What a totally uneventful PPV.
R.I.P Larry. You Will be missed. Ain't No Doubt About it!
April 2007 - May 2013. Officially retired.
^^^To be honest, just looking at the card...I didn't expect much of anything from the start.
Second PPV in as many weeks Ive felt it looked poor going into it but was left pleasantly surprised after watching.
Don't really agree with it opening the show, particularly as the IC title match was later and thus potentially implying that belt is more significant than the World Title. Either way though Sheamus vs Dolph was solid and entertaining. The crowd was red hot for Ziggler towards the end, don't know whether he was told too or not but Lawler commenting "Listen to this crowd! Lets go Sheamus" all excitedly when all I could hear were lots of "Lets Go Ziggler" chants. Dolph did himself plenty fo favours and has hopefully cemented his position to win the MITB next month.
Santino vs Ricardo on PPV in a Tuxedo match? Right moving on.....
Cody vs Christian was another well worked and entertaining match up. Cody kicking out of the Killswitch was a surprise. Cole even gave a reason for Christians sudden face turn which was a nice touch on the continuity front. Beautiful Disaster countered witha spear giving Christian the win.
What's this? Four credible tag teams in a decent match AND an angle developing? Hopefully the star of a spotlight for the tag division again. Not a fan of the Primetime Players at all mind.
Layla stealing Beths tiara and running round dancing with it? Come now, fuck off. Beth should have been able to steam roller her for it but no no Layla had an answer and won with the neckbreaker. Back to the drawing board for Beth.
Triple H vs Lesnar is seemingly set for Summerslam then. Big marquee match. Some decent title bouts and it should be a blockbuster.
Glad AJ wasn't involved heavily in the match. Was a decent triple threat with some nice spots. Interesting ending too with Punk pushing Kane in AJ and then the conniving smile as Kane carried her away at the end. Simply crazy AJ or Punk knowingly involved?
Ryback didn't need to be on after the WWE title. Interesting slightly "Feed me 3".
Dum de dum, main event was a dud again although not unexpected really. Big bad Big Show is scared to leave the ring because of an apparently injured Brodus Clay? Really? Kick the chair in his face as you exit the door. Sillyness with Riley and Santino running inot teh cage. Ryder got KO'd through the mesh. Kofi had a decent bit knocking Show down. Cena hits an AA and climbs out whilst Show is virtually out the door then literally stopped so Cena could land first. Poor timing but still.
Lauranitus sacked and thrown through a table to close the show.
Overall much better effort than I was expecting it to be. 7/10

I feel extremely ripped off that AJ wasn't a huge part of the match.. Seriously. She's been promoted FOR WEEKS as being at the centre of the storyline, and she even said "The best man will win this sunday".. Then, she leaves with the loser? The hell?
For you guys who follow WWE weekly, what girl did Kane lift up and carry? And Why?
Sabin Shelley Army: Smartmark should be the third admin. Mac knows it and holds him down
Personally I think they got her involvement more or less spot on.
They let the match play out with the 3 wrestlers involved. No sideshow needed.
AJ came out for the finish and played a huge role in not only giving Punk the win, but in keeping Kane looking fairly strong.
Yes she left in Kanes arms but only after playing possum and smirking back at CM Punk which gave the impression she'd intentionally helped Punk.
