    Default 1/19 Impact Discussion

Don't miss Thursday's TNA IMPACT WRESTLING broadcast on SpikeTV at 9/8c as the road to the February "Against All Odds" continues! Who will get the shot at the World Heavyweight Championship at the PPV? What will Sting decide? If you can't watch it on Thursday night, make sure to set your DVR to record it so you don't miss any of the Total Nonstop Action!

Here is a preview of Thursday's broadcast:

    - After beating Kurt Angle, "Cowboy" James Storm is the new #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship! Storm will be on Thursday's broadcast to talk about finally getting revenge on Angle, and his pending rematch for the World Title against former friend and tag team partner, current champion Bobby Roode!

    - Speaking of Roode, he was able to retain the title against Jeff Hardy (thanks to another assist by Bully Ray). How will Hardy react to getting cheated out of his chance at reclaiming the World Title? Is "The Charismatic Enigma" about to take his war with Roode to a whole new level? Tune in Thursday night to find out!

    - AND…what will "The Icon" Sting have to say about Roode's actions in the bout against Hardy? Will the General Manager address the World Title controversy on Thursday's broadcast?

    - Also on IMPACT WRESTLING, there will be a Knockouts Steel Cage Match as Mickie James battles Madison Rayne inside the unforgiving steel structure! Is Mickie James about to go "Hardcore Country" on the princess of the Knockouts Division, Madison Rayne?

    - Plus, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles will take on Gunner (with "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair) on Thursday night! Will Styles become the latest victim of Gunner, or will "The Phenomenal One" put an end to Gunner's path of destruction?

All this and much more on Thursday's IMPACT WRESTLING broadcast on SpikeTV, plus more news on the upcoming "Against All Odds" Pay-Per-View event!

Not bad so far, two matches in the first half an hour. Glad to see AJ didn't get "taken out " by Gunner, be a shame to see someone with his talent job to that extent to Mr Midcard himsef. The Magnus /Crimson match could have had potential if it hadn't got cut so short.

I'm pretty sure Eric and Angelina had a "wrestling" match before if you know what I am saying lol.

That is X-Division segment was amazing because it is probably two of best mic on mic in TNA. Impact has been pretty good so far tonight the knockouts match was good and I am liking where they are going with Joe and Magnus.

Agreed. Pretty good show so far. Knockouts cage match was good, x-division segment I agree was fantastic, best back-and-forth promoing I've seen in TNA in awhile. But that Angelina-Eric Young "match" was just dumb and pointless.

I loved Aries first comment about Shelley coming out with "look what the cat dragged out". They just have really good chemistry together in the ring on the mic or wrestling and at any PPV these two will steal the show I don't care what else match is on the card. To me this will be the feud that takes the x-division rebirth or what you call it to the next level. People are saying everything about Jeff Hardy and everything about his past and not deserving a chance but he is proving to everyone he does but not right now imo. What I would do with Jeff Hardy is bring Anderson or Bully Ray in to attack him at AAO or after let them a good feud with each other.

They're setting up for a fatal four way at the payforview, that much is obvious. Roode, Storm, Hardy, and Ray.

It looks like they are setting up Sting vs Bully Ray and Roode vs Storm vs Hardy.

Nah, I think Sting's in ring days are just about over, at least I don't think he'll make one of his few remaining matches with Bully, wouldn't do anything for anyone career wise at this point. Remember his last match is in London on the upcoming tour, or at least his last match in Britan I think?

I think Sting and Bully will have a match at some point maybe at the tapings coming on then I think Storm and Roode needs to have a long feud and Bully and Hardy have a feud.

I can see those two fueds branching out of the main event at the pfv if they do the 3 or even 4 way . I get the feeling any remaining matches Sting has will be against higher card guys like AJ, Abyss, Joe. I'll be shocked if his last match isn't against Flair.

I can see Flair vs Sting again. I wouldn't mind Jeff Hardy vs Bully Ray at Lockdown would be pretty good match imo and Roode vs Storm in a single match or captains for Lethal Lockdown.

    I don't want to see a 3-way or a 4-way for the World title.
That title should never be decided in a 3-way, the only place for a 3-way is in a porn movie or my fantasies.
Usually when a 270 pound man hits you with a baseball bat you go down, not fall out of the ring and run away.

I enjoyed this edition of Impact!

I thought that Shelley and Aries worked really well together in their segment!

I'm looking forward to seeing these two squaring off!

I like the chemistry between Eric Young and ODB, they always make me laugh!

Gunner and AJ to me seemed to be a waste of AJ and Flair's time!

I fail to see why they are building him up so much!

Gunner isn't bad in the ring, but he just bores me!

As a fan watching at home I cannot believe he is a threat, and he shows no personality and he is dull on the mic!

Crimson and Magnus put on a good, solid match! I like the way Crimson got the pin!

The heat is really starting to build up with these two teams.

I was really impressed with the Mickie/Madison match!

Both women worked hard in the match and it was good to watch!

The main event was also a really good match!

I thought Hardy and Storm had good chemistry together, and worked hard and kept the action coming.

    That was the match!

The finish however was just stupid!

To have Roode come out and blow the match, which was a really good one, just didn't do it for me!

Yes they want to build Roode as a Heel and get lots of heat on him, yes they want to build him as a champion who will win at whatever cost but it just doesn't sit well with me!

But all in all it was a good episode and I enjoyed watching it!
