Nothing new, they have to start mixing it up ya know? I'm not feeling it.. Cowboy vs Roode, same stuff right? Tired.

Default Blog: Impact Wrestling. Raw, unedited.

I have to say, Dixie Carter was very convincing in her performance opening the show. TNA and Roode should get praise because it feels like legit heat for Bobby Roode.

Sting is still over like crazy with the TNA fans. We Want Revenge chant haha. Sting is going to be a full time wrestler again, not sure about this but, if it means Hogan takes that spot as GM then I am all for it. Hogan may not draw the same amount of fans, but he is over with every fan that is in the building when his name is mentioned.

    Bully Ray promo = Gold.

This Fourway X-Division match was fairly entertaining, but still fairly spotty, especially they tope turnbuckle spot. Wrestlers today use that spot so much it means nothing. Ahh, here is Bully Ray…Aries face turn, here we go. It is a good idea to have this Bully Ray/Aries feud while Aries is the X-Division Champion because it will only elevate the Championship.

No idea who this Repo Games guy is, so this little segment with Mexican America doesn’t work for me.

Christy Hemme…yummi. That is all I am going to say.

It is nice to see Rosita and Sarita on television. Here come there opponents. Love it or hate it, I have seen worse things in wrestling than ODB and Eric Young. The finish to that match was just weird. Shame because the match was working.

Bobby Roode, best heel interview in the business today? He is at the top of his game that is for sure.

Crimson as a heel, we shall see how this turns out. Decent start to his heel run w a surprisingly good promo from Crimson, but not good enough to make me care about his program with Morgan.

Please no Abyss, split personality shit, please no.

I am stating this right now; Roode vs. Storm in the cage is a turning point for this wrestling company. It would be a bigger match if it was the only cage match at Lockdown though. I love the idea of TNA using this retrospective vignettes to hype the match. First of many I hope.

Another solid promo by James Storm, and a classic heel move by sending out a Lawyer. Why can’t this guy just read the letter rather then cut a wrestling promo? It comes across fake and contrived. Why are Roode and the lawyer booking matches?

Who gives a shit about Kurt Angles twitter? He is one of the greatest workers of his time. He has great matches and his interviews are always entertaining. The way TNA is using Garrett Bischoff is a very good way to learn. I always remember a story Raven told in a shoot interview about advise he got when he was training that you should only spend a month or so in the wrestling school. Wrestling in front of people is how you learn. Nice little match and finish, nothing spectacular though.

Here we have another appearance by Mexican America against the tag team champions. Nice match to continue building Joe and Mangus for the return of the Motor City Machine Guns when Chris Sabin is healthy. Maybe have the Guns split during a program with Joe and Magnus and start a tag team killer gimmick with Joe and Magnus. The tag division maybe not have enough depth for an angle like that.

    It is Hogan!

TNA is really getting behind James Storm and the company is not getting enough credit for it considering the long period of time the Internet was up in arms when TNA was not focusing on those younger names.

Get used to me saying this, but Daniels impresses me more and more every week. Not going to say much about this match, just listen to the crowd. Storm is over, over, over baby. Dominate win by Storm and exactly the correct decision. Keep Roode off of television and let Storm cut the promo’s and win matches. I have not been so up for a rematch in prowrestling for a long time.

Hulkamania baby, still running wild! Babe Ruth of Wrestling, don’t care what an hater says. Respect the man, sex tape and all. Seriously though, with Hogan, Rock etc I don’t think wrestling fans appreciate these guys while they are here with us. Good cliff hanger by TNA, just missing an announcer like Jim Ross or Gorilla Monsoon to make the moment feel bigger.
