well, Finlay's got nothing to prove to anyone, so it would be in vain
the only competition Wrestling needs is the one beetween the Wrestlers, not the companies... if WWE, TNA and ROH could just stop taking shots on each other and fully focus on the growth of their products, that would make a lot of people happy

And Rection, since you haven't been in touch with wrestling for a bit, i will bring up to speed on what the Proving Ground concept entails. It 's basically a wrestler gets a match vs a title holder and if they win they are guaranteed a title shot within 60 days. Sadly they are 20 min time limits. ROH seems to give them mostly to outside talent.

actually it doesn't sound like a bad idea, and a well respected veteran like Fit could add a lot of prestige to the ROH title
