Lol, yeah, that definitely came across on the show too.
1.) The Daniel Bryan-Sheamus match was stupid. Everyone in our section was like, "huh? Whatever." Goes to show you how much the WWE values the WH title and the entire Royal Rumble legacy.
6.) Taker-HHH was awesome, but I am in agreement with Flames that I didn't like it nearly as much as last year's match. I define a great wrestling match by whether or not I am on the edge of my seat wondering who will win. There needs to be a level of suspense involved since the most important thing surrounding any competition between two or more parties is winning and losing. If I can guess who will win before it happens, it's dumb. Now, I know we can all make educated guesses because we know enough about the business and backstage stuff, but it's still possible to have a match be so suspensful that it defeats those things. Last year, I was on the edge of my seat in the Georgia Dome and a couple of times legitimately thought Triple H would win. This year, I never got that feeling, even after the Sweet Chin-Pedigree combo. I always knew that Taker would win. I'm glad he won, though. The streak needs to continue.
7.) Everyone is complaining about Jericho-Punk. Why? You should've gone into it expecting a technical wrestling match, and that is what you got. Jericho even brought back the real Liontamer for a bit there. I was somewhat unhappy with the finish and who won, but I'm still very impressed by the two.
8.) The Rock vs. John Cena was a match where I was on the edge of my seat wondering who would win. I thought Cena would win the whole way but kept hoping and hoping Rock would pull it out. When Cena reversed the crossbody into an F-U and Rock was on his shoulders shaking his head "no," I thought that would be it. But he kicked out, and I marked the hell out. Having Cena mock Rock was an awesome way to lead into the finish, and that Rock Bottom was top notch. As he pinned him, I thought Cena would kick out. But when he won it, I went ballistic. There were at least five "If Cena wins, we riot" signs, counting the one they showed in the front section. Some of the fans in the lower sections seemed divided, but up top where I was, it was 95% Rock-5% Cena.
I agree completely with what you said about the D-Bry and Sheamus match.
I personally was on the edge of my seat for the hell in a cell match. When they hit the Sweet chin music-pedigree combo I really thought that was it.
I LOVED Punk vs. Jericho, it was a great showing of technical wrestling. I even thought when Jericho pulled "the real" lion tamer that that was it.
I was also on the edge of my seat for Rock vs. Cena, I really thought it was over when Cena countered the cross body. The ending could have been a tad better if Rock did the kip up into the rock bottom at the end, but was still a great finish.
I've made this argument on here before and I will again. John Cena already is a heel. What defines a "face" or a "heel" is not whether they do good or bad things. It's by the fan reaction. If you are booed, you are a heel. If you are cheered, you are a face. Stone Cold did bad things, but everyone cheered him. He was a face. John Cena acts like a good guy, but the fans boo him. He is a heel.
Alright, watched the show live & a replay just incase I missed something so here's my two cents...
There is no excuse...none in my mind for them doing what they did to the World Title match. If you want to try to break a record, do it on a match that quite frankly nobody would get mad at or miss for doing it. We didn't know Kane vs. Chavo was happening on WM24 until Kane won the preshow battle royal so there was no hype to that match so the squash made sense...just like the WM squash matches in the past as I'm sure nobody was shedding a tear when the Hart Foundation squashed the Bolshiveks or Earthquake beat Adam Bomb. But this was bullshit...and nothing can justify that.
Seemed like Orton & Kane were just having an off night as the match wasn't bad but it's like they never left first gear & had way better matches in the past. Looks like this is the yearly "free TV Mania rematch" that will probably surpass the one they did on the PPV.
Show vs. Cody was nice but at least Show got his moment.
I'm shocked they gave the divas match so much time but really showcased that Beth & Eve are two of the girls holding that division together as they actually wrestled & did storytelling working over Maria's injured ribs & damn Beth's tough as hell as took that top rope move from Kelly straight on while holding her up so she could go the bulldog reversal right.
Taker vs. Triple H...what can I say that hasn't already been said in that was awesome.
Tag match was nice but laughed hard at Mark Henry's midget tossing.
Punk/Jericho was really good but could have been better because they were TOO focused on that "lose by DQ" stipulation at the beginning of the match until they finally just dropped it & wrestled. Didn't they learn their lesson from WM25 that doing the "can lose by DQ" stipulation only works when it's placed on the heel champion as it kills the match when it's on a babyface!?!
The Cena who performed in this match is the John Cena I like & the one I want to see more often...it lived up to the hype for me.
As for other things...didn't care for Funkasaurus outside of the fan actually calling his momma on the phone on camera & getting a laugh at the dancers being called "the bridge club"...didn't care about the musical performances...the backstage segments were stupid (outside of Ron Simmons doing the "DAMN") but at least it wasn't overkill like last year.
EDIT: I almost forgot that I was the preshow tag match today & knowing how WWE could give a damn less about the division, it was real good & enjoyed that quick match than a majority of the undercard.

gotta disagree with the dude who says cena is a heel
he is a guy wwe want to be a face but we choose to boo - that doesnt make him a heel
for me its just because he is a goody goody - just be normal cena, normal people do get angry sometimes - normal people dont always rise above hate, sometimes we get pissed off
see how desperately people chanted yes yes yes when on raw he said "is this finally the night i turn on the wwe universe" - they cheered the chance that he might turn on them!!! they want some human characteristics in the guy

I don't think so. I think the WWE writers expect us to boo him. If they wanted us to cheer him, they would make his edgy and everything else you said. They want us to boo him because it is the biggest reaction any wrestler in the world gets. They make him goody goody on purpose because they want us to boo him for it.
It wasn't originally like that, but they kept Cena the same way for it.

every one is thinking cena as a strong contendor of the match but one cant take rock as lightly as he is the former world champion and is a pretty good wrestler just hope that the match is played fair enough and wish the favorite one to win the match
