Default Hulk Hogan Impressed With Rising IMPACT Wrestling Star

In an interview with Wrestlecast, Hulk Hogan spoke very highly of Magnus based on the latter's recent work in the tag team ranks with Samoa Joe.

"Nick's got something. He's really come on in the last month with Samoa Joe, since they teamed up. I've watched him before but he didn't really poke his head up.

"But all of a sudden, with the Joe thing, he started talking with Joe. Joe came at him like a tough guy and Magnus stood up to him and said 'I'll take care of my s**t, you take care of yours'. It showed that little bit of fire that I hadn't seen. Then in the ring, he was really aggressive. I think there is something there.

"We definitely need to pay a lot of attention to him. He definitely, without a push and without any help, he is starting to shine through."

Good stuff from Hogan there, I was expecting an article about Garett Bischoff.

Magnus has been solid for a while now, he just wasn't on Impact.

You started to see signs of Magnus with the British Invasion & the brief time with London Brawling playing off both Williams (WHERE IS HE!) & Desmond but Hogan got it right here in that he's come into his own with Joe as he's not really playing off Joe more than just being his own man associated with him.

The match listings have him in an X division match on this weeks Impact.

I found it a bit strange that when Gunner put Doug face first into the concrete that Magnus was nowhere to be seen.

Seeing how he hasn't been "cycled in" the X division yet unlike Kendrick & the other X guys or since his TV Title feud with A.J. Styles over a year ago with the exception of his one match at Destination X past being a jobber...it's not cycled, it's wasted.

Magnus was a guy I personally thought nothing of, but he has really taken advantage of being put in that tag team with Joe.

Magnus And Joe makes a great Team indeed!!!

However, i still prefer Magnus to be with Doug as the Brit Invation.

Funny how they were still a team before they went with this wild card tag team thing and separated the pair.
Guess for the better? For the Magnus yes

Now Doug Williams gets the shaft

But either way, good for Magnus
