WWE.com just posted an article confirming that WWE Champion CM Punk will defend the title against Chris Jericho, Kofi Kingston, Dolph Ziggler and The Miz at the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view next month. Here is a blurb from the article:
"In breaking news, Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim Raw General Manager John Laurinaitis revealed exclusively to WWE.com the Superstars who will compete for the WWE Title in the Raw Elimination Chamber Match: WWE Champion CM Punk, Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, R-Truth, The Miz and Kofi Kingston."

I mean, I know that they need to do something with Kofi with Evan out on Suspension. I just find it odd that he is in it, cause to me it looks like they just randomly threw him in. Now, if they plan to have a Kofi/Dolph or Kofi/Jericho Feud going forward then it would make more sense, otherwise it doesn't really.

Cause right now it is:

Miz - Truth
Punk - Dolph//Punk - Jericho
Kofi....

I would imagine the Smackdown EC Match to be = Bryan Vs Big Show Vs Henry (if he is well enough) Vs Orton Vs Wade Vs Cody Rhodes. Though with Henry it depends on how he feels with his recent injuries and Cody might be in it if they don't plan on him defending his IC Title at the EC PPV

Yea Cena/Kane 2 gimmick

Strong match but this is where it all changes lol. Hmm obviously Jericho/Punk so it rules out Taker/Jericho sort of. Still wouldnt be suprised if Taker returns tonight. Ziggler makes sense. Im guessing Cody will be in the SD chamber. Miz makes sense. Kofi sort of does but a handstand got him there , Truth not really cause he was 3rd lol? But the Truth/Miz. Should be interesting lot of shit that could happen.

Yea Christian, Daniel, Cody, Barrett?, who else we got there. Oh Maybe Orton, Big Show? but Shaq. Maybe Henry.

It was announced at the beginning of tonight's WWE SmackDown tapings in Omaha that Daniel Bryan would defend the World Heavyweight Title against Mark Henry, Randy Orton, Wade Barrett, Cody Rhodes and Big Show in the SmackDown Elimination Chamber match.

WWE then did an angle between Teddy Long and Mark Henry where Henry ended up being suspended indefinitely. Henry is apparently being written off TV for a while to deal with injuries.

Later in the tapings, The Great Khali was announced as Henry's replacement. The updated card looks like this:

Lol yup Orton, Daniel, Cody, Barrett predicted thought maybe Christian since he was backstage but no. Show's a suprise due to him facing Shaq we think and Henry guess it makes sense ties in the storyline but obviously not and Khali? Jesus he just came back.

So gotta be Sheamus vs Daniel, Orton vs Sheamus surely and Cody is IC and would be shocking and with the possibility of Goldust. Khali and Show surely can't win. Barrett with Orton obviously. But ahh sort of annoying.
