Default Nfl combine is near! And draft speculation..

Alright gentleman (and possibly ladies).. it's time to start talking about the nfl draft! Combine is next week. I am soooooooo happy there's an article with my school's hometown product, TY Hilton from Florida International University.. Yes you're asking Florida what? Only florida teams i know are Florida, Florida State, and University of Miami. FIU is a state university that started football in 2002 (so relatively young) and is in the sun belt conference (yes one of the weaker ones, but not necessarily the weakest conference). However, FIU has played against some good teams over the year.. Louisville, UCF in 2011.. Alabama, Florida, Texas A&M, etc couple years back. They aren't a premier team but they are a very good, up and coming team. In 2010, FIU went 6-6 and won the sun belt (co won) and won their first bowl game! In 2011, they went 8-4 (best school record) and lost their bowl game. However, in the draft there will be 1 FIU product who goes by the name of TY Hilton.

I swear, if you haven't at least heard the name, you aren't a college football fan. He's made sportscenter top 10 plays (yes seriously) and he's been televised on espn a few times (most noticably against Louisville this past year). He's a small receiver (like 5'9 185lbs) but he can seriously run faster than most players in the college football. If i had to guess, he can run a 4.4 40 (probably quicker). And he has great hands and he can return punts, kickoffs really well. He's not a top 2 round pick, but i think he is a 3rd round pick.

Here's an article that names him a sleeper pick. http://www.nfl.com/combine/story/090...module=HP11_cp

Here are some youtube vids of TY hilton
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWXVsrcrOD0

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-vdH...eature=related

You can go on youtube and find his punt/kickoff returns and stuff.. but those 2 are the ones i was referring to. This guy is a stud. He'll probably be underestimated because he came from the sun belt but seriously, whoever picks him up is gonna have a happy fucking day when they play TY for the first time.

Ok, yes i made this entire post about TY but I want people's opinions about TY! This thread is about everyone, so to add a different topic.. Who will the 3rd qb drafted be? Luck, RG3 will go in the top 5 picks but who will the 3rd qb be? Mckarron? Wheedon?

T.Y. Hilton is a good player, but like you have stated Flames he is very small. Something that will hurt him in the NFL, one up-side though is that he is fast. So someone will probably take a chance on him and I can see him probably going in the late 3rd early 4th round. If he was a bit taller he would probably be a 2nd round pick, but because like I said the size that will hurt him, also teams don't select special team players in the first two rounds. Will he be a good prospect? Who knows. Will he be drafted? Most likely yes. To whom? A team that needs a back up wide receiver and someone who can return kicks.

He's a better version of Ted Ginn Jr. I like your thoughts Drew. Now who do you think will be the 3rd drafted qb and which team will he end up with?

Third quaterback I have to think about that but probably off the top of my head it will probably be Case Kennum (however you spell his name) from Houston. Colts will easily select Andrew Luck as the first QB, then I have been hearing the Browns are getting sick of Colt McCoy so they will probably select Robert Griffin III in the 1st round. Now, you have a long ways off for Case as he isn't a first round talent. So I think that maybe if the Redskins don't take RG3, then you will probably see them select Case. Or if they do get RG3 then I can see the Browns getting Kennum. Either way I think Keenum is the 3rd QB off the board.

Yeah I think it could be Keenum or it could be Wheedon from Oklahoma State. I'd pick wheedon because he played in a major conference. So i would have to pick him over Keenum. He's against more pro style teams. Keenum is good no doubt, but Wheedon is older and has faced tougher teams.

That's the problem I see with Weeden, he is older he is 28, so it is going to be hard for him to play in the NFL in my eyes. Yes he is good but being older makes a huge difference I believe.

He's not that much older.. and if anything, he's the right age. He has more knowledge than keenum. Or at least he should being that he's older.

Stephen Hill from Georgia Tech has 2 4.30 40's.. and he didnt drop any passes in the first drill.. VERY IMPRESSED by him. I'm disappointed my boy TY Hilton didnt perform in the combine.. At least not yet.. no 40, no bench press, no first 2 drills. Keenum hasn't been throwing well. I think he might've lowered his stock a little bit.
