    Default Y2J Leaving WWE Soon?

There is "strong talk" within WWE that Chris Jericho will only appear for the promotion through April or May before taking another hiatus to tour with Fozzy in the summer.

    LOP

the mac says: "strong talk" means someone heard a intern at wwe headquarters in the bathroom saying he thinks fozzy should go on tour in the summer so its obviously true

Jericho, the "Rock" of the Music Business.

If this is true, then seriously, Jericho has become the Dwayne Johnson of Music.

Except Jericho actually puts out quality music.

This wouldn't surprise me that much, really. He comes in with all this end of the world stuff, Punk beats him and "stops the end of the world" and Jericho leaves again.

Jericho will always be linked to going on tour with his band. But seriously he has done all he needs in the WWE. So if he goes he goes. You can't really stop him.

    Hows that a bad thing?

The Rock makes more money, has more free time and more fame acting in movies than he does acting in soap opera and he's sone everything there is to do in the WWE.

Jerichos done everything there is to do in the WWE as well and has bandmates he cant just ignore because he needs to go act in a poorly written soap opera.

This could be true or this could be pulled out of someone's ass. Either way, it wouldn't be surprising.
If he does go I hope he just stays gone. Honestly, I just don't see the point in him repeatedly coming and going. Not to mention this return has been a total fail. Such a build up, then weeks of silence, promises of the "end" at the Rumble, which he lost.
Now he's doing this thing with Punk. No doubt there will be some good promos (if Chris even decides to speak) and I'm sure the match will be good, but... why? What will have been the point if he leaves? You've already got the Rock, Taker's streak, MitB (I think), and whatever celebs they add, so it's not like they're desperate for someone.

That reminds me, what's going on with Ziggler now?

Unlike the Rock, Jericho usually returns within a year or 2. Took over 7 years for the Rock to return and guess what, after Mania, unless something at SummerSlam is planned, he'll be gone for another 7 years. Fuck Rock. Jericho at least doesn't dress up like the fucking Tooth Fairy.

He can still be a main eventer and flee the scene every once in a while - there's a difference between going on hiatus and coming back vs. making occasional appearances while acting like you're doing the company a favor and giving people a vibe that your return is more for publicity.

Which u watch and have over 11 thousand posts on a forum dedicated to.

This is pretty disappointing news if true, I swear there was a recent interview of him saying he was back for a year or two. If not I guess he had nearly 2 months worth of hype for his return only to come back for 3 months.

*Used to watch. I cant stomach what pro wrestling has become, lame drivel from bad actors trying to look cool to 5 year olds. Now I just come here for the E-fed and of course Maryse

Humungous mistake but its benefitted us as her recent shoots are at least 100x better than her WWE shoots.

Doesn't surprise me, considering he returned just before Wrestlemania to start a feud with Punk pretty much signifies that its only a short term thing.

At this stage in his career, Jericho has earned "Roddy Piper/Undertaker" status in that he can go take breaks so he doesn't get stale & concentrate on other things...save him for the big events.
