So Rob Van Dam makes his return to TNA and joins team Garrett to help dispose of team Eric. Now what? News reports say that RVD is here for longer than just 1 PPV appearance so TNA has obviously promised him something big for him to stay with the company. Does he feud with Bully Ray/Gunner/Daniels/Kazarian? Does he go after Roode right away?
I don't think that the Roode vs. Storm storyline is anywhere near done. I think this could go another 2 PPVs. Maybe RVD sticks his nose in and makes the next PPV match a 3-way???
I think he should turn heel (which is unlikely as he probably shifts a fair amount of merch) and then feud with AJ Styles, have a feud based on who is the best athlete in TNA or something similar, I would kill for an AJ/RVD/Samoa Joe feud.
^^^He already had a few matches with AJ in TNA & they didn't live up to expectations so not really high on a feud between them & RVD doesn't know how to work heel anymore, he's in his comfort zone. Just give him the TV Title & let him perform.
as much as I like RVD, i think he doesn't have too much to offer currently, I don't see him reinventing himself into something new
the only competition Wrestling needs is the one beetween the Wrestlers, not the companies... if WWE, TNA and ROH could just stop taking shots on each other and fully focus on the growth of their products, that would make a lot of people happy
RVD stayed with TNA because he has become very active talking about making Marijuana legal and I am pretty sure WWE would put a stop to that quick smart, if he ever went back there.
He is a legit talent, who is fresh off of his recent break and it appears Bobby Roode as World Champion is the long term plan right now.
RVD is a different style of opponent for Roode and it should be a good match. Could be time to turn RVD heel and see if he regains some of his youth with that change.

If TNA want to insist on using RVD they really should think of turning him heel, he's the most stale personality in pro wrestling, he hasn't changed or evolved one bit in the last decade and he's wrestled the exact same match night in night out that entire time too. He's beyond stale.
