insert Hart Dynasty Theme]

Monsoon: “I love this combination. Size and speed!”
Ventura: “The also work well together, but Doom just has too much size and experience. Plus they have a real manager in their corner!”
Monsoon: “If I was trapped in an alley, I’d rather have Nattie Neidhart watching my back than Slick.”

Ron Simmons and T.J Wilson square off, but Simmons demands Wilson tag in Smith. Wilson looks out at the people and they cheer, so Wilson tags in his partner! Smith and Simmons lock up, and end up in the ropes as they cancel each other out, trying to show physical superiority. The official gets in between them asking for a clean break and…we get one. They go to lock up again, but Smith goes behind and grabs a waist lock. Smith holds on and pushes Simmons into the opposite ropes and uses the momentum to roll up Ron Simmons for a quick near fall! Simmons tags in his partner, Butch Reed. He wastes no time, charging at Smith who executes a hip toss. Reed charges at Smith again, but runs into a body slam! Reed slides to the outside to regroup as Smith fires up the crowd!

Ventura: “Smart move by Doom to talk it over with Slick and change the game plan”
Monsoon: “The only advice Slick can give his team is how to steal the guy in the front’s rows watch!”
Ventura: “Hey, wait one second. Slick has a great wrestling mind!”
    Monsoon: “Oh please…”

Butch Reed gets back into the ring and Harry Smith tags in T.J Wilson. They go to lock up, but Wilson slides under Reed’s legs, then drop kicks Reed who is able to keep his feet. Reed charges with a clothesline, but Wilson ducks. Reed charges again but this time attempts a big boot, which Wilson ducks under again! Then Wilson runs to the ropes, and springboard drop kicks Simmons to the floor. Wilson gets to his feet and his face meets with Reed’s boot!

Doom beat down Wilson for the next 5 minutes, with Harry Smith breaking up numerous pinfall attempts. Simmons tags in Butch Reed who climbs to the tope rope as Simmons prepares to slingshot Wilson. However Wilson kicks Simmons, who falls back first into the turnbuckles, sending Reed off of the top rope to the floor! Simmons who not the legal man attacks Wilson, but T.J executes a perfect drop toe hold. Wilson is still down selling the beating as Simmons gets to his feet, but Harry Smith clotheslines him to the outside!

Simmons and Smith continue to brawl on the outside, as Reed gets back into the ring. He picks up Wilson, who has nearly reached his feet and then calls for Slick to get onto the apron with his cane. Slick gets to the apron, as Reed holds T.J Wilson. Slick swings back, but Nattie Niedhart is there to grab the cane saving her team, then hits Slick with the cane. Reed drops Wilson to the floor and reaches through the ropes and grabs a hold of Neidhart’s hair and lifts her into the ring. Still holding her hair he backs her into the corner. Wilson, who is oblivious to what is occurring, gets to his feet and drop kicks Reed into Neidhart in the corner. T.J realizes what has just occurred and looks to help Nattie, but Reed hits a back suplex to Wilson. He climbs to the top rope and flies off, perfectly hitting his flying shoulder tackle finish for the 1, 2, 3

Fink: ‘The winners of this bout, Butch Reed and Ron Simmons…Doom!”
Monsoon: “Now that right there is a miscarriage of justice”
Ventura: “Have you gone Bananas? Nattie Neidhart had no place getting in the ring and she cost her team and her own health.”

    ----------------------------COMMERCIAL-------------------------

Gene: “We are back folks, and here we have Doom. Slick, how can you guys be proud of a victory like that?”
Slick: “All’s fair in love and war Gene. Nattie got herself involved in our business and when you get involved in our business, you might get hurt. If you get between us and the brass ring, you will get hurt!”
Gene: “I’ve had enough of these 3, back to the ring!”

The Fink: “The following contest is a…demonstration. In the ring at this time we have…Mike Justice. And lead to the ring by his manager, Bobby ‘The Brain’ Heenan, all the way from Japan, The Great Muta!”

Monsoon: “This is man is very lucky that Hulk Hogan is not here tonight after what he did last week, spitting that mist in his eyes”
Ventura: “If anyone is lucky it is ‘The Chump’ Hulk Hogan. We are about to see what damage The Great Muta could have done last week!”

The Great Muta takes his time to disrobe before this bout and his opponents seems like he regrets accepting to be a part of this. The competitors meet in the middle of the ring and immediately Muta spits the Green Mist in the face of Justice. He picks up his opponent and grabs his leg, displaying a Dragon Screw leg-Whip! Muta spits some more mist into the air as Justice gets to one knee. Muta then shows us the Shinning Wizard, then wastes no time locking in an inverted STF submission.

Monsoon: “Muta has locked in that STF to perfection.”
Ventura: “That right there is called the Muta Lock!”

Justice was already out from the Shinning Wizard and the referee is forced to ring the bell. Muta releases the hold as Heenan enters the ring.

Fink: “The winner of this bout…”

Monsoon: “Looks like the Weasel has something to say”

Heenan: “This man right here is going to be our first WWF Champion. Hulk Hogan, you are too slow to face The Great Muta. His feet are too deadly for you to handle. Just like this [points to the destruction behind him], even if you show up at Summerslam, our match won’t be a match at all. Just another demonstration! For the WWF it is just the beginning, but for you Hogan, it is the end!”

    Monsoon: “We will be back”

    --------------------------COMMERCIAL-----------------------

Gene: “With me at this time, Lance Storm. Lance, can we get your thoughts and the result of your match earlier tonight?”
Storm: “My thoughts? I prepared all week to fight Randy ‘Macho Man’ Savage, then with no notice what so ever I have to fight Chris Candido? If that wasn’t enough, not only did I get no time to prepare, but I fought someone who hasn’t wrestled here yet. He was fresh as a daisy! This is an injustice, it is unfair. I have one more thing to say and that is to Ricky Steamboat and Eddie Gilbert. You two are in a lose-lose situation, because the winner of the match has to face Lance Storm!”

    Gene: “Back to the ring”
    The Fink: “Introducing Terry Funk!”

    [Insert Terry Funk Intro]

Terry Funk: “Last week I was challenge to a match at Summerslam, by a man called New Jack. I accepted that challenge over the phone, but I prefer to do things in person. So New Jack, get your butt out here!”

    [Insert New Jack Intro]

New Jack: “Simply put Terry…I respect you for being a NWA Champion then becoming a Hardcore Legend, but that is just the reason why I have to fight you, and beat you. Terry Funk and New Jack, with all the rules thrown out, and the weapons thrown in”
Terry Funk: “We have got ourselves a match then. Now shake my hand to seal the deal”

    [Insert Raven Theme Music]

Raven: “The old man who is passed his prime and the not so older man, who never had a prime,
How can we have a battle of hardcore, without the leader of that Revolution?
    I want in!”
New Jack: “Whipping two white boys sounds more fun than just whipping one!”
Terry Funk: “Three Way Dance with Terry Funk? Be careful what you wish for boys! It looks like we have a deal!”
    Raven: “Quote the Raven Nevermore”

    ---------------------COMMERCIAL---------------------

Fink: “This next bout is a tag team contest schedule for one fall…in the ring at this time John Doe and Mr. X.

    [Insert Freebird Music]

Their opponents, Michael P.S. Hayes, Buddy ‘Jack’ Roberts and Terry ‘Bam Bam’ Gordy, The Fabulous FreeBirds!”

Monsoon: “So how do these guys decide which two are going to wrestle? Do they flip a coin or what?”
Ventura: “Of course not! They work as a team and find the best combination to beat their opponents”
Monsoon: “Well which, two members do you think will fight the Steiner’s at Summerslam Jesse?”
Ventura: “My guess will be the two men, starting this match. Terry Gordy and Buddy Roberts, with Michael Hayes in their corner”

Terry Gordy starts things off, with a big knee to the midsection of Mr. X, followed by a thunderous elbow sending his opponent to the mat. ‘Bam Bam’ tags in Buddy Roberts, then nonchalantly picks up Mr. X and locks in a Full Nelson as Roberts climbs to the top rope ad comes off with a double axe handle. Gordy then throws Mr. X across the ring into Mr. X’s corner then exits the ring. Mr. X tags in John Doe, and he locks up with Buddy Roberts in the middle of the ring. Roberts, locks in a side headlock, then takes Doe down to the mat. Roberts uses the ropes, and executes a knee to the throat. He then picks up Joe Doe, and sets up for his signature swinging neck breaker. Buddy Roberts hits it perfectly and goes for the pinfall…but he raises John Doe’s shoulders himself and points towards his corner. Roberts goes and tags in Terry Gordy. Gordy sets up John Doe for his Powerbomb finisher. He gets Doe up nice and high, then slams him hard into the mat and this one is over! 1, 2, 3…

Monsoon: “Very impressive Jesse, let’s get the official word…”

The Fink: “The winners of this bout, Buddy ‘Jack’ Roberts and Terry ‘Bam Bam’ Gordy, The Fabulous Free Birds!”

Ventura: “You may be impressed, but what The Free Birds displayed right then was just the norm. If you are impressed by that wait and see what they do to the Steiner’s at Summerslam!”
Monsoon: “There is only one way to find out and that is too buy a ticket, or contact your pay per view provider and see Summerslam! It is time for one more break, before our Main Event, Ricky Steamboat vs. Eddie Gilbert!”

    --------------------------------COMMERCIAL----------------------------

Gene Okerlund: “Welcome back wrestling fans. With my right now before Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat! If you cannot defeat Eddie Gilbert tonight you are out of the Intercontinental Championship Tournament, but if you win you get another chance at Lance Storm with a spot in the finals on the line”
Ricky Steamboat: “You summed it up quite nicely Mean Gene. I have no other option but to achieve victory tonight. However if I were to lose you won’t get any excuses, or any tears like you got from The Canadian Cry Baby, Lance Storm! If I lose a match, I keep my head up high and get ready to fight again, which is why I will always be the ultimate winner, while Storm is the ultimate loser.”
Gene: “How are you going to defeat Eddie Gilbert tonight?”
Steamboat: “All I need to do is be the best Ricky Steamboat I can be, and I know I will advance in this tournament and be one step closer to Summerslam!”
Gene: “Back to Gorilla and The Body!”

Monsoon: “Before we go to the ring, next week Hulk Hogan will be here to respond to the attack by The Great Muta last week and the words by Bobby Heenan!”
Ventura: “No, chump Hogan will be here to forfeit if anything”
Monsoon: “Yeah right, let’s go to Howard Finkel!”

Fink: “This next bout is the Elimination Bracket or the Intercontinental Championship Tournament and is schedule for one fall!

    [Insert Dirty Deeds]

Introducing first, lead to the ring by his manager Missy Hyatt, ‘Hot Stuff’ Eddie Gilbert!”

Monsoon: “What can I say about these two? What they did to Randy Savage was a disgrace and the fact they showed no sympathy, no remorse is even worse!”
Ventura: “What are you talking about? Eddie Gilbert is a great athlete, superb technical wrestler and Missy Hyatt is gorgeous”
Monsoon: “Gorgeous? Are you kidding me?”

    Fink: “And his opponents…

    [Insert Steamboat Theme]

    Ricky ‘The Dragon’ Steamboat!”

Monsoon: “Look at the determination on his kisser, Jesse”
Ventura: “There is no doubt about that, however I don’t think he is letting Lance Storm get into his head and that may cost him”
Monsoon: “That could also help him Jesse. The winner of this bout gets to wrestle Lance Storm next week. So I think wanting to get his hands on Storm, will be added motivation!”

Steamboat and Eddie Gilbert waste no time with a collar and elbow tie up in the middle of the ring. Gilbert quickly locks in a side headlock, but Steamboat wastes no time propelling Gilbert off of the ropes, and he runs into a deep arm drag from Steamboat. Gilbert attacks again, but another arm drag. Gilbert gets up and again and this time another arm drag, but this send Gilbert flying through the ropes to the outside. The crowd goes nuts, as Missy Hyatt runs over to check up on her man.

Monsoon: “Eddie Gilbert needs a new plan, because a few more of those arm drags and it is game over!”
Ventura: “Why do you think he left the ring Monsoon? To regain his focus”
Monsoon: “Left the ring? More like Steamboat sent him flying outside the ring”

Gilbert cautiously enters the ring at the count of 9 and Steamboat allows him to do so. The circle and then lock up once again, this time Steamboat with a go behind into a waist lock. Missy Hyatt, grabs the referee’s leg causing him to turn around, then Eddie Gilbert with a vicious low blow! Gilbert then gets ready to attempt his Piledriver finishing move, but Steamboat counters with a huge back body drop! An Eddie Gilbert slides back into the corner rather than attacking Steamboat.

Steamboat and Gilbert lock up again and Gilbert maneuvers Steamboat into the corner. The officials asks for a clean break and it looks like we are about to get one, oh no, Gilbert with a thumb to the eye. The official gets in Gilberts face, as Missy Hyatt uses the bottom rope to strangle Ricky Steamboat. Eddie Gilbert from then on takes over, pounding Steamboat for about 5 minutes. Eddie Gilbert then attempts his Piledriver finisher once again, but this time Steamboat takes out the legs sending Gilbert onto his back. Steamboat while holding Gilbert’s legs, flip’s over into a pinning predicament for a 2 count. Immediately Gilbert pops up and starts laying the boots into Steamboat taking back control over the match.

Steamboat crawls over to the ropes as Gilbert begins to taunt the crowd. Steamboat is hung over the middle rope, as Gilbert goes over to him. The official gets in the way because Steamboat is in the ropes. Gilbert complains, as Missy Hyatt comes over and slaps Steamboat across the face.

Monsoon: “Somebody needs to get that woman out of here!”
Ventura: “I’m sure Steamboat said something too Missy to deserve that!”
    Monsoon: “Are you kidding me?!”

Eddie Gilbert takes control once again, as it seems the odds will be too much for The Dragon tonight. ‘Hot Stuff’ tries a third time to hit a Piledriver, but again Steamboat takes the legs and this time slingshots Eddie Gilbert into the turnbuckle, but Eddie goes over the turnbuckle and hits his head on the ring post! Steamboat school boys Eddie Gilbert, but Gilbert kicks out at the count of 2. Gilbert gets to his feet, quickly as Steamboat is at his knee. Gilbert goes over to grab Steamboat, but is hit with a reverse knife edge chop, then another as Steamboat gets to his feet. Steamboat whips Gilbert into the ropes and hits a double reverse knife edge chop. Steamboat then charges at Gilbert and clotheslines him over the top rope to the outside and Steamboat goes over with him. As Gilbert hits the floor hard, Steamboat has held onto the top rope and ‘skins the cat’, back into the ring. The official begins his count, as Missy Hyatt attends to her man. The official gets to the count of 5 as Gilbert slides under the bottom rope, but then slides back out.

Monsoon: “Looks like Eddie Gilbert needs more time to recover. Wait a second, who is that jumping the barricade?”
Ventura: “Wait that is Lance Storm. Obviously scouting…”
Monsoon: “I don’t think he is scouting, he is getting into the ring!”

Lance Storm gets into the ring as the official has Eddie Gilbert keeps the officials attention. Steamboat turns around and, Storm with a Superkick! Steamboat is out and Storm slides outside and hides under the ring and then Gilbert quickly gets back into the ring and lies on top of Steamboat. 1…2…3!
Monsoon: “This is a true miscarriage of justice Jesse! Lance Storm had no reason to get involved in this match. Eddie Gilbert has to be the luckiest man on the planet!”

Ventura: “You know the old saying Gorilla?”
Monsoon: “Win if you can, lose if you must but always cheat?”
Ventura: “That works, but I mean it isn’t cheating if you don’t get caught!”

Fink: “The winner of this bout, advancing in the Intercontinental Championship Tournament, ‘Hot Stuff’ Eddie Gilbert!”

I would like to get some constructive criticism for the shows I am writing. Excuse the spelling and grammar, it takes time to put theses shows together and don't need to be going over the shows with a fine tooth comb like I do for University work.

Good buildup to Hogan vs Muta. Personally I could do with out the commentary during the match, but that's prolly just me. Good work overall

Probably the single greatest user made creative show I've ever read.

Another great episode, I loved it from start to finish. I loved Raven getting involved in Terry and New Jack and when New Jack cut his promo on Terry, I chuckled a bit because New Jack just doesn't get along with people named Terry. Great job on the main event, although I halfway agree with Rattle, the color commentary is great and all but it gets jumbled in the match action. Perhaps if you color coded the commentary it would distinguish it from the match action.

That is actually a good idea. I will try to make the commentary during the shows more distinguishable.

I appreciate that everyone is enjoying my work. Will try and get the next Wrestling Challenge and Summerslam up before I go to Sydney next weekend.
