New Feature: Members may change their own usernames once every 30 days! (Version 2)

Hello all,

I have re-added a way for all members to be able to change their own usernames. This is a re-test and we will see how it goes. In this Version 2 of this member convenience, you can now "Revert to previous username" you used before you changed it, as long as it is still available.

You can change your name by going to top of forum and clicking on Settings in the top right corner and then choosing Edit Profile in the list on the left column.



Rules of changing names:

- May only change name once every 30 days.

- "Revert to previous username" feature added, allowing users to revert to their previous username, as long as it is still available.

- Racist, bad swearing, domain names or any inappropriate usernames are not allowed. If these names are seen, the member will be warned and have their name changed by a staff member right away. If this is a regular occurrence or if the name was very inappropriate or a domain / advertising name, they will be banned on the spot.

- Do not PM or ask an Admin / Global Moderator in the shoutbox for a change, this is very bad for your memberships health.

- If you have a problem with any username on the forum, please contact a staff member via PM right away so that the matter can be looked at. Do not bring it up in the Shoutbox please.

Is there any way to go back to a username weve used before? I just tried to go back to Kitty Softpaws and apparently its in use. I tried Kitty Purry, thats in use as well so I tried Deep Hard N Funky (as a test) and thats in use as well. No way is that coincidence. Nothing major but thought I'd point that out.

There seems to be a glitch that usernames you've had previously are still considered in use despite no one actually using them, not sure why but it's always been like that. Admins and Smods can change it though, so you still want Kitty Softpaws?
