^ Yeah they can, before Elijah Burke got his 'Pope' gimmick, he was wearing his attire that he wore in WWE. Same with guys that go to WWE from TNA, R Truth wears the same as he wore in TNA.
I guess it just depends on the gimmick, like Kennedy having to change "Kennedy" on his tights to "Anderson" now he's in TNA. I guess if MVP (for example) ever went to TNA he's have to drop the under armour he's wearing.

It really depends because if you have a specific uniform for the character they created for you (not just a name but an actual character) then WWE/TNA has a case of you trying to use their copywrites. For example, if Mark Calloway went to TNA then he can't dress up in the Undertaker attire because WWE owns everything related to that gimmick...WCW tried that back in late '93 with Ray Traylor still dressing up in his Big Boss Man attire leading to WWE suing. However Owen was on the money with people like R-Truth, Mr. Anderson, ect. in that it's just regular gear then it doesn't matter.

^^^The 90 day no compete clause is not something that manditory, it an option for the wrestler being released that most take...get paid 90 days to sit at home & do whatever you want as long as you don't jump anywhere else. Kurt Angle didn't take it as Raven didn't take it either when he got released because they didn't have to. As a side note, that clause is only in effect when your released early from your contract...if your contract expires then you can do whatever you want like how Christian showed up on TNA from WWE the same week his contract was up in '05.

^^^Never heard anything about an exact amount or being able to buy the name but I'm thinking if Vince opened the checkbook & payed an amount then he wouldn't have to blur all images of the past use of the logo & use initials...just not use it anymore in current day.

thanks, and thats another thing i've wondered, i know the wwf attitude logo violated the terms, but why did wwe have to go back even to the hogan days and censor wwf when the deal was in effect then (they cant say wwf, but yet is old wwf logo is allowed? i think i remember seeing it on wwe's version of old wwf matches.

^^^Well the behind the whole lawsuit is that back in 1979 when World Wide Wrestling Federation became the World Wrestling Federation, they would later make an agreement with the WWF (the wildlife people) on how to share the name. WWE violated the terms of the agreement and in the lawsuit, the Wildlife Fund pointed to the heavy use of their "Attitude Era" logo so when WWE lost the lawsuit, they couldn't market or refer to themselves as the WWF in certain situations and they couldn't use the "Attitude Era" logo...nothing was ever said about their old logos before that one so WWE can still use those & still use the past references to "World Wrestling Federation" but they can't refer to themselves as "WWF" or show the Attitude Era logo.
