Backstory: Summer of 2011, Dixie Carter couldn’t take it anymore and sold her ownership to an unknown source. The mystery owner wasted no time in making an impact. The owner signed several talents including Paul London and Evan Bourne, and also brought back old familiar names like Petey Williams, Senshi, and Desmond Wolfe. There is a youth movement in TNA. Flash forward a few months and the ratings have been going through the roof and even got a new show going head to head with Monday Night Raw! The show is titled, Monday Night eXplosion Kurt Angle has been dominating over the past year, defeating everyone that has got in his way. Kurt retained the title at Bound for Glory against AJ Styles in a classic bout. For weeks we have seen vignette videos hyping “The War is Coming” No one seems to know who is behind this but the video promises it will be revealed on a special 3 hour edition of eXplosion!

Monday Night eXplosion video opens and the music hits along with the pyro as Mike Tenay and Mick Foley welcomes us ringside!

Tenay: Welcome ladies and gentleman to a very special 3 hour Monday night eXplosion! I am Mike Tenay alongside me is Mick Foley!
Foley: Thank you Mike, we have a huge show for you tonight, as the mystery owner will finally reveal themselves and also promises the biggest free agent signing in TNA history!
Tenay: I cant wait who do you think it is Mick?
Foley: I have no idea, all this time I thought I was the biggest signing in TNA history.

-laughs-

Tenay: Mick, hold that thought I am getting word that the owner has just pulled up in a limo.

-camera cuts the to backstage parking lot where the limo is parked but the mystery owner isn’t getting out.-

Foley: Well I guess we will just have to wait a little bit longer but we start the show with a nontitle match between the Tennessee cowboy and Mr. Anderson!

“Cowboy” James Storm vs. Mr. Anderson
Storm comes out first to a big ovation followed by Anderson to a mixed crowd. The bell rings and the two men lock up. Anderson gets the better of Storm and pushes him into the corner. The ref tries to separate them but Anderson sneaks in a hard slap to the face of Storm. Storm doesn’t like that as he charges out of the corner with a spear take down and mounts Anderson with lefts and rights. Storm picks up Anderson and hits a suplex and a quick pin!

Anderson kicks out! Storm picks up Anderson again and throws him into the ropes and lowers his head but Anderson puts on the brakes and kicks Storm right in the face. Anderson takes the stumbling Storm and hits a DDT. Anderson drags Storm over to the bottom rope and positions his neck on the bottom ropes and stands on the back of Storm’s neck choking him out. The ref counts to 4 and Anderson breaks the hold. Anderson is sizing up Storm for the mic check, Storm gets up and turns around and Anderson goes for it but Storm elbows out, and catches Anderson with the back stabber! Cover!

Anderson kicks out! Storm picks up Anderson and tosses him into the corner. Storm charges, but Anderson hoists him over, and Storm lands on the apron and connects with a running kick to the back of Anderson’s head! Anderson falls to the mat and the cowboy goes to the top rope. Anderson quickly gets to his feet and runs into the ropes causing Storm to fall. Anderson punches Storm in the head before taking him and nailing a spike DDT from the turnbuckle! Cover by Anderson!

Storm gets his foot on the ropes. Anderson looks frustrated as he picks up Storm and goes for a Russian leg sweep but Storm fights out again with the elbows. Anderson stumbles away, Storm lines up Anderson for the last call but Anderson moves out of the way and Storm almost kicks the ref but puts on the breaks. Anderson takes the distracted Storm and connects with the Mic Check!

Tenay: Mick, I’m getting word that the new owner is on their way to the ring!
Foley: Oh boy! This is what we have been waiting for, for weeks!

-Mysterious music plays over the PA system and out comes Paul Heyman!-

Tenay: Its Heyman! Paul Heyman is our new owner!
Foley: Hell Yeah Mike! Paul is an evil genius when it comes to the wrestling world!
-Heyman grabs a mic and gets in the ring while the hardcore fans are still going nuts-

Heyman: Is anyone surprised? Who else would have bought this company and make the moves that I’ve done without showing their face? I brought in new young people, got rid of the old washed up veterans that didn’t know when to hang it up. This is the era of Heyman! And in this new era, I signed the biggest free agent in wrestling history, I mean I’m really patting myself on the back about this one, and who might be this free agent you ask? Well lets just say, he will debut here, TONIGHT!

Tenay: WOW! Who the hell could it be?
Foley: I don’t know Mike but what a bombshell by Heyman!

Heyman: Oh, and guys in the locker room, I am saying this right now, I will NOT be pushed around. Don’t any of you get on my bad side because if you do, well lets just say I will make your time here miserable. Now enough with the talking, this show is based on WRESTLING, and unlike people up north, I listen to these people! Now on with the show!

-we see the “they are coming video” that has been playing for weeks

-We go backstage to JB with the Briscoes-

JB: Mark and Jay tonight you guys go head to head with Generation ME, and lets face it you guys know each other very well.
Jay: Well some people could say that our history isn’t exactly the Hardys against the Dudleyz, but back in ROH, back in the indies we went to war with each other for the tag team gold.
Mark: You know how those matches always ended? With us getting the 1,2,3 and tonight will be no different.
Jay: Motor City, after this win tonight, were coming for your titles!

The Briscoe Brothers vs. Generation ME
GenME comes out first to a decent ovation followed by the Briscoes to a mixed reaction. The bell rings and Jay and Max start things off. The two men lock up and Max hits an arm drag followed by a hip toss. Jay tries charging but gets met with a drop kick by Max. Max takes Jay and throws him in the corner. Max makes the tag to Jeremy and GenMe takes Jay and tosses him into the ropes and catches him with a double flap jack. Max picks up Jay in a cobra clutch type hold, and Jeremy runs off the ropes and connects with a drop kick to the face of Jay. Jeremy hooks the leg!

Jay kicks out! Jeremy picks up Jay and throws him into the ropes and catches him with a tilt awhirl back breaker. Jeremy goes spring board with a leg drop but Jay moves out of the way and tags in Mark. Mark stalks Jeremy and goes springboard with a clothesline. Mark picks up Jeremy and gives him a few chops before connecting on a snap suplex. Mark stomps at the face of Jeremy. Mark drops his fist across the face of Jay and covers!

Jeremy kicks out. Mark picks up Jeremy and hits a snap mare take over, and connects with a hard kick to the spine. Mark drags over Jeremy to the corner and tags in Jay. The Briscoes take Jeremy and Mark picks him up and goes for a side walk slam while Jay hits the leg drop combo! Cover on Jeremy!

Jeremy kicks out! Jay picks up Jeremy and tosses him into the ropes but Jeremy comes back with a tornado DDT! Both men are down in the ring, Jeremy crawls over to make the tag but Mark flies across the ring and knocks Max off the apron! Jay takes Jeremy and drags him to the middle of the ring and connects with a scoop slam and tags in Mark. Mark goes to the top rope and connects with the elbow drop. Cover again!

Jeremy kicks out! Mark cant believe it as he picks up Jeremy and tosses him into the corner. Mark starts choking Jeremy out in the corner with his boot until the ref pulls back Mark. With the ref distracted Jay starts choking out Jeremy from the apron. Mark makes the tag and the Briscoes throw Jeremy into the ropes but Jeremy comes back with a flying double clothesline! Max is going crazy on the apron waiting for the tag, Jeremy crawls and makes the tag! Max quickly goes spring board and hits a dual leg drop kick to both Briscoes! Max takes out Mark with a clothesine and does the same to Jay. Mark tries to attack Max but Max hoists Mark over the top to the ground below! Jay tries to sneak up but Max low bridges the ropes. Mark tries to help up Jay, but GenMe comes flying over the ropes with double cross bodies! Max rolls Jay back in the ring and goes to the apron. Jay gets to his feet and Max goes springboard and hits the X Factor! Cover by Max!

Mark breaks it up! Jeremy gets in the ring and tosses Mark back out of the ring. GenMe takes Jay and knocks him down with a double suplex. GenMe are stalking Jay to get up for the early on set alzheimers, just as Jay gets to his feet, Mark grabs the legs of Jeremy and pulls him out of the ring and bashes him head first into the post. Max gets distracted and Jay sneaks on him and drives him shoulder first into the ring post. Jay puts Max on his shoulders and Mark goes springboard with the doomsday device!

-We go backstage to JB with Desmond Wolfe-

JB: Desmond, tonight you face off against the Charasmatic Engima Jeff Hardy, this might be the biggest test of your young career.

Wolfe: You call this a test mate? This should be the easiest win of my career. Jeff Hardy is nothing but a stupid wanker who would rather color his hair than write his will, because hes not stepping in the ring with just a man, he is stepping into the ring with a wolf! I will tear him to shreds, limb by limb, bone by bone, Jeff Hardy will be no more after tonight. Stupid wanker clown.

-We go backstage to see Paul Heyman walking and seeing various wrestlers welcome him to the company until he runs into Kurt Angle.-

Angle: Hey Paul!, on behalf of the rest of these disrespectful punks, I just wanted to personally welcome you to TNA.

Heyman: Thank you Kurt, its be a long time, and by the looks of it, it seems your doing pretty great here, being the world champion and all.

Angle: Im the Olympic gold medalist Paul, no one can touch me, but speaking of being world champion, about this match tonight, is there any way we can just have me take the night off? I mean I do deserve it I beat AJ Styles time and time again.

Heyman: The match is already booked Kurt, but like you said, you beat AJ time and time again, tonight should be a walk in park Kurt. Tell you what I can do, I can ban Fortune from ringside, and after you win I got a special celebration for you planned. We can hit the town together.
Angle: Alright Paul, sounds good.

-Heyman walks off and Kurt seems displeased after not getting out of the match-

Desmond Wolfe vs. Jeff Hardy
Wolfe comes out first to a big ovation of boos. Hardy’s music hits an the crowd explodes! Jeff does his usual turnbuckle pose but Desmond quickly attacks him from behind. Wolfe is hammering away and Hardy and kicks him down into the corner choking him with his boot. Wolfe takes Hardy and picks him and hits a knee buster. Wolfe kicks at the knee and locks in a half boston crab. Hardy screams in pain but quickly gets the bottom rope. Wolfe picks up Hardy and gives him a few hard chops. Wolfe pushes Hardy into the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Jeff ducks it and bounces off the other ropes with a flying clothesline. Wolfe gets to his feet and tries to charge him but Jeff takes down Wolfe with a take down and spreads the legs and drops his legs in the crotch of Wolfe! Hardy goes for a quick pin!

Wolfe kicks out! Hardy picks up Wolfe and tosses him into the corner. Hardy tries to charge but Wolfe gets a boot up. Hardy stumbles away and Wolfe connects with a chop lock! Wolfe viciously attacks the knee of Hardy. Wolfe locks in the cloverleaf! Hardy screams in pain but reaches the rope! Wolfe breaks the hold and picks up Jeff. Wolfe goes to hit Hardy with a suplex but Jeff blocks it and hits a sitout suplex. Hardy uses the ropes to get to his feet. Hardy tries to go up top for the swanton but Wolfe quickly gets to his feet and charges Hardy in the corner. Wolfe delivers a hard uppercut and goes for the tower of London, but Jeff pushes Wolfe away. Wolfe turns around and comes charging at Jeff, but Jeff his a drop toe hold and Wolfe hits his head on the second turnbuckle. Hardy gets a quick roll up!

Wolfe kicks out! Wolfe gets to his feet and quickly kicks the bad knee of Hardy. Wolfe gets Jeff in a hammerlock and then hits a northern lights bridging suplex!

Hardy kicks out! Wolfe picks up Hardy and headbutts him into the corner. Wolfe charges but Jeff gets his boot up. Jeff uses all his power to jump up and hit the whisper in the wind! Both men are down in the ring and the ref starts to count. The ref gets to eight and the Hardy and Wolfe get to their feet. The two men exchange punches, Wolfe goes for a clothesline but Jeff ducks it and hits the twist of fate out of no where!

Sorensen comes out first to a decent ovation followed by Senshi. The bell rings and the two men go to lock up until Austin Aries’s music hits and out comes the X division champ and he comes ringside and goes to the commentary table to join Mike and Mick.

Tenay: Well we have an unexpected guest here as Austin Aries joins us.
Aries: I don’t need an invite to be out here Mike, I am the X Division Champion! Your lucky have me in your graces Tenay, so treat me with respect. I just came out here to get a good look on my new victim.
Foley:: Who you picking Austin to win this one?
Aries: I’ll tell you one thing Mick, it sure as hell wont be Sorensen, considering he would throw in the towel before he gets in the ring with me again after what happened as Bound For Glory when I squashed his dreams.

Sorensen and Senshi lock up and Senshi quickly delivers a kick to the face. Senshi takes Sorensen and throws him into the ropes but Sorensen comes back with a head scissors. Senshi gets to his feet and goes for a clothesline but Sorensen ducks it and springs off the ropes with a cross body! Cover!

Daniels turns around and Senshi flys but Daniels catches him on his shoulders and hits a death valley driver. Daniels goes to the corner and hits the BME! Cover!

Petey Williams hits the ring and takes out Daniels with a spinning wheel kick. Daniels gets to his feet and charges but Petey catches him with a drop toe hold. Petey takes Daniels and goes for the Destroyer but Daniels counters and goes for the angels wings but Petey bulrushes Daniels into the corner. Petey charges but Daniels hoists him over the top rope but Petey lands on the apron. Petey stalks and jumps over the top rope connecting on the code breaker. Petey quickly takes Daniels and hits the Canadian Destroyer! Cover!

Shannon Moore hits the ring and takes down Petey with a few clotheslines. Moore stalks Petey and goes springboard with a tornado DDT! Shannon sizes up Petey and goes for a DDT but Petey bulrushes him into the corner. Petey tries to hoist up Shannon but Shannon hits a hard uppercut that sends Petey stumbling. Shannon goes to the top and goes for the Mooregasm but Petey side steps and quickly takes Moore, and hits the Destroyer! Cover!

Petey points up two fingers implying he only has two more to win then mystery music hits and out comes Evan Bourne and the fans are going nuts as Petey looks shocked. Bourne hits the ring and takes down Petey with a round house kick. Petey gets to his feet and Bourne goes for a kick but Petey blocks it and Bourne hits an enziguri! Bourne picks up Petey and goes for a double underhook suplex but Petey counters out into a huricanrana and follows up with a spinning wheel kick. Petey takes Bourne and goes for the destroyer but Bourne fights out, Petey catches Bourne and tosses him into the ropes but Bourne springs off with a high knee to the face of Petey! Petey looks to be out when Bourne goes to the top and hits the Air Bourne! Cover!

Jay Lethal is the last one out. Lethal and Bourne shake hands before locking up. Bourne gets the better of the two and hits an arm drag followed by a hip toss and a running head scissors that sends Lethal out to the floor. Lethal gets to his feet and Bourne comes diving through the ropes with a suicide dive! Fans let out the “This is awesome” chants as Bourne rolls Lethal back in the ring. Bourne goes springboard but Lethal catches him with the Lethal Combination!

Bourne kicks out! Lethal takes Bourne and throws him into the ropes and catches him with a tilt a whirl back breaker. Lethal goes to the top rope and goes for the elbow drop but Bourne moves out of the way. Bourne quickly hits the standing moonsault and covers Lethal!

Lethal kicks out! Bourne picks up Lethal and goes for a snap suplex but Lethal counters out and hits a tornado DDT! Lethal sizes up Bourne and goes for the lethal injection but Bourne counters out with elbows. Bourne connects with a heel kick that sends Lethal into the ref. Bourne goes to the top but Petey comes back out and tosses Bourne off the ropes! Petey slides in the ring and hits the destroyer on Bourne! Petey slides out of the ring and Lethal gets to his feet and picks up Bourne and hits the Lethal Injection!

The ref comes to and counts!

Aries: I think I should go congragulate Jay and wish him luck in his furture title match.

Aries takes off his head set and gets in the ring and puts out his hand for Jay to shake. Jay hesitates, but Aries insists on it. After a few seconds Lethal shakes Aries hand and Aries raises Lethal’s arm. Jay starts to walk away but Aries hits Jay in the back of the head with the title belt! Aries picks up Lethal and hits the brainbuster! Aries grabs his title and walks up the ramp with a sick smile on his face.

-We see the “They are coming” video again-

We go backstage to Jb with Samoa Joe

JB: Joe, tonight you have a chance tonight, to defeat the undefeated Crimson, at one point you went undefeated for 18 months, what is it like walking around with that kind of target on your back?
Joe: Well everyone wants a piece, everyone is going to bring their a game and leave it all in that ring to defeat them. Unlike everyone else though I will defeat Crimson, I will break him in half, and destroy him. His 8 month winning streak aint sh*t compared to mine! Tonight I will show everyone that Crimson isn’t Samoa Joe, because theres only one Joe kid, and you bet your ass hes gonna kill you!

Crimson vs. Samoa Joe

Crimson comes out first and gets attacked behind by Joe. Joe rolls Crimson in the ring and starts pounding on him. Joe pushes Crimson into the corner and connects with the chops. Joe plants Crimson in the corner and starts facewashing him with the boots. Joe runs across the ring off the ropes and comes back with the ole kick! Joe pulls out Crimson and goes for the pin.

Crimson kicks out! Joe picks up Crimson and goes for a belly to belly but Crimson counters out and connects with one of his own. Crimson takes Joe and tosses him into the ropes and catches him with a huge spinebuster! Cover!

Joe kicks out! Crimson takes Joe and goes for a suplex but Joe counters out and hits a snap mare take over and connects with a big kick to the spine of Crimson. Crimson falls back to the mat and Joe runs off the ropes and hits a big back body splash! Joe takes Crimson and hits a few jabs before picking him up and hits a big powerbomb into a pin!

JB: AJ tonight you will face Kurt Angle for the TNA world title. After Bound for Glory this is your next and possibly last shot at the title whats going through your mind?

AJ: At Bound For Glory I was robbed of the title. I had Kurt beat but he had to use some dirty trick to beat me because he knows he cant beat me like a man. Kurt this is it. Tonight I will die trying to take that title away from you and put it back around the waist of a true champion. Kurt Angle (c ) vs. “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles

Angle is out first to a loud ovation of boos. The fans are going crazy waiting for AJ. His music hits and the place erupts. AJ stands on the ramp and takes off his hood before charging the ring and taking down Angle with the double leg takedown. AJ is hammering away with lefts and rights. AJ takes Angle and tosses him into the ropes but Kurt slides out of the ring instead hoping to regroup. AJ runs off the ropes and jumps over the top with a senton! “AJ” chants fill the arena as AJ rolls Kurt back in the ring. AJ goes to the apron and stalks Angle. AJ goes springboard but Angle catches him with a belly to belly suplex. Angle mounts AJ and delivers the lefts and rights of his own. Kurt picks up AJ and goes for a German suplex, but AJ lands on his feet and bulrushes Kurt into the ropes and gets a roll up!

Angle kicks out! AJ takes Kurt and goes for a snap suplex but Angle counters out and hits Styles with a nasty clothesline. Kurt stomps at AJ’s neck as Kurt picks him up and tosses him into the corner. Kurt punches AJ in the stomach likes he’s a body bag. Styles tries to fight out but Angle catches him with another belly to belly suplex. Angle hooks the leg!

AJ kicks out! Angle picks up AJ and tosses him into the ropes and lowers his head but AJ rolls over the back of Angle and hits a Russian Leg sweep. AJ goes out to the apron and stalks Angle. Angle gets to his feet and AJ goes springboard and connects with the flying forearm! AJ hooks the leg!

Kurt kicks out! AJ picks up Angle and hits a sitout suplex. AJ goes to the apron again and goes for the 450 splash but Angle gets his knees up! AJ holds onto his ribs in pain, and Angle quickly sneaks up on AJ and goes for the Angle slam but AJ lands on his feet and goes for the pele but Angle catches the leg and locks in the ankle lock! AJ screams in pain but rolls through sending Angle to the floor below. AJ regroups and runs off the ropes and hits a running shooting star press over the top rope onto Angle! “This is awesome” chants fill the arena as AJ picks up and Angle and goes to hit him but Angle blocks it and hits an uppercut before throwing AJ into the steel steps. Angle takes his title and heads up the ramp. AJ gets to his feet and runs after Angle. AJ catches him and throws him back down the ramp. AJ slides in the ring and breaks the count before going back to work on Angle. AJ picks him up and hits a suplex on the ramp! AJ picks up Angle and goes for another one but Angle charges him right into the guard rail. Angle throws AJ back into the ring and slides in. Angle gets in and gets behind AJ and hits a big German suplex. Angle keeps the hold locked in and gets to his feet and hits another one and another one before finally breaking it. Angle drapes his arm over!

AJ kicks out! Angle cant believe it. Angle picks up AJ and tosses him into the ropes but AJ comes back with a flying hangmans inverse DDT! Both men are down in the ring and the ref starts to count. The ref gets to five and AJ gets to his feet. AJ picks up Kurt and kicks him in the stomach and goes for the clash and hits it! Cover by AJ!

Angle kicks out and AJ looks shocked! AJ goes to the top rope but Angle gets to his feet and charges up the turnbuckle and hits a super belly to belly suplex! Angle makes the cover!

AJ kicks out! Angle pounds the mat as he picks up AJ and goes for another German suplex but AJ lands on his feet and hits an enziguri! AJ picks up Angle and goes for an Angle Slam but Kurt lands on his feet and hits the angle slam! Hook of the leg!

AJ kicks out! Kurt cant believe it and the crowd is going nuts! Angle picks up Styles and goes for another one but AJ again lands on his feet and hits the pele!

Both men are down in the middle of the ring. All of a sudden a masked man comes through the crowd and hits the ring. The masked man picks up Angle and hoists him on his shoulders and throws him in the air causing Angle to come down face first on the knee. The masked man takes off the mask and its CM Punk! The fans are going crazy! AJ gets to his feet and gets in Punk’s face for the DQ. AJ shoves Punk and Punk kicks AJ in the head and picks him up and hits the go 2 sleep!

Fortune hits the ring and surrounds Punk. Punk is backed in the corner until more masked men jump the guard rails and attack Fortune from behind! The masked men takes off their masks and its Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards, Jimmy Jacobs, Tyler Black, Roderick Strong, and Jimmy Rave! Fortune is out numbered as Punk slides out of the ring and throws in steel chairs. Jacobs takes the chair and nails Daniels over the head with it. Edwards and Richards pick up Bobby Roode and hit the Powerbomb/ back breaker combo. Strong takes Storm and hits the Gibson Driver! Black takes Kazarian and hits the Gods last Gift! Punk and his crew stand over the dismantled bodies with smiles on their faces as fans watch on in shock as eXplosion goes off the air!

Wow! What a show. Kurt VS AJ was action packed and I was shocked to see CM Punk show up! That was awesome. The matches were alll well written, I especially enjoyed The Briscoes VS Generation Me. The #1 Contenders Match for the X Division Championship was intense and it shows you put a lot of work into that match. Your use of GIFS really gives it a high quality one of a kind look and feel that is unmatched. Your presentation is flawless. Please please please keep up the good work.
