Really strong effort with solid matches throughout and some great spots as well.

Nice of them give Sorensen a bit of time on the show.

Ion is probably my least favourite of the 4 in the Ultimate X match but as has been mentioned he's a contracted talent and it's great for the X Division to have an actual character too. The heat generated by using Sorensen worked excellently and he could be a real smug bastard style champion.

Also lots of praise for Sonjay Dutt and AJ Styles. Both seemed to get hurt early on but battled through to finish their matches.

Styles Clash off the ramp through the table was awesome.

Pleased to see Joe get a big win. Nice way to do it too having Angle choked out rather than tapping. Perhaps a sign of things to come? Joe coming off as a legitimate badass who WILL hurt you if you're in his way.

Aries and Roode did everything anticipated of them. Excellent back and forth stuff and despite inadvertently catching a spoiler could still get a sense how it could have gone either way.

Austin Aries has everything to be a great champion. No doubting that. I am surprised he won it though. Things seem to be built up and ready for Roode to have been the dominant, by October a damned near unbeatable machine of a champion but now he's lost that's all gone.

In a way though it's great. As said, Aries is a top star so it's not like the title matches will suffer. It's more exciting having it be unpredictable and not knowing which way they will go with things.

Roode vs Storm was assumed to be a lock for BFG but if they go that way now for the title it won't have the same effect. Anything could work though. Aries vs Joe has been mentioned in here.

Get AJ up the rankings and have "the face of the company" against "the face of the greatest man who ever lived".

Angle can put on a match with just about anyone.

    RVD, Storm, Hardy even Daniels.

They have a wealth of options and I'm looking forward to watch and see, as long as Aries doesn't lose a rematch next month

I guess the Era of the Selfish Generation is over, ey?
Not only is it ridiculous, but it would devalue both the World title and James Storm winning it. Also, it would mean multiple title changes, which would be too much.

So you would suggest that Storm doesn't win the BFG series and Aries keeps the belt until BFG?

I'm hoping Angle wins the BFG series now. An Aries-Angle match for the title? Yes please.

Hell of a show, especially when you consider the fact that half or more of the guys featured where uncontracted guys with a week of build.

Big credit to the heels. Kid Kash, Daniels, Ion and Roode all garnered great reactions from the crowd and really played their roles excellently. As much as I'm not a WWE basher and enjoy a lot of what they do, this is something WWE has really lost. Good old fashiond heel work (see also Bully Ray) to generate hatred from a crowd. Nice to see. Especially loved Kid Kash's revolving finger to the crowd.

Storm may still win BFG series, but if he wins the title it may not be from Roode but rather Aries.

Man first Slammiversary and now this, TNA is officially back BAYBEE! That was an awesome PPV and with all the talent on hand I bet that was a cheap PPV to make as well with the lack of signed/"star" talent. X Division guys did awesome, hope to see Rubix, Andrews, Dutt and obviously King picked up, why it would also be great to see more of Kash and Williams. I don't think one of those matches was below a 7/10 and I thought they did well to recover in Ultimate X when Dutt (who I would predict as the ring leader got knocked out). I dont see a lengthy run for Ion but he has a fresher character after the Sorenson angle and there is a lot of talent he can compete with. Some of those X division guys could be used in the tag division to.

Angle vs Joe was awesome. Biggest PPV win for Joe I can remember for years, great work for both of em. Daniels vs Styles was awesome. How they switched the style, took it a more brawling, hardcore route was awesome, just what the PPV needed. With the expectations going in (Daniels vs Styles 100th time) I thought the match was perfect, where does the angle go from here. Kaz and Daniels really need to revive the tag division.

Aries vs Roode. Wow, where to start. Props to Aries, great to see him do it, but props to Roode. Greatest TNA Champion ever and it aint gonna be that long before he gets the belt back. As I and others have said I see Aries potentially dropping it back at Hardcore Justice or maybe No Surrender. Gives the two something to do over the bound for glory series and creates a much higher rate of interest. To people saying it diminishes Aries or Roode or the title, it didn't hurt Mankind/Rock, Rock/HHH amongst others to trade the title. Makes you have to watch to know what will come next and gives character development. Either way imo they cant lose. Theres no gurantee Storm win's either, I dont think I would have called Roode last year. Lets just wait and see.

But awesome awesome job TNA. PLease keep it up!!
