More on Maryland Student Passing

WUSA News in Baltimore, Maryland reported more on the passing of pro wrestling student Quentin Washington, who passed away after hitting his head while training at Gillberg's school in Maryland.

The story noted that no foul play was involved in Washington's death, but that his family plans to pursue legal action and push for changes in how schools approach training, demanding medical staff to be present at all times. Logistically and financially, I doubt many wrestling schools could afford that expense.

The story noted that Washington hit his head and that the trainers thought he was just winded. He eventually returned to the ring and eventually passed out and vomited. Washington was brain dead by the time his family arrived at the hospital.

Gillberg's school did not respond for requests for comment by the station.
