TNA will be taking a troupe of wrestlers over to India to tape the first footage for their planned debut on the Colors Network there. The wrestlers have been booked for seven days, including travel days, the week of 12/15.
I haven't confirmed names but was told it will be a mixture of known names and some independent wrestlers. Many of the performers will have new, original names and characters so there aren't any trademark or copyright issues.
As noted previously, the project will not be utilizing the TNA logo or name. Jeff Jarrett, Dutch Mantel, Rudy Charles and Dave Lagana have been working on the project. I've also confirmed Savio Vega has been signed to work as an agent.
I'll have more details as we confirm them.

What happened to All Wheels Wrestling? I guess it didn't last. Isn't TNA still involved with micro championship wrestling too? Don't spread yourselves too thin, and spend more time getting a second US show.
Chris Masters will be a part of TNA's India project set to start taping in a few weeks. Masters recently noted on his Twitter account that he is traveling to Nigeria and India later this month.

Guess the pilot didn't get picked up while the Micro thing was Hogan's side project that he used the Impact Zone for but nothing past that.

I agree. Spend your time creating a second show here in this market. TNA badly needs a second show to use there roster properly

I wish we could know some more of the names. I have feeling that is the way to scout people and people to get kinda in the doors of TNA.
The TNA India projected is backed by a major production company known as Endemol. The TNA offshoot promotion will be taping television this month and again in January that will air on the Colors network in India.
The point man for the project is Jeff Jarrett. Former TNA creative team member Dutch Mantell is involved in the creative end of the project, and former WWE creative team member Dave Lagana is in charge of the actual writing and formatting of the series. Former WWE wrestler Savio Vega, who also worked as a TNA agent, is helping train some of the Indian talent at Ohio Valley Wrestling.
The talent pool for the project is said to include Chris Masters, Chavo Guerrero, MVP, Cliff Compton, Nick Dinsmore (a/k/a Eugene), Sonjay Dutt, Shawn Daivari, and Arya Daivari. Plus, the show will also feature the Indian talent that is being trained by Vega.
There was a notable Indian celebrity that was attached to the project, but the man had to back out due to medical reasons. With the celebrity out of the picture, the decision was made to bring in Matt Morgan and Abyss to add more star power to the roster.
The original plan was to use a lot of TNA undercard talent on this project. While some undercard wrestlers may still be used, it appears that the addition of Morgan and Abyss may have led to a change in plans for some of the undercard talent.
Former WWE wrestler Carlito Colon is rumored to be involved with the project, but sources could not confirm that he will be working the tapings. Pro Wrestling Dot Net has also heard Bobby Lashley's name attached.
