Default Could old faces bring a freshness or a renewal to Impact Wrestlin?

If TNA brought back Monty Brown, Lance Hoyt, The Naturals (Chase Stevens and Andy Douglas), Triple X (Low-Ki and Elix Skipper), Petey Williams and Amazing Red would it bring a new freshness without having to introduce and build guys. All of these eight guys are still in great shape and still have the ability to work great matches. Each of these men have the ability to fit into whatever division that they are needed into. May it be the TV, X-Division, Tag or World Title, they all have a reason to do their part.

Monty might be cool to see, but he probably has a lot of ring rust. He wasn't that great to begin with either.

Lance might be okay if he teamed with Kid Kash.

Chase is allegedly signed or going to sign with WWE. Andy retired...I think??

Skipper is really up there in age. Red would bring nothing to the table...they just released him a few months ago. Petey might be okay, but I'm not that interested. I'm all for Low Ki returning.

I would say hire a lot of new guys. Four for the X Division, 2 Knockouts, and 3 new tag teams. So that's 12 people, or just 11 if you pair Hoyt and Kash.

If they hire that many, then they can release a few guys. Robbie E, Robbie T, Devon, Madison, ODB, Anarquia, Hernandez, Garrett Bischoff, Gunner, Mark Haskins, Shannon Moore, Tracy Brooks

Release Sting, Flair, or Hogan. They need to move forward and only have one major legend on at a time.

i'd love to see Monty return and have a good run, but i think he's retired now
Lance would definitively work, if it wasn't because there's Crimson and Morgan already
Triple X maybe, but i think Elix's retired too, i hope not
Petey would be great to rebuild the X Division, that IMO still lacks the excitement it had until 2008
Red.. meh! I respect him as he's a nice guy, but he sucks on the mic, and leaves a lot to be desired in the ring

i'd liek to see them bring back some old faces... but i think it might be a good idea to bring in some talent from Ring Ka King, maybe an Indian tag team to fill the lack of legit teams in the division, also Chris Masters, Luke Gallows (dont remember his name in RKK) or obviously Sonjay Dutt

the only competition Wrestling needs is the one beetween the Wrestlers, not the companies... if WWE, TNA and ROH could just stop taking shots on each other and fully focus on the growth of their products, that would make a lot of people happy

Honestly, it would just compound the problem they already have of living in the past and relying on older guys. The only difference is that none of the guys you mentioned have much name value to anyone but diehard TNA fans or longtime wrestling fans. Your casual fan isn't going to know who Elix Skipper or Petey Williams is. Low Ki is really the only guy I could see being an asset to TNA at this point. He has a style different to any in TNA right now and is a former X division champion. He could be the guy to take over as X division standard bearer when Aries moves up the card.

They are better served bringing in fresh faces and buildingg them up. There are concepts from the past, like Team Canada that could still work. Maybe bring back Scott D'Amore as manager.

People might not know Petey Williams but the Canadian Destroyer is pretty hard to forget, I also loved his "Oh, Canada" bit while standing on someone's crotch

I've wanted to see the Naturals back for years, after the bs way they got put out, but it's over and done now, as said above one of them was getting looked at by WWE and the other retired, I'm sure they were getting a tryout as a team a while back but posted something about it on the internet and it all fell through

People TNA do want back, if they had any sense,

Homicide - Look at Mexican America, imagine LAX, TNA are idiots for letting Homicide go
    Jay Lethal
    Sonjay Dutt
    Roxxi - Just because...

TNA has enough midcarders and heavyweights so it's only really X guys and tag teams they need

None of these guys never had any true name value to them & if they did have any in the past, it's long gone now...just look at when they brought back Chris Harris. The only person who would make any type of Impact would be Low-Ki for the X division because of his strong style but it's a case of "been there & done that" twice with him & I don't see him coming back under the current direction TNA has.

Madison is still weak in the ring. She seemed better when she was Velvet and Angelina's lackey.

Okay, keep Hernandez but bring in Homicide to team up with him. Anarquia is unhelpful.

Good point. I wouldn't mind seeing some fresh faces just for the idea that someone new might catch on and become popular whereas the old guys will probably just fall back into their old midcard spot unless they've created a completely new gimmick.

This. There's usually a good reason that they lt people go in the first place. They already have enough older guys and enough "TNA Originals" left around. What they need is new blood and to actually give the new talent time on TV to get the crowd invested.

Oh yeah, they have a huge problem with focusing on the past where the focus of the show is Bobby Roode vs. James Storm...just decided I can't be bothered.

Clearly don't watch the shows, as this is not an issue anymore.

Then after saying don't bring back old names, you suggest living in the past with Team Canada again. lol.

Madison Rayne is weak in the right? Of you are judging her from the, 'wrestlers are acrobats' bubble? She was better value as a lackey? She has been a shinning light on Impact for the last 12 months. Come on dude.

Speaking of Chris Harris. You think he regrets going to WWE?

That more or less ruined his career. He tried to come back to TNA and he was slapped with the infamous "KNOCK KNOCK, WHO'S THERE, BRADEN WALKER!" chants.

It's his own fault for showing up out of shape. It was his big chance and he blew it.

if TNA builds these guys up properly then it could be great to see them come back or it could turn out bad if used wrongly.

id love to see a return of more x division guys. they work well in any division really. x division, tag team or competing for the tv or world title. bring back low ki for sure. jay lethal and homicide and petey williams. on the knockouts side they should try to reconcile with daffney, bring back roxxi and get sara del ray and cheerleader melissa, daisy haze too.
