FCW TV Report 12/11/11
We are live on tape from Tampa, Florida and your announcers are Chris ‘The Wild Announcer’ Russo and Byron ‘Wouldn’t be seen in one of David Otunga’s sweaters’ Saxton.
Chris talks about Husky Harris while Byron mentions the main event this week between Richie Steamboat and Seth Rollins.
Match Number One: Damien Sandow versus Dean Ambrose in an FCW 15 Title Match
The crowd isn’t sure who to root for, if anyone, before the match since neither of them are favorites among a majority of the people in the FCW Arena.
They lock up and Sandow with a hammer lock but Ambrose with a reversal and Sandow goes to the ropes and Ambrose with a clean break. They lock up again and Ambrose with a side head lock but Sandow rolls through to escape the hold. Sandow with a side head lock but Ambrose escapes. Sandow rolls away from Ambrose. Ambrose claims to be the God of Wrestling.
Ambrose with a wrist lock but Sandow with a punch and reversal. Sandow and Ambrose exchange punches but Ambrose with a kick and more punches and then he rubs his forearm across Sandow’s face. Ambrose then rubs Sandow’s eyes across the ropes. Ambrose with a back rake and then he rakes the chest and follows it with a chop. Sandow with a boot to Ambrose followed by a forearm to the back and boot laces across the face.
Sandow with a snap mare followed by a leaping knee drop for a near fall. Sandow tries for a slam but Ambrose escapes and then he takes Sandow to the mat and punches him. The referee warns Ambrose and then he chops Sandow in the corner.
Ambrose with a head butt as he controls the pace of the match and then he chokes Sandow with his boot. Ambrose with a forearm to the back and then he sends Sandow into the turnbuckles before going across the ring to do the same thing. Ambrose with a kick to Sandow, but Sandow with knees to the head.
Ambrose chops Sandow in the corner and then he punches Sandow until he is pushed off. Ambrose mounts the turnbuckles again but Sandow pushes him away and goes into the ropes to get the referee to stop Ambrose. Sandow with an elbow to the head. Sandow with knees to the midsection as he comes off the ropes and then Sandow sends Ambrose into the mat.
Sandow with a front face lock but Ambrose with a back body drop and then Ambrose clotheslines Sandow over the top rope to the floor. We have hit the five minute mark in the match and Ambrose goes to the floor but Sandow with a double thrust to the throat and then Sandow Irish whips Ambrose into the ring apron and then into the guardrails. Sandow sends Ambrose face first into the ring steps.
Sandow waits for Ambrose to return to the ring but Ambrose has trouble getting into the ring. Ambrose gets to the apron and Sandow stops the count and with the referee out of position, Ambrose pokes Sandow in the eye. Sandow responds with a running shoulder tackle that sends Ambrose off the apron and into the guardrail.
Sandow rolls to the floor and he sends Ambrose back into the ring. Sandow with front face lock into a swinging neck breaker for the three count.
Sandow 1 Fall, Ambrose 0 Falls 7:59 Remaining in Match
Sandow has something to say to Ambrose after getting the pinfall. We go to commercial while the referee checks on Ambrose.
We are back and there is a little more than five minutes left in the match and Sandow still holds a one fall lead. Sandow with a quarter nelson and chin lock. Ambrose with punches but Sandow punches back. They continue to exchange punches. Sandow goes for the knee and we are now under five minutes to go.
Sandow with a head butt to the kidneys and then he puts Ambrose in a full nelson and sends Ambrose’s head into the turnbuckles. Ambrose signals that he wants more from Sandow and Damien obliges. Ambrose holds his arm and Sandow kicks him in the shoulder. Sandow kicks Ambrose and then Ambrose gets up and wants more. Ambrose with punches to Sandow followed by chops.
Ambrose sends Sandow to the floor and Ambrose follows. Ambrose returns the favor from earlier in the show by Irish whipping Sandow into the guardrail and apron. Ambrose then sends Sandow into the ring steps.
Sandow is sent back into the ring and Ambrose follows and we are down to three minutes in the match. Ambrose tries to put Sandow in the Regal Stretch but Sandow gets to the ropes. Sandow continues to get to the ropes. Sandow kicks Ambrose away and then Sandow with a head butt into the midsection. Ambrose tries for the Midnight Special but Sandow escapes the hold. Ambrose gets Sandow up again but Sandow is able to get to the apron as we move into the last one hundred seconds of the match.
Sandow with a forearm from the apron and then he goes up top. Ambrose punches Sandow on the top turnbuckle and then Ambrose climbs up top but Sandow pushes him off. Sandow tries to remove the turnbuckle pad while the referee checks on Ambrose. The referee sees what Sandow is doing but Sandow still takes it off and Sandow claims that it fell off.
We are now in the final minute of the match and Ambrose is still down on the mat. Sandow tries to send Ambrose into the exposed turnbuckle but the referee jumps in the way and potentially costs Ambrose a chance to tie the match due to a likely disqualification. Sandow tries to do it again but Ambrose stops him. Ambrose sends Sandow into the exposed turnbuckle and the referee calls for the disqualification.
Sandow 2 Falls, Ambrose 0 :35 Remaining in Match
Ambrose and the referee discuss the situation and Ambrose figures that since there is not enough time to get three falls, he sends Sandow into the exposed turnbuckle one more time and the referee disqualifies Ambrose again.
Sandow 3 Falls, Ambrose 0 :10 Remaining in Match
Ambrose yells at Sandow as time runs out.
Winner: Damien Sandow (3 Falls to 0 Falls)
After the match, Ambrose attacks Sandow and sends him into the exposed turnbuckle repeatedly and Sandow falls to the mat. The referee leaves the ring while Ambrose kneels over Sandow. Ambrose takes the medal and he puts it around Sandow’s neck. Ambrose then puts Sandow into the Regal Stretch.
The referees try to pull Ambrose off Sandow.
We go to commercial.
Naomi Knight versus Audrey Marie for the FCW Divas Title
They lock up and Naomi with a side head lock take down but Audrey with a rollup for a near fall. Naomi with another side head lock take down but Audrey rolls through to escape. Audrey with an arm drag followed by an arm drag by Naomi. Naomi with a hammer lock but Audrey with elbows. Naomi with a forearm of her own.
Audrey floats over and gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Naomi floats over and gets a near fall with a rollup. Naomi with a side head lock into a hammer lock. Audrey with a reversal into a side head lock. Audrey with a cartwheel to avoid Naomi and Naomi kips up. Naomi tries for a round kick but Audrey with a Matrix and then she avoids a leaping butt bump from Naomi. Audrey takes advantage of Naomi telegraphing a move with her shoulders on the mat and she gets a near fall.
Audrey with a forearm followed by a side head lock take down. Audrey gets a near fall. Audrey tries for a Dragon sleeper but then she applies a rear chin lock. Naomi with punches but Audrey with a knee to the midsection and she gets a near fall. Audrey with a reverse chin lock. Audrey with a leg drop for a near fall. Naomi with punches and forearms followed by a snap mare and kick to the back.
Naomi lands on her feet on a hip toss attempt and then she hits an enzuigiri and both women are down. Naomi with a drop kick after Audrey misses a clothesline. Naomi with a rollup for a near fall but when Audrey kicks out, she sends Naomi into the ropes and she hits a Sliding D followed by a spinning heel kick for a near fall.
Naomi with an Irish whip and Audrey with a cross body off the turnbuckles but the momentum sends Naomi on top of Audrey but Audrey kicks out. Audrey blocks a suplex attempt and gets a near fall with a rollup. Naomi rolls through into a bridge for a near fall.
Audrey with a jackknife cover and the referee appears to have made the three count, but the match continues. Naomi with a kick and then she tries for a suplex but Audrey lands on her feet and hits the elbow drop for the three count.
Winner: Audrey Marie
We go to commercial.
During the commercial break we get a vignette of Briley Pierce and Brad Maddox at the beach with their title belts. Brad figures that they should spend some time together since they are the champions. Briley wants to know why they are at the beach and Brad says that it is because they are in Florida. They have some awkward conversations where we find out that Briley is not a football guy. Briley asks Brad what type of music he likes and he says anything but techno. Brad asks Briley what kind of music he likes and Briley says that he likes techno. They decide to go get some pizza but Briley almost leaves the belt at the beach, even though they leave their towels.
Match Number Three: Leakee versus Mister Antonio Cesaro
They lock up and Leakee pushes Cesaro away. They lock up again and Cesaro works on the arm and applies a front face lock but Leakee with a wrist lock followed by a knee drop to the arm. Cesaro with a wrist lock that takes Leakee to the mat and Cesaro with an arm bar and wrist lock. Cesaro takes Leakee down by the hair and he fights off a head scissors attempt. Leakee with a reversal but Cesaro with an arm drag to try to escape. Leakee holds on to the arm bar. Cesaro goes to the ropes to get Leakee to break the hold and he punches Leakee. Cesaro with an arm bar. Leakee continues to focus on the shoulder.
Cesaro with a European uppercut that sends Leakee to the mat and he follows with an elbow drop. Cesaro with a forearm to the neck but Leakee with a forearm. Leakee with a flying forearm and then he hits a splash into the corner followed by a short arm clothesline.
Leakee tries for the spinning bulldog but Cesaro pushes him off. Leakee goes to the turnbuckles for a cross body but Cesaro moves out of the way. Cesaro with a La Magistral and some help from the tights to get the three count.
Winner: Mister Antonio Cesaro
We go to commercial.
Match Number Four: Richie Steamboat versus Seth Rollins
They lock up and Steamboat with an arm drag. They lock up again and Steamboat with another arm drag. Rollins with a waist lock take down. Steamboat gets to his feet and he elbows Rollins. Rollins with a chop and then he blocks a kick and gets a near fall after a back heel sweep.
Steamboat with a side head lock and he holds on when Rollins tries to send him off the ropes. Rollins tries to get out again and Steamboat holds on again. Rollins tries for a belly-to-back suplex but Steamboat shifts in the air and counters into a lateral press for a near fall. Steamboat with a shoulder tackle and Rollins rolls to the apron.
Steamboat gets a near fall. Steamboat with a reverse chin lock and he tries to wear down Rollins. Steamboat with a knee and a side head lock take down. Steamboat with a knee and slam to Rollins followed by a forearm to the forehead for a near fall. Steamboat with a reverse chin lock.
Rollins punches Steamboat to get out of the hold. Steamboat with a hard Irish whip and then he has something to say to Rollins. Steamboat gets a near fall and then he returns to the reverse chin lock. Rollins with a jawbreaker. Rollins with a flatline into the turnbuckles and then he punches Steamboat. Rollins with a flying forearm and then he gets his knee up when Steamboat charges into the corner. Rollins goes to the second turnbuckle and hits a tornado move into a suplex.
Rollins kips up but he appears to have tweaked his knee a bit. Rollins with a forearm into the corner followed by a back heel kick. Rollins misses on a curb stomp but he is able to clothesline Steamboat over the top rope to the floor. Rollins with a suicide dive onto Steamboat on the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Rollins and Steamboat are battling on the turnbuckles. Rollins with head butts to counter Steamboat’s chops. Rollins with a superplex for a near fall. Rollins gets to his feet first and he tries for the buckle bomb but Steamboat stops him. Steamboat with the wrap around clothesline for a near fall.
We go to the Gorilla position and we see footage of security outside the building making sure that nothing happens with Husky Harris.
Steamboat kicks Rollins in the corner and then he climbs on the turnbuckles to punch Rollins. Steamboat celebrates and that allows Rollins to hit a buckle bomb and he gets a near fall. Rollins goes to the apron for the springboard clothesline but Steamboat moves and Rollins tweaks his knee again.
Steamboat kicks Rollins in the back of the knee to ground him. Rollins gets up but Steamboat kicks Rollins again and he hits a DDT to the knee.
We cut to the parking lot where Husky Harris has parked illegally and he attacked two members of the crack FCW Security staff. Harris makes his way into the building and he has a bullrope.
Steamboat has Rollins in a figure four leg lock and Harris makes his way to the ring and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Richie Steamboat by disqualification
After the match, we see Maxine freaking out at ringside calling for people to break this up. Wrestlers come to the ring, but they are not going to break it up. They are going to let Harris and Steamboat go at it in the ring.
We go to credits.

This card was stacked and worth watching. Rollins vs Steamboat is always a good match up. Cesaro vs Leakee needed more time to get going, so it was a low point but not bad. Ambrose vs Sandow was just two guys wailing away at each other for 15 minutes. It was pretty good, but probably not for everyone. Ambrose throwing the match at the end was a good finish.
