^^^You have to keep in mind that Dixie doesn't have the "wrestling promotor" mentality because she was never involved in the business until she bought into TNA. This is the same woman who let Bobby Lashley compete in MMA while wrestling for their promotion in the short time he was there...let Jimmy Hart go into the Hall Of Fame back in 2005 when he was working backstage for TNA...let Hulk Hogan sign a deal for him to appear in the WWE All Stars video game while working for TNA. Dixie doesn't have problems or issues with wrestlers doing these outside things & outside projects. She's a nice lady but sometimes have to think she's "too nice" to be in the wrestling business compared to how other promoters would have acted like how WCW refused to let Jimmy Hart be in the Andy Kauwfman movie with Jim Carrey because WWE stars Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross were in the movie as well.

- The Ultimate Warrior is telling fans on Twitter that Vince McMahon asked him to be in the WWE Hall of Fame but he turned down the invitation.
A fan wrote that Warrior was never respected by his peers and needs that respect to be inducted. Warrior replied, "One peer's respect decides ALL - VKM. And I said no."
Another fan wrote in that other stars were much more worthy of the honor than Warrior. He replied, "Yeah, and none w/balls to turn VKM invite down like I already did."
Mattel will be releasing a new Warrior action figure in February as part of their WrestleMania Heritage series.
During a recent public appearance, Lex Luger was asked what being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame would mean to him.
"It would just be a tremendous honor if someday I was inducted in the Hall of Fame, but really, we're here to get down to glory to God now with our lives and serve others and use open vessels for him to bring people to Christ," says Luger, who in 2006 declared himself a born again Christian.
Lex continues, "But, would that be an honor? It's something that would also help to use as a platform to continue ministry as well. It would be wonderful, definitely."
**************************************.com reported last week that Luger not being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this year as part of the Horsemen clan stems from the events surrounding Miss Elizabeth's death, who passed away on May 1, 2003 in the home they shared. Her cause of death, according to the coroner's report, was "acute toxicity" brought on by a buffet of prescription painkillers and vodka. Many people in WWE blame Luger for her tragic death as he's seen as her enabler. Luger himself has admitted to being a negative influence on her life.
"I take a lot of responsibility for that—my influence in her life," he told ESPN.com in 2007 regarding his heavy drug abuse, which rubbed off on her during their relationship. "Her little heart and body couldn't take what I was doing."

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Ric Flair was actually informed of the impending induction of the Four Horsemen into the WWE Hall of Fame this year after receiving a telephone call from Triple H; however, the Impact Wrestling tapings that Flair was at had already concluded by the time the initial video announcement aired on WWE RAW SuperShow.
Flair and a number of other TNA crew were at a bar watching the Alabama vs. LSU football game when Flair received a text message from WWE Talent Relations EVP John Laurinaitis informing him when the video would be airing. Upon viewing it, Flair was in tears as he told his fellow TNA co-workers that he was happy for the other Horsemen being inducted, then vowed that he would be in attendance at the induction ceremony alongside them. Flair also stated that he knew he may catch heat from TNA management about his intentions.
As of this report, Flair is still expected to appear at the ceremony.
Boxing legend and pop culture icon “Iron” Mike Tyson will be inducted into the WWE's 2012 Hall of Fame class on March 31 in Miami, WWE announced to major media markets throughout the nation Monday. Among the most decorated pugilists in history, Tyson established his place in WWE lore in 1998 when he served as a special “outside enforcer” for the WWE Championship main event of WrestleMania XIV between Shawn Michaels and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
Long before his appearance on The Grandest Stage of Them All, however, Tyson made his name in boxing, initially taking the sport by storm in the 1980s. Within the first two years of his professional career, Tyson amassed a 22-0 record, winning 21 of those contests by knockout.
In 1986, at age 20, “The Baddest Man on the Planet” captured the World Boxing Council title to become the youngest heavyweight champion in history – a distinction that stands today. The very next year he became the sport’s first Undisputed World Heavyweight Champion, winning the top prizes in both the World Boxing Association and the International Boxing Federation.
The staredown between Mike Tyson and Steve Austin became an instant classic.Tyson’s first foray into sports-entertainment – a memorable appearance on Raw in January 1998 – produced one of the most indelibly chaotic scenes in WWE's history, as an icy staredown with “Stone Cold” Steve Austin dissolved into a wild pull-apart brawl. Often credited with ushering in WWE’s Attitude Era, that incident led to Tyson’s involvement in the WrestleMania XIV main event between Austin and then-champion Shawn Michaels.
Although all signs heading into the championship bout suggested Tyson would align with Michaels, the boxing great defied expectations, counting the pinfall that made Austin a WWE Champion for the first time. When Michaels disputed the decision, “Iron Mike” floored The Showstopper with a knockout right.
Upon his return to WWE in January 2010 as a special guest on Raw, Tyson officially competed for the first time in a WWE ring. Teaming with Chris Jericho against Michaels and his D-Generation X cohort, Triple H, Tyson surprised his teammate and revealed himself as an honorary member of DX. That night, it was Jericho who wound up on the wrong end of Tyson’s staggering punching power.
In recent years, “The Baddest Man on the Planet” has emerged as a looming figure away from the squared circle, performing scene-stealing cameos in The Hangover series in addition to running a clothing line and starring in a gaming app.
The WWE Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on March 31, the eve of WrestleMania XXVIII, at the American Airlines Arena. Alongside Tyson, WWE legends Edge, The Four Horsemen and Mil Mascaras have already been announced as inductees.
an interesting fact about tyson, he was scheduled to ref a match betweeen hulk hogan and macho king randy savage but he got knocked out by buster douglas shortly before the main event and replaced by buster
This morning, Dave Scherer wrote that Mike Tyson would be going into the WWE Hall of Fame this April. WWE officially confirmed that with this paragraph on their website:

- There's talk going around that Steve Austin will be the one to induct Mike Tyson into the 2012 WWE Hall of Fame from Miami.

Seems the most logical choice.
"We’re fighting because Anderson doesn’t want to fight me. Anderson trained with Munoz, he got destroyed by Munoz, he doesn’t want to fight Mark. Ed Soares, Anderson’s manager, worked diligently behind the scenes to make Mark and I fight each other. So I don’t have a big problem fighting Mark. my resentment is that Anderson got his way.”
