Hello to all members,
New rules shall be introduced very shortly and I recommend everyone read them. When they are finally posted, an announcement shall be made in the Announcements forum that can be found here.
Signature Rules:
As of 30th Oct, 2007 (TODAY), one of the new signature rules shall be that there will be no more advertising other forums or websites that are the main pages for forums. Some forums will be allowed but only affiliates and forums granted permission by the admin.
At this time, we ask that all advertising of the above be removed please. If a staff member does see it, they shall remove it for you. If a member continues to advertise, that forum url and member shall be banned.
Another rule that will come into effect when the rules are up is that there will only be one large image allowed in your sigs. Its height is to be determined but the width shall remain at 500. We advise you save your images in your signature and choose one so you are ready for the new rule.
More rules shall be written but these will not come into effect till the rules are posted.
PWSForums is growing and people are able to buy advertising space. it is not fair to these people with advertising going on. Also, with the large images, alot of signatures are slowing down the threads and forum in general.
On a final note, please remember, advertising via PM or in the shoutbox or blatant advertising via a thread is against the rules and always has been. If any member does do this, the url and member will be banned.
We hope you understand why this must happen and appreciate your help and co-operation in this matter.
