Icon8 Who Should Dethrone Kevin Steen? In Both ROH and PWG

Yeah, believe it or not, I'm not very found of Steen being champion on both ROH and PWG. Steen winning at ROH Border Wars was no surprise, but it still bugs the crap out of me. Last year Steen and El Generico had a feud, lasting for a year, and Generico got the best of the contest, and still hasn't wore the strap. And now, Steen comes back and wins the title. Shenanigans all the way, and I can't say I'm cool with it at all. Generico should be world champion in ROH, and I can even mention a couple of other guys who deserves that strap before Kevin Steen. For what PWG is concerned, I say give the title to Joey Ryan and let him have a heel run in PWG. The guy is having tryout matches with TNA, and giving him the PWG strap would only push him further. I for one would love Joey Ryan in TNA, as Joey Ryan is one of my personal favorites and TNA is my favorite wrestling promotion.

What do you think? And who do you think should dethrone Steen?

as of ROH: nobody yet, and Steen should turn babyface already, tell Cornette that straight up serious babyfaces don't work anymore since 1983, fans were cheering for him when he was feuding with Jim's golden boy Davey Richards... in all seriousness, I started to become a Kevin Steen mark as of lately, the guy does something that none of Cornette's overpushed MMA-lookalikes do: making you care about his matches

as of PWG: I didn't watch too much, but I wouldn't mind if Willie Mack beats him in the future, he's really talented. but by now strike the iron while it's hot and keep all the belts you can on Steen

the only competition Wrestling needs is the one beetween the Wrestlers, not the companies... if WWE, TNA and ROH could just stop taking shots on each other and fully focus on the growth of their products, that would make a lot of people happy

RoH: Personally i would love to see them build up Ciampa. However i got a feeling Richards will win it back.

    PWG: Don't watch.

After the recent happenings, with Joey Ryan's promo on TNA, I would say it would be pretty wise to give the PWG strap to him, so he can use that in his TNA promos

Well if Ryan is going to TNA (and it certainly looks that way) then why put the belt on him? Why build a guy who is leaving? Better to build up a guy who is going to be there for years to come.

Didn't think about it till it was already mentioned but for the P.W.G. title...Willie Mack could be the most emotional win that company could ever have because Willie started out in the crowd of those shows as a fan & worked his ass off to now be part of the company. You can't get a bigger moment than a guy who grew up right infront of those same group of fans become the champion of the company.

i find them much more interesting than the vanilla midgets they used to have as champions through last year (Strong, Richards, Edwards...)
