Chris looks up at Gabrielle as she wipes away his tears, as she does so he places his hand on hers. As his skin touches hers, he gets goosebumps on his arms as time around them seems to stop.

Chris Kennedy: We were more than amazing, Gabrielle. The year I spent with you was the happiest I have ever been in my entire life. You have no idea what I would do to get that back.

Jennifer: Well ty but i don't know your name yet. Well yes i'm the newst addition, and i hope to make it. I have heard that it's a tough company to be in, but i'll do my best.

-Jennifer smiles at both guys, before she brushes her hair back behind her ears-

She smiles and turns her hand to hold his firmly.

Gabrielle: I know Chris...but you cant...I cant have that. Even though right now part of me wants to take you back, that part of me that still cares for you I just, I cant allow that.

Despite her words she still holds onto his hand.

Chris Kennedy: I...I know that. As much as it hurts, it's all my fault and I need to deal with it. I don't deserve you.

Overcome by her beauty in front of him, he kisses her hand softly without actually thinking about it.

Chris Kennedy: I'm...I'm sorry about that. I was kinda lost there for a second...

[Engaged To Ouellet]

Gabrielle freezesfor a moment, overcome with memories of their lustful romance before she finally withdraws her hand.

Gabrielle: You do Chris...the man you can be deserves me, but the man you are made it so it cant be so. I just want to know that the man standing before me now is who you really are, I want you in our childs life but only if you're a better father than you were a boyfriend to me. But dont take that the wrong way...we did have some great times together.

Chris Kennedy: It would be easy for me to sit here and tell you I've changed, and given the look in your eyes you would believe me, you want to believe me. But I am not going to tell you that I have changed, I'm going to show you. Everything I have, even this Club, belongs to you know. I'm even willing to forfeit my title match with Duke to show you that I put you above my in-ring career. I just want to be a part of my childs life, even if you go the rest of your life hating me, I at least want our child to think of me as the greatest daddy in the world, not the man who sends in a child support check every month.

Gabrielle: Thats what I want Chris...I want our child to be happy, to know that it has loving parents. I tried too, I thought about it but I just couldnt bring myself to accept that our son or daughter would grow up hating their own father. You're going to be there for them...but us...you cost me that belt and now I may never compete again...but I'm too weak to ask you to give your shot up Chris. It wouldnt change anything.

Chris gives an understanding nod. He seems as if he is about to say something but stops and changes the subject.

Chris: I'm extremely thankful that we can agree with each other on that. Well, the reason I asked you here was to let you know that the club belongs to you, it's one of my most profitable assets. I don't think I'll be spending too much time in here much longer anyway.

he looks at the bottle of Brandy on his table

Chris: Too many temptations...

and then looks at Gabrielle, taking in every inch of her with his eyes

Chris: ...too many memories.

Juan:Hon we're the Cuban Connection. We are the soon to be Tag Team champions! You know me and Joey would be happy to give you some pointers on how to succeed around here.

Gabbys delicious caramel turns a rosey red as she blushes under the gaze of Chris.

Gabrielle: Chris...you dont have to do that...I wouldn't even know what to do with a club...

Seriously Chris you don't have to give up everything...I don't want our child wondering why mommy has so much and daddy's left out in the cold...

Chris grins

Chris Kennedy: I'll get by. Look, the life I had before, I don't want it anymore. The only part of it that I do want, I can't have. And if you think I am going to be left out in the cold, you should see the contract they resigned me to. Robinson was practically crying when I signed my name on the dotted line.

Gabrielle: Yes I've seen your new contract...

Matts still trying to work out just how you got such a big deal. But still Chris I dont want you giving up everything, I dont love you but I still care about you. We both have many memories here...that hottub...

Chris Kennedy stands up and walks closer to Gabrielle, getting closer to her than he has been in months.

Chris Kennedy: As you wish, Gabbie. I still want to give you enough to where you can give our child the very best. And the Hot tub, yes...there are some pretty good memories there. And this table behind me, the Red Room down the hall, the rooftop, I believe that bathroom over there was where we first made love. Lots of memories.

Gabrielle blushes further.

Gabrielle: I'll always miss that passion Chris...and your smile whenever I'd catch you gazing at me...
